- Tatu City has publicly shamed and condemned Kiambu County Governor Wamatangi over extortion but Kimani Wamatangi is telling them to either apologize for false claims or go to court?
Is this the way to go?

That is exactly how I felt!!

Wamatangi and waiguru need to be in prison for all they have grabbed from Kenya. How can waiguru afford two big coffee shops in USA??? This should be investigated!! Parliament should be dissolved too! Well done Lyne for your great work ❤
NYS funds👌
I think we should also do some inner work. I will never forget how it felt to watch her get elected at kirinyaga right after her scandal.. My jaw is still on the ground to date. Lol. how even our own President was voted in.. he also faced corruption accusations at some point..
It is never ending and when will they be held accountable? It is beyond tragic! Prison and freeze their accounts globally.
@@thatchiqfaye9154that was a let down
What are the names of her coffee shops?
Foreigners or not , that land gained value when they the foreigners acquired it . They paid for it . Let Wamatangi stay off private property.
Governers house may be unnecessary because they can live at their homes. But other public amenities are necessary. 2 acres of land for one persons house surely? Where those wazungus live, there is no such kind of opulence lifestyle at the expense of common man.
Hope with time hope we will hear more from both sides.
Anyway most public offices are very corrupt in Kenya. I remember three years ago I wanted to do some building work in Kariobangi. Nothing could be done until I met area chief and sub chief and give them their hongo. Otherwise they told me all building materials will be stollen. I wanted to give it via mpesa and then snitch on them but they insisted I pay them via mzee wa nyumba kumi. I really told that kijana mzee wa number kumi off..
After that, they called Council znd NEMA officials on me. I had met all requirements but they wanted 500k as well. I sent someone else to bargain and said they must talk to me. My representatives called me and I didn't know they were listening. I was soo shocked and angry at the amount of money they wanted. I told him to look for a buyer and sell the land because that was crazy amount of money. I also said that I was suffering from Corona and I would love to meet them and pass it on to them before I die. When they heard that they said I give them whatever I could afford at that time but watarudi baadaye.
Corruption in Kenya is unofficially official wherever you go. It's hard to do as the bible teahes where honesty is concerned. Mungu tusaidie
@@PriscillahMwangi what about the future generations, long after you are gone. Whom did you delegate express authority to? They become gobo at home!
@dicksonnjuguna81 what are you talking about? So how will Wamatangi extorting investors help future generations? If it's providing public amenities that's okay. But not surrendering land to the governor.
@dicksonnjuguna81 We live abroad and own property here!! As long as the law has allowed foreigners, residents, and citizens to own property, everyone should be accorded their rights.
@chrisamoi8663 But that was for the land for the Governors Mansion going forward, not his residence! By all means, let us jail him if he is corrupt. I am only looking for accountability either way.
Dissolving the cabinet is not enough, Ruto is just trying to act smart to silence Gen Z.

The entire shady government must resign. Ruto and the county governments, Mps and senators. We need to go back to the ballot
Why do we need to construct governors houses in the first place?
We are already providing security for these people....let them live in their own houses,if they don't have homes then let them take personal mortgages.
These houses come with additional costs-land purchase, building, renovations, employees to maintain the houses etc.
Tired of wastage in this country.

@@victorotieno65yes and there are Kenyans in slums others hungry and homeless and governors who are meant to provide good government in their sphere of influence want to live in mansions. This is very wrong 😢
This has been a problem for a long time. A lot of foreign investors do not invest in Kenya due to these kind of stuff. Happened to Nike when they wanted to bring a shoe manufacturing company here. It instead went to Vietnam. Shame on our officials.
Those in the diaspora too ...they get scared ... horrible
Happened to Samsung too
Alafu we are here jobless. May Every one who has beem frustrated shame these people in public.
😭😭😭😭😭😭
We are better off without them. Every foreign corporation has left a trail of mayhem wherever they invested. Cost of living goes up, low wages, pollution of environment, carcinogenic and pfas forever chemicals spewed in the local waterways and in the air. They are given 20 years tax breaks and thereafter move to a new country after making astronomical profits. While indigenous businesses pay taxes from the first day of operation.
Unfortunately, this is the truth. Especially for us in diaspora. It’s a nightmare!
No lies told. I’d love to invest back home lakini, you have to bribe everyone from the bottom to the top to do any kind of business back home! It’s such a shame the culture of ‘toa kitu kidogo’ is astonishing. We need to do better!
True tried to invest but the process of buying any property is a nightmare and 50/50 they either don’t have the title or they will provide in 6 months,no one knows who owns the land
Now we talking am a proud Kenyan today. Wamatangi's days are numbered.

Why do you think he is guilty and not the other party?

Infact without permission.
But Kiambu people are not yet tired. If we were truly tired, we would have done something about it. Show me a county with more pathetic roads, zero development, garbage littered everywhere, hospitals are a far cry from what they used to be. Kiambu has a long way to go
Other local and foreign investors who are being frustrated out of kickback should all alarm. Kenya is changing through gen Z to the best. Bravo Gen Zs.
But we should be aware of them coz they invest and take the lion share of profits it should be 50/50 if not acha ikaae coz land ni yetu

When the Tatu City Developers where allocated the land, wasn't the County aware that they'll need some land to do those items they just listed on the memo? This is another way of frustrating the developer until they cave in. It is unfair because Tatu might have paid for the entire land for development and if Tatu cave in and give that land to the County as requested, is the County going to reimbuse money to Tatu equal to the value of the requested land? This doen't make any sense.

Kenya's moment of God's glory. The beginning of a great revival I may say. I have always prayed for God to have mercy on kenya by redeeming the country from eminent collapse. @GSM888 Please report the matter to the Ombudsman office (Office of administrative justice). The Commission investigates matters pertaining to MALADMINISTRATION (Improper Administration) in the Public Sector (Government departments). Maladminstration inckudes complaints about delay, abuse of power, unfair treatment, manifest injustice and even discourtesy (rudeness). Also, The Commission has the mandate of overseeing and enforcing the implementation of the Access To Information Act, 2016.
The Ombudsman office in Kenya was set up in 2011. Its origins lie in Sweden, and it has been replicated in other parts of the world.
Sadly, very few Kenyans know about the Ombudsman office, even worse there are few smarty pants who act as brokers (charge people to forward their complaints to the Ombudsman).
Write to the Ombudsman (they take submissions ONLINE) and tell them of the difficulties (delay) you have experienced in regards to your ID application from the Ruiru office. They will write to that department asking for answers.
Most bureaucrats in Kenya get away with murder because Kenyans never WRITE in to complain. But the moment a letter arrives, things begin to move because said bureaucrat doesn't want their personnel file sullied.
Instead of complaining amongst ourselves, Kenyans must complain using the right channels!!
Write in and then write back and let us know how it goes!!
Lynn true Gen z, when history will be written, you will be counted in.
This is how God has shone how he can fight for this beautiful country from this evil n awful politicians.i salute our youth (gen z) for seeing far n God intervention thru them so that they can rescue this country.
