This place is gonna be gnarly. The planet aquarium tank is gonna be sick ! I’m currently building a 200 gallon from planet as well. Can’t wait to see how this place progresses in the future.
I admire everything that you do and the studio definitely reflects your passion for the ocean. I'm trying to maintain four tanks with a limited budget, a very demanding autistic child(whom I love because he appreciates the tanks as well); however seeing all your hard work let's me dream of the wonders that can be😊👍.
DAAAM!!! Guess you wont live enough to complete the studio all by your own (🙄). Im from Argentina, but if you’re willing to have a young padawan and apprentice, im willing to leave everything and start as soon as possible. You’re living the dream, good luck!
So happy to see that planted tank and I'm hoping you'll sneak another one sonewhere, however the place looks awsome can't wait till the next update!😍✌🌿🍃
Looks awesome. The most important thing in there is the couch. :) Should have been an L shape for when your buddies come over to have a few drinks. Seriously though, really nice, man.
Soooooo many tanks!! Super jealous! I'm hoping to get a large tank, but until then my 5 gal has to do lol Can't wait to see a proper display tank and keep up the awesome vids brotha!
Wow awsome stuff. The larger flagship tanks will be a great vid series.. hopefully you can do some different cool out of the box aquascapes : ) ps the autofocus was very distracting and hard to watch.
Beautiful looking studio!!! What tank or brand is the tank than is sitting on top of your stock tank with the AI Prime HD lights on it? I'm sure you have a video out there about that tank. I love the size, shape, and shallowness of it. But I would love any of your shallow tanks! All the ideas running through my head!
Love your videos but this is so hard to watch with the camera constantly switching focus between you and things behind you. We can hear you just fine, maybe you dont have to be in frame the whole time???
Lololol I won’t hate on him because he’s successful doing what he’s doing but it sure would be nice if the video focused more on the studio and systems than his face. If you want to be on camera that’s fine but use a tripod or a cameraman. I’m in this “millennial” generation and I just don’t get this narcissistic selfie, hashtag, snapchat, hold my phone above my head instagram crap. Good content regardless, you do you. Just maybe next video manually focus on your face when you want to show that off and the tanks when you wanna show those. It hurts my eyes to watch the constantly changing focus.
Talk about the light bill🤔 Mr. Adams , everything looks awesome. Your chalices arwnt doing good in that massive tank, funny my pico fluval 2.6 gallon monster is killing hammers but chalices acros and everything else is thriving minus the hammers. Need some help
Jake, I've liked you for many years, attended a couple of your speech's at a LFS and love your new studio. But please,...either slow down on your selfie when panning etc, or get a friend to record you. When you have fast movements it gives people like me and others a headache. Therefore, it's difficult for some of us to watch your wonderful video's. Best Regards, Kevin
Reef Builders sure you will be fine you’re a natural at this and I enjoy all your videos and learn things all the time, thanks to yourself.keep up the good work my friend.
Amazing is an understatement! but am I the only one who thinks stop buying and start them all up 😋 I mean that in a good way, the suspense is killing me :) Greetings from the Netherlands
lol its rude to ask. I was just shocked at how high mine went from just a 55tall w/ sump and 25g qt tank. both are lit and well circulated. I'd get more but just can't do it.
@@ReefBuildersVideo my present tank is on wooden stand with waterproof ply wood. It will be 8 years old tank coming Jan. The wood in the stand is now starting to swell. So thinking of getting something like Iron or steel. Iron stand, I'll be painting it with GI coating and anti rust paint.
Congratulations on a job well done. I love to look at the coral tanks. I'm into planted aquariums and if you have some spare time take a look at my UA-cam channel. Thanks for sharing.
With the kind of investment you are making its a shame you did not do anything with the floor before starting the studio. A bit of self leveling can usually fix floors but at over an inch in just 6ft I would have some serous concerns about the structure. If its a local issue self leveling fill might still work but if the entire floor is on that kind of slope I would get that looked at before you get much farther into the project.
Whoa, what an update, even the echo is much better and that 400 is going to be SWEET!! Keep 'em coming!
Well done Jake, looking good. Lots of work to come which is exciting!
Looks great thanks for the tour and update... some Awesome tanks, cant wait to see them running
Such an awesome space! I look forward to all of the future videos!
Unreal update Jake! Keep up the good videos!

Everything looks awesome!
WOW! that studio is coming along amazingly. It's like a playground full of the most fun stuff ever! :-)
Great enthusiasm Jake!
You are the definition of dreams come true. Keep up the good work my friend!!!
Killing it man, absolutely killing it! So many emotions about your studio! Excited, envious, impatiently waiting! Keep doing what you do!

Dude studio is rely starting to come together, fucking killing it 👌
Dude. You’re killin it man
This didnt age well
Totally awesome. Well done on all the work so far.
Love the updates!
This studio is so amazing!!!
love it, awesome work. im sitting here in my small new york apartment with a 10 gallon and 5 gallon tank lol. keep posting up videos of new progress.
Love the studio Jake keep the updates coming.
Great to see another update Jake...thanks for sharing...
This place is gonna be gnarly. The planet aquarium tank is gonna be sick ! I’m currently building a 200 gallon from planet as well. Can’t wait to see how this place progresses in the future.
Congratulations! You are a lucky man!
Best of luck!
Luck AND a lot of HARD work
This is paradise!
You are going to need a pump and a 300 foot hose to directly fill all of these separate tanks with water changes etc.. Looks amazing.
The progress is awesome....looking amazing. Cannot wait for some of those larger tanks to come online :)
Looks awesome man! I'm digging the way your creating separate area n such. Nice to see some coral too lol.
Another Colorado reefer here! I would love to see the studio in person sometime!
WOW ! Very Exciting ! I'm waiting with bated breath
Thanks for the update. Looking forward to video on coral and to see that new tank. Hope you're having a great day and staying warm bro! ✌
Definitely a good looking studio
That was a lot of updates. It is looking really nice!
DAAAM!!!

Man you are one busy happy man dude! Reef out ! It’s super rad 🤙
What your doing is my dream set up. I'm so jealous. Sweet set up man. Keep doing what your doing. Love the updates
looks amazing
Beautiful studio.
That water box is my favorite, been wanting one for a while.
So happy to see that planted tank and I'm hoping you'll sneak another one sonewhere, however the place looks awsome can't wait till the next update!😍✌🌿🍃
You are doing an awesome job on the studio! keep up the great work. I👊👍
money money money man you got it. you wont need to go to the ocean ever. you have one there
Looking good Jake, still jealous of all that space to work with, while I still try to shoe horn a 200g and 40g tank into my tiny basement :D
I really enjoy the type of music that you put into your videos. Will you share how you find the audio?
First the water tank stand and now the unlevel floor. You need a carpenter friend
Best reefing channel on UA-cam.
Gee whiz .... when the place is done it’s going to be amazing .... might need a bigger studio 💥. love it keep up the awesome work.
This one is plenty big, there will be plenty of designated empty space to appreciate the tanks
WOW that's a lot of things going on, congratulations for your updates and new projects. I would like to see one those aquariums keeping NPS corals 😎
Looks like your having so much fun !! Looks great can’t wait for more. Would be good to see more plants too make it look less warehouse esc
Jake, love your videos! Have you considered doing some coral reef biotopes in the studio? It would be interesting to see the diversity by region.
Looks awesome. The most important thing in there is the couch. :) Should have been an L shape for when your buddies come over to have a few drinks. Seriously though, really nice, man.

Awesome progress! Not sure if anyone's asked but are you gonna do anything with the floor?
Taper cut 2x or 4x stock.to match the floor, paint em white, and put the stand on top, you'll never notice and it will be sound structurally
The tanks just blow my mind!! I'd need 3 more jobs lmao, all the toys to play with you could ever want. Some.setup, props
Please make a display refugium tank, Ive seen some beautiful ones and think it would be a great addition to your studio! Great progress and video!
Amazing!!!
Wow awsome stuff. The larger flagship tanks will be a great vid series.. hopefully you can do some different cool out of the box aquascapes : )
ps the autofocus was very distracting and hard to watch.
How about a big planted tank, featuring George Farmer. Great videos really enjoy your work. Also what is more important a thumbs up or just a view?
Send the chalices to me! They thrive under my burnt out AI Vegas ; ) Keep the Vlogs rolling!

What is this? Work place? Man Cave? Massive reef room? UA-cam production place? Business Place? I guess everything combined!
Yes
This is incredible...how are you funding all this?
very creatively
Thanks Jake.
Hey Jake studio coming along great
Congratulations everything is looking great! Have you check my reverse Blue hippo?
No, where?
You got a lot going on.
Dream level!!!
I wish to own a reef studio in the future!!!Love from🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾
Love your videos but this is so hard to watch with the camera constantly switching focus between you and things behind you. We can hear you just fine, maybe you dont have to be in frame the whole time???

Jake , don’t fill up the entire space so early :-) . Great layout , looking forward
Awesome update!

I want to setup 6 of those racks exactly like that just with heavy UV as well.
if I was really passing lots of fish through these like an LFS, UV would be very useful but my fish acquisitions will be much fewer.
Ask someone to make you a flat cemented concrete platform.
is that a thing?
@@ReefBuildersVideo just screw together a square wooden form, fill and seal the gaps at the bottom and pour in self leveling cement. easy peasy.
Awesome😬
Where did you get the coral flat tanks at??
Julian sprung can help u out with that hair algae set up a good refugium
Would be awesome to have more vids on fish soon
Just got a few basic fish today so the rack will get an update soon with inhabitants etc.
In the video the background is mega flashing when its focust on you.. not nice to watch :(
Aquarist first, cameraman not even second, i'll keep working on the style so hang in there.
Will you get your investment back Jake?
Looking good very clean and tidy
That ultimately depends on how many of you watch my videos, but I'm doing this for the love first, and hoping not to go broke in the end.
Reef Builders sure you will be fine you’re a natural at this and I enjoy all your videos and learn things all the time, thanks to yourself.keep up the good work my friend.
What paint did you end up using the the metal stands?
Yeah, thanks Jake
Amazing is an understatement! but am I the only one who thinks stop buying and start them all up 😋 I mean that in a good way, the suspense is killing me :) Greetings from the Netherlands
Cool peace and blessings
That autofocus is killing me man!
You look link the smiling Cat from Alice in Wonderland
Was it the beers or the buds that put that look in your 👀
Neither - this time - just pure excitement for sharing the project with you guys
Will your studio ever be open to the public?
only on VERY special occasions, maybe once or twice a year.
Reef Builders cool, at least do it occasionally cause it would be awesome to see it in person sometime. Maybe like an open house
😭😢😭😢😭😢😭😩
I'm dying to know your monthly power bill once things are a
set up. and cost of additives including salt lol
You and me both
lol its rude to ask. I was just shocked at how high mine went from just a 55tall w/ sump and 25g qt tank. both are lit and well circulated. I'd get more but just can't do it.
is the studio going to be a shop?
No the studio is . . . A studio
Jake what do you suggest for a Saltwater tank? Wooden or iron stand coated with GI paint?
That's up to you but definitely not pure iron, NaCl will eat that up
@@ReefBuildersVideo my present tank is on wooden stand with waterproof ply wood. It will be 8 years old tank coming Jan. The wood in the stand is now starting to swell. So thinking of getting something like Iron or steel. Iron stand, I'll be painting it with GI coating and anti rust paint.

What purpose is this studio going to be when all said and done?

No I’m in Colorado
