One of the many reason’s I love Pianos Become The Teeth, no band has ever matched their imagery in music videos.
Every band has some cheesy storyline to fit the song, Pianos gives you amazing shots, leaving you to determine what it means, which is what music is all about. What you comprehend of the music, beautiful shots, and how it ties in. Because your understanding is the only one that matters.

why did they think this didnt deserve to be on the album??? I LOVE IT
I love this song too, but I can understand why it wasn't on the album. This song doesn't really mesh well with the rest of the tracks on the album, so it may have thrown off the dynamic of the rest of the album. Either way, both the album and this song are fantastic.

I love this song but I think Keep You is perfectly structured the way it is. I think this song would've brought the already pretty slow and dreary album down even more. That being said, all three Keep You b-sides are as perfect as the songs on the album.
Its a vibe that feels like childhood with all the good times, the doubts and the innocence of the life. Life is so expressive when we stop to look close.

When I saw PBTT live a couple years ago, Kyle sang the first part of the song an octave higher. It gave the song a more raw feeling. Absolutely precious!!

Honestly I am a music guru, my music taste is from the 80s and more and I respect bands from all walks of life, but seriously Pianos Become The Teeth have showcased their maturity on this new album and like others have posted I would love to hear what they do next. These videos from Epitaph showcase what this band is and what they should harness as their new and embraced sound. Great for those who know what music really is and for what this band used to be. They are "racing home" and I can only hope that they continue to produce and create music in their genre. Great music. great lyrics and that can't be said a lot in todays times. Keep it going!!!

anybody have any theories on the song title? why "895"?
895 is a route through Baltimore, Maryland where they're from. This song is about being away for so long from someone you love (while they're out touring and doing band stuff for months on end) and the excitement you feel when you're on your way home from that long trip so you can see your loved ones again. In this case, they see the 895 exit they know they're pretty much home.
