If your canister is clogged, disconnecting and plugging the line would result in the same engine performance. My money is on your ignition control module overheating.
I plugged the vacuum line and put an air filter on the vapor line. It cranks and runs much better now. Removed purge valve and an no longer connected to canister.
i would get someone to look at your 1991 camaro and have them to make sure that everything is hook up right and get it tune up as well
Lol - how can you tell if you're getting poor performance out of a 3.1? Doesnt it come with poor performance standard from the factory?
