Thank you for posting this. It didn’t fix my problem entirely, but got me going in the right direction. I found that my fridge still made a buzzing noise after doing this. Sharing what worked for me in case it can help someone else out. I went ahead and added an additional four o-rings between the metal shield and the plastic and no more buzzing!
