Never Dig Another Fence Post, Rent the Best Post Driver

On the farm really doesn't matter how one gets it done in the end just as long as it gets done. Sure that is true but why dig or auger in hard clay soil's if you don't have too. Rent a post driver and save time digging and backfilling. On a skidsteer we rent this one via our local Mn Equipment John Deere Dealer in Isanti or Rogers Mn and this machine works great. The ability to auger 20 holes, set posts and backfill them use to take 5 hours, now about 2 and we are done with posts and onto the fence itself.

That is a great tool! I always find stuff like this after I no longer need it, dang. I just found out they make gas powered t post pounders. I might buy one just because I hate pounding in t posts with the weighted pipe tool about the same as the thought of sawing my leg off with a chainsaw.. I do have a few railroad ties to put in for my new woodshed I will be building this spring but I will just suffer through with the tractor and auger. Lots of rocks though, lots and lots of big rocks.
