I miss going to shows. 😭 I'm so glad for all the times I got to see this band live. And I'm so glad that April of 2014 when they toured with la dispute I got to see them performing this album before they stopped performing it the following year.
@@faruksho9684 I just meant songs from this album haven't been played live since 2014. After the softer album came out, they no longer perform their post hardcore songs.
I don't disagree but I wouldn't alter the trajection of their sound. I think Drift is an incredibly well thought out and mature record. In a time where there only seems to exist a few lanes of "sounds" for bands to have and keep. For PBTT to lean into post-punk, it was a pleasant surprise. But who knows, maybe 7 albums of this would have been better in ways as well.
