Thanks for posting this. I have a Haier and it has been having a similar issue. I’m going to check the capacitor, as that seems like it could be it. By the way, While it would be nice for the unit to have a temp setting memory, it should be defaulting back to 55 degrees, in the event of a power interruption. 55 is the most ideal storage temperature for wines.

my smaller haier wine cooler works, but will not get below 52 F.. I just started working on it.. the fans work.. the big aluminum heat dissipator plate on the back is kind of dirty, so I will blow it out and see if that helps..do these thermo electric systems just wear out over time?

Any idea what the red and green LEDs on the boards indicate? I have the same model and have always wondered when I see them when I’m servicing the filters.

Joe, In regards to your Generac 4000EXL generator repairs.
I have the same unit with the same stickers on the side just like yours but I can not find the engine model number and type and code (which B&S want to give you any assistance for part numbers). They say its on the OVHI cover but it's not. Can you locate it on yours?
Also, did you have to remove the fuel tank to get the spark plug out? I can get a socket over the plug but there is no room to attach a ratchet. Whats the trick?

I just picked up an Avanti with what looks to be the same problem. I don’t see any visible bulging on any of the capacitors. How do I test them with my multimeter to see if one is blown?
Thanks for this very helpful video!

Unfortunately, the capacitor has to be removed to test. Look really carefully - sometimes failed capacitors can be subtle.

      Eh
I already pulled them, tested them, put them back in, and promptly blew the fuse.
      Lol
I didn’t cross anything on the board, I think I got one or both too hot when removing/resoldering.
      Who knows.
I’m going to bypass that whole system and just use a power supply and a thermostat board.
      Thanks so much for responding!

I was gifted a Wine Enthusiast unit with the same controller boards. The capacitors look fine however 12v is not being delivered to the daughter board that drives the fans… any thoughts?

I have a Newair that has done the same thing. Who would I call to repair it? An appliance repair person?

Highly doubtful any repair service would touch it. They would likely condemn it and tell you to replace, sadly.
