Despite what the tiktokers think, it isn't giving them a tan, just turning them orange. You'll still get very burnt with or without the carrot orange skin.
Yes it can make you orange I don’t know about tan, my husband used to eat only carrots and a lot of them for his eye and it literally turned him into a carrot 🥕
My brother turned orange as a child because we grew carrots and bought carrots and he LOVED carrots and basically... he ate (I am not kidding) 25-30 full size carrots a day. Mom took him to the doctor because his skin was changing color and the doctor was like 🤷🏻♀️ until my brother told him how much he loved carrots in casual conversation and the doctor was like "Eh, uh... he only gets to eat 5 carrots a day and he'll stop changing color"

I love carrots but that's not the reason why I tan so easily The reason why I tan so easily is because I have a lot of Indian in my bloodline a lot like I'm pretty sure I'm like half Indian a little bit less than that though
