I'll be honest, if I was the owner and you made a suggestion regarding soil, the lay of the land, and how it should be built, I'd say: Do whatever you need to do. You are so talented, Chris. It's more than experience. You have an eye for what is best to do and it's so much fun to watch. Thanks for sharing this. I'm looking forward to the next steps.
I enjoy watching you work. You will have two more to watch as I had twin identical twin grandsons on the 4th. Dad will have them in the cab by the time they are 2. They get digging in the dirt from me.
Hey Chris on some of the bigger plants that I've worked on in the past they've had a DC vibrator unit on their equipment it might work on the dump truck to keep the dirt from sticking in it you could put a limit switch on it so when you raise the bed it comes on when you lower it it cuts off
Great job 👍🏻 love how you said shiny and how you liked the material polishing the blade love how the dump truck bed squeaked love how leaves were falling down
Taking shape nicely, your vision his money what else could you ask for.I’m sure customer is quite pleased with your decisions on setting up these barn pads.great work, great video.just keep on doing your thing.be safe.place is changing for the future.😎😎😎👍👍👍
Soup ladle to teaspoon - yes sure makes a difference to the recipe :) Front of pad certainly looks so much better - don't realize until it is removed. Pad looking good. Lots of loads needed but a lovely big borrow pit for 'rubbish'.
Across the road from work they have a bunch of equipment going including a kamatsu D71Pxi. It's doing a really nice job of building the road and building pads. Not sure of the HP rating but it can push some dirt
When time is money, between losing dirt sticking in the Dump, and such a long drive between loads, I'd say, doing all ya can like getting the dirt out of the Dump and getting some dirt off that hillside, is a very smart move !! That job there is giving Ol' Barney a good workout, with the long drive to the borrow pit and back !! Does make the Dozer Blade look good, don't it !! lolol... Got it coming on along Chris !! looking good so far Man !! Have a Great Evening, And On too the Next !!
5 buckets to fill Barney ! Was waiting for the thats it for the day ,and then you normally keep going and spread the loads out ,but not today ,almost being normal and home before Dark ,you know, office hours ha ha .
you are getting so many big jobs you almost need to hire a full time helper get the jobs finished quicker get on to the next one. maybe you could convince timmy to come back lol.
You have a great to know, what for Quality the Earth for sundry Work must have, for the Perfection. Have the Present not the Quality then Mix You different to the Wish Product! Thanks for the Interesting Video. 👌
We know the skidsteer and ruckus rake had to get finished on the farm with Cabin sod install before it came to this site. "Feels like I`m loading with a teaspoon now" - You can`t afford an excavator that make the 350 feel like the Yanmar mini. The owner should let you dig close dirt and save the cost of travel from the pit.
It so nice to see a Let’s Dig 18 video that isn’t polluted by ugly white styrofoam. I can’t watch another one of those.Sorry I will happily watch all the rest!!!
I wonder what it would take to mount a camera to the grade pole on your dozer? It doesn't make sense to shove the same dirt around oacked into your dozer blade either. At least if you could see it, you'd know when to give it a shake.
Do the swing mechanisms on the excavators hold up pretty well? I’ve not seen where anyone has had to repair them. I assume that would be a costly repair.
I kind of chuckled at the idea of the 220 feeling like you were loading with a teaspoon, any rate, I found it amusing, some teaspoon that is!!!😊😂😂😂. Thanks for the update, enjoyed watching.
In the beginning there was . . . nothing. And god said, "Let there be light" . . . and there was still nothing . . . but by golly you could sure see it!
I was thinking that with all the new chemical materials that someone would come up with a spray on liner that was slick as glass for those by now. Of course the guys scraping out with a bucket would scratch that up but there should be a way. Some sort of ceramic based coating like they have for skillets now.
Mon partenaire pensait qu'il serait romantique de m'emmener en week-end. C'était charmant jusqu'à ce qu'il se rende compte que j'avais emporté plus d'en-cas que de lingerie. Les priorités, n'est-ce pas 😘

Absolutely
You got a good eye for getting the best dirt to use for your projects
That little dozer sure earns it's keep!

Another great video from this project and sounds like another toy will be there to help smooth things out. Safe travels. Ken.
That blade is so polished!!
Nice by getting the dirt from different areas you mix them together and come up with a very solid pad.
Like the video Chris and like to watch you work with your machines .
I don't know what it is, but watching you loading Barney with the 350 is so relaxing after working all day.
This job is moving right along. Wish you had a driver. Thanks for the video. Have a good evening.
I’m a bit late but thanks for the recent video that you kindly included your gorgeous Dalmatian dog , it really was great to see him again .
Great job 👍🏻 love how you said shiny and how you liked the material polishing the blade love how the dump truck bed squeaked love how leaves were falling down
Thank you 👍
Thank you and have a great day.

Your videos are always so heartfelt and fun at the same time! Thank you for your ability to bring joy and smiles into our lives!🖼🔴⛷
Watching you dump the dirt and grade it out is a lesson in efficiency!! Someone’s put in some time to think about the work needed!!
Good morning Chris and Robert trust you had a great weekend at least its dry fingers 🤞
Nice video Chris.

You always have good ideas. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

That ol 350 is sure making quick work on the last few jobs you have done, would have taken quite a bit more time with the 220! Nice work!
THANKS!

I think you need a lowboy and semi next.
The. Big job sharing up
Com'n BARNEY , Let'sDIG (see what I did there)🤭

MM77 Approved 👍🏼 👍🏼
Hey Chris, I have a quick question; What is that chime or tone given off by the excavator every so often?? Thanks....Spotted you on tiky toky...😂
Cris man that dozer is a lot louder than johns
Have we got a big project coming this winter

Chris, do you play horseshoes? All that red clay would make a beautiful pit! And did you name the new grader yet?
Hi ChrIs.....Can I ask what is the capacity of that big bucket? In volume and weight. Ray.
Hindle, England UK.
Shiny blades mean stuff's getting done. That's a single axle dump truck load stuck in the bed of Barney.
How much do you miss that 550 rental. 😊

what happened to the first Volvo haul truck you had in 2016

Checkout Mega Machine channel. He has had several videos on repairing swing mechanisms.

A very expensive teaspoon 😆 🤣
That clay you have there is something else. The weight of itself packs it that hard into the bottom of the haul truck.
yeah its shiny alright its called WEAR.

Volvo might want to devel a self cleaning truck

Hey I kept yelling at you that you had a lot of dirt on your blade but for some reason you couldn’t hear me😂
Why don't you bring your uncle in to help with your jobs?
You need a man behind the seens like Dirt Perfect.
Movin dirt!
