the fact that you take time to video and show your appreciation for people that send you mail is awesome. I have learned a lot from your videos and enjoy watching. keep it up guys.
Just an FYI, you may have already known this.. but might save you some headaches and oil leaks.. when putting the plastic tappet cover back on it is imperative to torque back to 18 ft lb. trust me it'll leak if you just "tighten it up".. don't ask me how I know that.. but anyway, it's not fun to have to take the pump back off to fix an oil leak lmao
Love the videos Greg. You are one of the only ones doing diesel vids with entertainment this way. Keep it up. I have been toying with doing a 2nd gen swap but nervous about charger size. I tow usually 5-7K sometimes up to 14K. The truck is 04 SRW 3500 SWB NV5600. Valair ceramic/Kevlar single disc. FASS 95GPH. 3/8" hose all the way to CP3 w/smarty Jr. intake and exhaust. I have concentrated on building for reliability and efficiency. Would these supporting mods be plenty for the s463 I saw in NO BOOST's truck?
Love the videos and keep up the work giving a little info when you turn the fuel screw in the back of the pump it will make your idle go up a little bit
2nd oh yea mmyym yep. Great job Greg And Crew I look forward to your vids everyday. Stoked to see what happens with the 12ver and your 3 rd gen truck are we gonna see it go down the track this summer? Keep up the hard work bud, Graham, Wa.
Why did you not adjust the star wheel for the fuel pin diaphragm? If you screw it in slowly about one turn at a time you can tune how fast the pump goes to full fuel.
hahhahahaah im feeling skinny tony!!!! hahahah I laughed so hard!love he videos man keep them coming! need more with johnny send it! gotta love the scrap truck!
Just wanted to say great videos I look forward to always watching, maybe if y'all have time could y'all do a short video on what y'all have done to yalls transmissions if it's possible
if you look at the top of the throttle shaft there is line cut into it, then if you look at the actual throttle lever there are small little lines groved into it, your suppose to mark them before you take it apart, you may now not get fuel throttle or it may be too much throttle, if u guys ever need a hand with injectors or injection pumps i build em for a living, jesses got my number lol
Take the star wheel and turn it flush take it 2 1/5 turns smoke screw flush and power screw as far as can and bump the time 1/4 of an inch that will bring the truck alive
Not at all. If you want a nice performance bump without buying a new fuel pin or tearing the pump apart to put a gov spring in, go ahead and rotate your stock fuel pin 180 degrees so the steeper side of the ramp is facing towards the front of the truck.
It wouldn't be worth the time and work to see the difference between those two fuel pins. You won't notice any difference. Just get a AFC delete for it and run that. I haven't seen anyone run that on UA-cam yet as far as a vloger
Ok I NEVER express my opinion. But I feel the need when it comes to a nice first gen. Those wheels look like hell and would probably look ok on a second or third gen truck. A first gen is to boxy and need classic wheel or cap like factory. Keep it clean brother!!! Btw I NEVER miss a episode either and keep up the good work!
dude fuck you stock has been done over and over, open your mind to something different. truck purists like u piss me off so damn much. sry if i went off a bit too much i had a bad day lol
It's like Christmas time when Greg A uploads early

Definitely the best Cummins channel on youtube. Got literally all the engines, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gen!

They look killer on there even with the stretch. Keep up the great work!
good videos man keep it up makes me miss my 1st gen shortbed I was building
hahhahahaah im feeling skinny tony!!!! hahahah I laughed so hard!love he videos man keep them coming! need more with johnny send it! gotta love the scrap truck!
What size tire are you running on the 1st gen? On the 20x12's???
Love 12 Valves ! And 10 valve Mercedes, best engines on the planet
Just wanted to say great videos I look forward to always watching, maybe if y'all have time could y'all do a short video on what y'all have done to yalls transmissions if it's possible
Did you make any adjustments to the Star nut inside the with the fuel pin? You can turn that star nut and get more power with that tune!!!!!!
The 1st gen looks sooooo good with those rims!!!
if you look at the top of the throttle shaft there is line cut into it, then if you look at the actual throttle lever there are small little lines groved into it, your suppose to mark them before you take it apart, you may now not get fuel throttle or it may be too much throttle, if u guys ever need a hand with injectors or injection pumps i build em for a living, jesses got my number lol
Love watching your videos
Watching pap scrap series right now
I have a 4bt in a f150 and I have many things based off of 18ftlbs on the small things on the cummins assembly.
what are the light bulbs they all use for there interior cab lights. the ones from Walmart. I can't find them just curious in the brand
I did that with the stock fuel pin just recently out the 40horse pin in !!
Hey there guys how would the rims and tires off the 05 in the garage not the news ones the stock ones just wondering if they would fit or look good
Greg what kind of seat covers are in your truck at that start of the video? Thanks Ian
What's up Greg??? I totally agree with Matthewsboy88.. totally like Christmas time!!!
whoo made it into the mail call on time!
The most diesel adventures of bill and ted
End the videos with "bye see ya bye". Lol
you should put a old 1974 dodge front clip on the first gen it would look good with that hood grille and head lights
Take the star wheel and turn it flush take it 2 1/5 turns smoke screw flush and power screw as far as can and bump the time 1/4 of an inch that will bring the truck alive
I want to a 5.9 diesel swap in my 98 Dodge ram 2500 it has a 10th in it now I am trying to fine out sum information on what need to change
hope I see your First Gen on the road some time soon I'm sure you wont miss my Grill shot.
What mpg do you get in the tow pig when your not towing?
Tyler Lovell I wanna know too lol probably about 18 to 22 mpg
"Buy a 12v they said". Lmao
Didnt you forget the nylon washer under the diaphragm on the fuel pin
I can't wait to see tomorrow video
Are you doing 2 gen lift pump or air dog lift pump upgrade for the 1 gen?
Brandon Overstreet As much as he supports air dog I imagine it will for sure get an air dog of some sort on there
Jeff Smith Yes. I'm curious which route he will go for sure.
"This suit is black... not!" Haha great quote 😂
if its same as jones performance exhaust.....they have great exhaust parts
put 4 wheel disk brakes on the first gen
Would it be a bad thing to run a fuel pin with out the governer spring ?
Not at all. If you want a nice performance bump without buying a new fuel pin or tearing the pump apart to put a gov spring in, go ahead and rotate your stock fuel pin 180 degrees so the steeper side of the ramp is facing towards the front of the truck.
Ive had a fuel pin and gov spring for my truck for like 6 months and I always was too intimidated to do it. Doesn't seem to bed actually !
Just make sure you take out your fuel screw before you put the pump top back on or you will break your AFC lever.
great vid but why not a billet cover?
Make a video on the bike.
Nice!
Tire size?
Love the rims on the 1st gen!! Love your vids!
Takes 13 mil wrench to Ryan.
"Is this covered under warranty?"
".....through me it is."
you guys need a workbench
Greg A deletes is perfect 😂👍🏻
THD Fuel pin > Every other fuel pin.
whats up with that ranger
Blue loctite
Why ain't you doing a lift and mud tires on the first gen
OnwardWarrior18 he said because 2wd
Mabey its just a nice little truck to have. Ever heard of just having a nice truck and not doing shit to it?
haha Greg A Delete love it
It wouldn't be worth the time and work to see the difference between those two fuel pins. You won't notice any difference. Just get a AFC delete for it and run that. I haven't seen anyone run that on UA-cam yet as far as a vloger

Them lug nuts tho 👀
Am I the only one wondering why they aren't p-pump swapping it?
For what reason? Honestly I know you can make more HP but Unless you aim for 400+ is there a reason?
Ape Hoaxman I was thinking parts were most likely cheaper and to kinda knock it out now instead of possibly having to do it down the road.
now Carolina sqaut jk lmfao
sub'd for more 12v maintenance and scrap truck
greg a deletes watsup haha
Rims looks great the stretch really isn't that bad looking
1st! lol. Early video.
just watched this whole video just to see the wheels on the 1st gen, all other stuff wasn't amusing lol
You care way to much what other people think dude it's your truck out what ever rims you want on it
the fact people spend 40 on the most useless pieces of shitt jamhandles amazes me
Right, like you still have to open the door lmfao.
archivaldo yeah like you can't close the door with the same handle you opened it with?
Jam handles 😑😑😑😑😑😑
needs tire stickers
Ri-DONK-ulous. This is a truck. Not a goddam Buick or Chevrolet. Looks like if this truck were run on biodiesel it would be SOY.
Those wheels and tires look horrible!
Too bad jamhandles are the most pointless item ever.
Roal coal
For gods sake man. Leave the fucking truck stock. It looks better that way anyway.
David Vermillion for gods sake man its his truck, he'll do with it what he wants
Life is too short to stay stock!
