I own a 750 I have pounded over 3000 2 7/8” pipe any where from 2 1/2’ to 6’. 15000+ T post with no trouble. The ground has varied from solid limestone to dirt even some creek bottoms with round rocks. This pounder is awesome!!!!!
Texas Post Driver recommends the auger option to pilot the hole for MUCH easier driving. Our DIGGA auger is USA made (not Chinese) like "others". We hammer the competition...
Did you find any rock where the 750 model wouldn't drive? Trying to decide if the 750 is sufficient or if I need to spend the extra 2K and get the 1000 model. Thanks
Well, I felt like the 750 was sufficient for what I was doing. And some of the rock we were hitting was causing posts to break. So, I would think the 1000 would only break them more at that point. I would consider the size of posts as one of the biggest deciders. If I was gonna do 6" or bigger I might consider the 1000. We definitely have some places out here where no post is gonna drive all the way regardless of the pounder. Haha
Great crew and work. Good machine operator and muscle dude. Keep going. Only 16 more miles to go.
Right on. Thanks. Always 16 more miles to go...haha 😄

The ground was hard for sure.....haha. Not a bad piece of equipment though. Recommend one for sure. 👍

Where do you buy posts like that?
Are you guys runing a string to keep the posts in line? Maybe i cant see it....
Yeah, there is a string line. 👍
YOU , should be using used oil field steel pipe ! It's obvious those wooden posts aren't working out........
Yeah, we use that pipe often actually. And you're right, the pipe works out better in most places...👍
18 in ground cut it off you going to wear your hydraulics out
