Lyrics
Snapped in half, soaked in fortune torture dreams. It’s alright as long as you fall facing me, touch me, all we are is flood damage in the dark. You can’t fool an honest women, and time won’t slow dance but I think I can trick you into a jig with me. Bring the sand with us to bed, don’t dust your feet, don’t catch me with a drink in hand, just let me fall asleep. I’ve been here, waiting on another dream, come and sneak down so slowly onto me, touch me. I think I can trick you into a jig with me. Bring the sand with us to bed, don’t dust your feet, don’t catch me with a drink in hand, just let me fall asleep.

Genevieve been my jam for the past week. Now this is added in the mix. You guys are my favorite band!
Such a good band. A nice low key, chill track.
One of the only bands that could make this huge of a musical transition, do it incredibly well, and not lose fan base
Morrissey's guest vocals are a nice surprise.
Love the vibe
the drums are so different, loved it!
Hands down my favourite band ❤
Absolutely love this band. Can’t wait to spin this on vinyl! ♥️
Really blown away by this record, think it's their best yet. I try to get people into this band by saying it's like a hardcore version of the national
Am I the only one hearing 'bring the sandwich with us to bed'. Great track
I love this band
PBtT always makes magic
PIANOS BECOME THE SMITHS 🖤
The brass/wind(not sure which) parts of this slap son
❤️🔥 love you guys!
Love it
Relate to this so hard. Gorgeous
Just thank you !!!
Hello from France
Great great music
Thank you Pianos.
Estava precisando da volta de vocês.
Your "liquid courage" is the best, guys!
I can see this being used in a movie, beautiful song
Well Crafted Song! 💯
these guys are really pushing the genre somewhere it needs to go. I like all those bands from that era, Touche, Basement, Citizen, La Dispute, Foxing, Turnover etc. and some rest on the laurels of the sound, others try and get as far away from it as possible, perhaps out of some kind of embarrassment? but PBTT are somehow still a hardcore band to my ears, even if this is nothing akin to hardcore, really. This is just the natural progression of the sound. This album is gonna be swinging for AOTY.
Exactly how I feel about it. Keep You was seriously such a hard turn I think it honestly started swaying others into a more melodic sound.
The best part about PBTT is that once they found their sound with Keep You they've only been refining it. And it just gets better and better. I'm so excited for this record man. I was saying earlier this year how I hoped they would drop new music soon and just yes man.
Ironic how you mentioned Turnover last month when they've just done completely ditched their old sound for utter mediocrity.
listening to it in full for the first time rn. It's still PBTT but more mature. Keep You was a turning point that the genre needed and the band evolved it into something special, impactful, melancholic and yet with the power they alwayy had in them. They are truly the goat in Post-HC in these times.
Amazing
Nice vibe
I feel you man.
wow...so very good
so good
🔥🔥🔥🔥
apaka gandaaaa
Great from Bangkok
Has Kyle been smashing the gym throughout lockdown? Looking trim, Bro.
i wasn’t feeling genevieve much but sure am vibing to this a lot more!
just give genevieve a few more spins, it's brilliant
Cê tá doido
Cool fucking bass lines !!!!
It reminds me to Morrisey❤️
😊
New Smiths album sounds cool.
Tiba tiba muncul di beranda, ternyata musik yg bagus.
Sounds like the Smiths
so beautiful, love from russia❤
Kyle kinda looks like a young Trent Reznor
So, I'm pretty out of the loop, but I take it these guys aren't doing the skramz anymore
🎶🎶❤️💪
So emo🙂
lol
Morrisey? 😮🤣
Definitely hear morrisey vibes in the verses
Long time Pianos fan here and I hate to be critical but this song never goes anywhere. It is beautifully produced but it never does anything. Not every song needs to have an explosive chorus or bridge but this song, as the 2nd single for an album that's two months out, is incredibly boring.
Glad to see I’m not the only one. Perhaps it’s too early to tell what the other 8 tracks sound like. Maybe that’s just wishful thinking
@@pkmnpunkrawk8884 Exactly. I hate to be an angry old head here but cmon guys, these are the 2 singles you chose? And for so many years between records, it's rough. And I love their new direction for the record. I just think there's so much untapped potential here. This song is just proof that boredom does exist in songs.
@@oxeneers The love that I have for this band has influenced me to find every reason possible to like this and so far that hasn’t happened.
There is always a certain level of risks a band takes when changing their direction/sound.
Don’t get me wrong, Pianos I think, has been very successful at that. However, this just isn’t it for me.
@@pkmnpunkrawk8884 So accurately said. This absolutely isn't for me. Will continue to listen but I am not anticipating the late August release (why so long?) but hope that there's something on the full record that I can attach to but we'll see.
Sometimes songs are better in an album setting...
Can you promote more hard rock or metalcore songs pls?
I prefer when you promote stuff like that
You do realize this is a record label with bands signed to it, not Slam Worldwide?
This is not good. Like at all. Been following these guys since the Saltwater EP and every album since was a successful change of pace. But this just ain’t it.
