Forma Terra Adventure Motorcycle Boots Review

- Welcome to my first product review. I've decided to review my adventure boots which are black Forma Terra Adventure motorcycle boots. I've owned them since mid 2015 and they have travelled over 25,000 kms with me on my DRZ400e "Dozer".
I couldn't be happier with how they have performed, they are very comfortable and have not split or broken in any way shape or form.

Great, honest, personal experience review. Thank you!
Good one. Keep the reviews coming.
Great review, mate. I’ve just bought a pair of forma adventure boots after watching several owners’ reviews. Ride safe!
Thanks, in still riding with them and will get another pair when these are worn out. But after 6 years they are still going strong. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Time will tell. Time has told. Good review.
Richard Bautsch thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Cheers. 🍻
nice review thanks 🙏 glad the lasted that’s awesome , didn’t even get 12 months out of my fox boots 😢
Thanks. Your review helped a lot. The evo wth the better ankle protection an slightly stiffer sole is on my list.
You’re welcome👍😬
I've just bought the mid-boot version of these after reading and watching many reviews. Hopefully I'll get plenty of miles out of them. Thanks for sharing your experiences!
Mine are still going strong nearly 7 years on, I've worn some of the stitching but got hat fixed at a boot repairer and then they were waterproof again. I'm still very happy.
Thanks mate
Great Aussie vid.
( no WHATSUP !) in the intro.
I think i will get a pair. Onya matey.👍
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it.
Thank you, now I know what to do.
Glad I could help.
I have a pair of short Forma ADV boots, also a pair of long Forma ADV boots, last year I broke my ankle in the VHC as did another 2 guys in our group all wearing Forma long ADV boots. So after I spent a month in a moon boot I went looking for another pair of boots & ended up with Forma Terra evo ADV boots. Bit more support than the ADV boots, still waterproof & nice to walk in.
Hi Kane. Comparing the Evo Adventure boot to the plain adventure as in this video -- How much more difficult is it to walk in the Evo for a few hour walk after a long riding day? I am struggling to find the balance of protection vs comfort.
Cold Gecko little harder but not a great deal, bet to try a pair on & see how you go, I don’t have a problem walking with them but I’m not doing a hike either
I've just bought the Terra evo dry and i felt a I bit dissapointed about their ankle torsion protection. A friend of mine got alpinestars corozal and they look way better in that matter without losing comfort. I cant decide if I keep my formas or get those instead
Great video! I've had my Forma Adventure boots for 4 years now and they are definitely worth the price. Nice review, stay safe and healthy. *T4S*
Sum4Seb thanks for watching, yes they definitely worth the money.
Forma Cape horn's about 3yrs ago. Well worth the money. Soooo comfortable
How is Forma Voyage touring boots?
Cheers for this. Any reports on falls or foot down incidents off road re protection? Thinking of these or the Evos - not sure whether sacrificing the comfort for the extra protection is worth it as I don't do technical off-road (although occasionally gnarly stuff). If you bought new, would you go for the Evos?
I haven’t worn the Evos, they do look the goods. I’d be happy to get the same boots again for adventure riding. I have the Forma Predator for Enduro riding.
@@MileMunchinAdventures Cheers mate
Ei great review. I Just got some forma terra evo low and my toe just touch the cup at the front... (i bough online) could you tell me if they strech a litle bit after some uses?
Yes they have stretched a little in my case, they are very comfortable.
is there any video of the list of spares for the drz you carry along on multiday outback trip? also sprocket combination? I am planning a similar. would be a reference. thanks
zrij21 I haven’t done video on the spares I carry. But a short list is tool roll, front and rear tubes, clutch and front brake levers, clutch cable, front brake cable, spare fuses, nuts, bolts, zip ties, roll tape, lock tight, small hose, battery charger, spar plug, chain link, wire. That’s about it.
Forgot to mention sprocket combination is 15 front 44 back.
@@MileMunchinAdventures Thankyou Man, I appreciate it.
I have forma adventure for less then a year, and it's already leaking at the stiching/seam of its waterproof fabric. My socks got wet after 1 hour riding under heavy rain, exactly at the stiching/seam part (instep and heel).
That's disappointing to hear, both my boots now have stitching issues on the inside of the arch. I am getting them fixed to keep them waterproof. I've had them for over 5 years and they have covered at least 34,000 kms on the motorbike.
@@MileMunchinAdventures shoe goo works awesome for any openings at seams few of my stitchings came loose and toe cap lifted up after 4 years a tad i just used shoe goo and just like factory again water proof / well just spray them with water repelent but seriously who really cares if they get a bit damp . i used to empty a half gallon out of boot and just said oh well it was raining / these boots are awsome
Hey, so my biggest fear is that they will not be comfortable enough to walk around. I have been on a couple of very long tours -- last one was last year and it was 30,000 km from Miami to Thailand. I plan on going on another 40,000km ride after this virus ends... Looking for new boots. But I ride and I also like to tour in my boots -- and I don't want to walk in snowboard boots... How comfy are these after broken in?
Hello Cold Gecko, thanks for watching and sending in a question. I find them to be very comfortable, but I wouldn't want to go on a 5km hike in them. But for walking around at quick stops and walking to waterfalls etc I found them to be very good. For the longer walks I put some tied some shoes on top of my gear for easy access.
@@MileMunchinAdventures Thanks. Have you thought about the Sidi Adventure 2 boot? Those have more protection -- it seems -- and are very popular. They don't look as comfy though -- but I am on the fence between the Terra Adventure and the Sidi Adventure 2.
You may as well wear sandshoes as Forma boots
grANDpa is that because they are so comfortable or because you think they don’t offer much protection?
