Awesome place!!!! I was just there this past Saturday! My friend drove from Murrieta and I came from Poway and we met up and spent close to 3 hours at Rojas taking it all in...like you did in your video We were sooo impressed with Carlos and his selection. He was super knowledgeable, friendly, and just an overall great person. Both my friend and I each left with a trunk load of plants and we are already planning a trip back there. I highly recommend Rojas to anyone who wants to support a small family-owned business with an amazing selection and beautiful specimens.

Hi Bobbie -- I imagine you do. Climate is the biggest challenge, even for me, and I live in Southern CA. It's always something...like last night, pounding hail that pitted the leaves of soft succulents.

I agree, Mandy. A friend and I did the same thing---Pat Roach (who helped with the video and is a collector) drove south from Orange County and I drove north from Escondido. Her treasure of the day was a variegated stapeliad (Huernia zebrina 'Variegata').
He’s one of a kind. I really love Carlos how he welcomed his customers. Especially his mom she’s so sweet 🥰 They really give you a great price and you will never regret ending up buying so much 😅

Mary Jane, I'm not kidding, their nursery plants are perfect---which is why I asked what the secret was. I was afraid Carlos might tell me they nuke them with some pesticide regularly. It's so cool that they don't!

Loved this video and your channel. I said, "I want that!" multiple times. And I'm definitely going to try that spray. I have heard of solutions like that being used to water to prevent pest but I don't think they used it every time, more like one a month, I believe.
Whatever they're doing must work. Pretty cool there are no nasty chemicals involved. Most times I've seen nursery plants look that good, it was partly due to being regularly treated with pesticides.
The variety and condition of the plants looks good. How are the prices at Rojas' Nursery.
They seem reasonable to me. Of course rare ones are pricey. I've asked Carlos to reply. Stay tuned!

Beautiful nursery! I’m on the east coast so I have to grow all mine indoors. I have over 200 so I find it much easier and less messy to bottom water my succulents. Any idea if this watering solution would work for bottom watering, sort of as a systemic, or do you think its preventative effects against pests is due to it being used as a topical treatment on the foliage?

We water with this every watering.
@@carloszavaleta34 does the water foam white while watering or am I using too much soap? I am using a hose that pumps the water directly on the plants. I live in Northern CA and we are planning a trip down to visit your nursery. Cannot wait. Thank you
