I started adapting a minimalist lifestyle very recently, learning minimalist lifestyle right here on you channel and a ton of other has really inspired me, and for the few months that I have started I have really see a change not only on my perspective to life and all the things around me but also a chance to get to know myself better. I come from a Latino background (from Dominican Republic) and for us having more means we are worthy or that we have more than other. Growing up with this mentality was very unhealthy and it drained my souls to the fullest. I am glad that I was able to get out of that mentality and that way of thinking and living. Now I feel happier I live in New York City but I bought land in the Dominican Republic a town area, where I can breath fresh air, rivers around the are, beach and I can live a peaceful life with less! As soon as I finish my house and save some money I am moving. (In DR you don’t need much to live good compare to the US) Thanks to all the UA-camr and people that really put their hearts into helping other achieve that free mind.

I went on a two week Colorado road trip with my husband a few years ago. It was a stunning place, but we struggled with the dry air. We live in the Caribbean, where it’s very humid. We even drove to the top of Pikes Peak. Your videos are great and very inspirational

austin williams field trip..full time bonus . I did to go to gym.I learned that running 5 miles doing (5) navy seal burpees at each stop sign covers a full body workout.then i just go to different towns to change up the workout. it wont be long now until your an episode of S park.

I'm just catching up on some of your older videos.This was a fun and interesting glimpse into your life. You are lucky to live in an area with such stunning scenery so close to home. I agree with you that time in nature is really important as it is our natural state. It is accessible even in the heart of cities or suburbia. Just stepping out the door and feeling the breeze, the temperature of the air, the sun, looking at the sky, watching ants or birds go about their business are all great ways to get out of your head and enjoy the diversity and wonders of the world we live in.
Fun video My husband and I went for a long hike this morning, we live very close to the mountains in upstate SC. We packed a lunch from home, and sat at the top of our favorite spot, ate lunch and talked. We took 3 hrs to unplug, unwind, and just bond. It was so relaxing and enjoyable. Didn't spend a dime and had a wonderful time. Being frugal doesn't have to be boring. Life is what you make it!
My life is very similar but I use a bicycle. You are a great teacher I love your videos! My gym is outside and I love it! I always say my gym has unlimited space. I enjoy running I’m not a weight lifter. Thank you for showing us your typical day.

I live in a country in a Southern African country , with a population of only 2.1 million people , with a land area of 824,292 km², scorching heat, and my capital is mountainous, with beautiful orange red sunrises & sunsets .. you just struck a cord! I was in awe when I heard the birdsong( Townsend solitaire, blackthroated swifts, spotted towhee, etc.) And you are right on the money! I live in the mtns, so beauty is right out my window- it's nice that it is all w/in walking distance & I'm not having to use gas to get to my destination... however i wouldn't mind being a van-lifer one day.

This was a fun and enjoyable video. I too, try to live the frugal lifestyle and I normally spend a least some time everyday in my backyard to take in the mountain view and to look at the beautiful pool that I will start to go into more often, now that the weather will start to get a little better. My father actually lives in a similar manner in his retirement.

I lived in Telluride, Colorado for few months and I visited Garden of the Gods and it is amazing. I couldnt find a place to live in Colorado Springs so I came to Maine instead

I work parttime and everyday after work I take a long hour and a half walk and chill out in the many green areas in my city. It's free and it's wonderful to work out and be outside for an extended period.

Wish I had payed attention to my paychecks years ago. I now am being very frugal. I am a senior. You should do a video on senior savings. For instance, seniors can go to certain stores and get a senior discount on certain days. 😃
Colorado looks really beautiful! I'm a very passionate cyclist, and I enjoy taking my bike and riding from my home (no car usage involved) to the countryside and the hills with my friends (I live in Italy), and watch the beautyful landscape... how much does this kind of entertainment cost? Almost nothing... If I would ever come to visit USA, I definitely would go to Colorado, Montana, and the beautiful natural areas, instead of visiting the busy cities. Colorado seem quite a heaven for cyclists: dry weather is much better for sports!

I really enjoyed the vlog! Thank you for showing us what you do during your free time. I have been going to the gym consistently 6-7 days a week since June and I have lost 35 pounds! I am still 120 pounds overweight, so I will keep being consistent. I have found a new appreciation for health and healthy foods. I get really hot easily and I can't wait to lose the rest of the weight so I can function like a normal person and not be sweating as soon as I walk away from an air conditioned room. I live with my parents and we keep the temperature at 79 degrees, which I still find to be a little hot in southern CA. AC is really expensive. What temperature do you keep your house at? I know some people keep their houses at 72-75 degrees. I feel like my house is a little too hot lol.
Oh gosh, grout hell on that counter :). Sorry, but lived with a counter like that for almost 20 years with several children. Just had to comment - video on how you keep that clean because I sure never figured thst one out!

Loved, loved, loved this video. More like this please. That park with the views and birdsong, would hit the right note with me too. The heat would be a bit much for me, I’d be passing out! I’d go early or when it is cooler in the evening. Lovely to see what some of Colorado looks like, thanks for being our tour guide. I love my library too, perhaps you could do a library haul sometime of your favourite non fiction books or even fiction, I would not mind. Loved the cooking, I’ve never eaten plantain, I might give it a try, does it taste of banana? we have an ethnic food shop near us that stocks amazing stuff, it’s like you are in a supermarket on holidays in a different country. Great singing too, wish I had a note in my head!! It’s brilliant you can relax with your guitar. Keep up the great work Austin. More vlogs please.
Loved seeing your simple day. One of the simple aspects of my day was mending my garden fence and picking tomatoes.

It's delicious! Another great side dish is called "patacones," which is delicious. I recommend looking up that as it's super easy to make!

Wish I had payed attention to my paychecks years ago. I now am being very frugal. I am a senior. You should do a video on senior savings. For instance, seniors can go to certain stores and get a senior discount on certain days. 😃

Colorado looks really beautiful! I'm a very passionate cyclist, and I enjoy taking my bike and riding from my home (no car usage involved) to the countryside and the hills with my friends (I live in Italy), and watch the beautyful landscape... how much does this kind of entertainment cost? Almost nothing...
If I would ever come to visit USA, I definitely would go to Colorado, Montana, and the beautiful natural areas, instead of visiting the busy cities. Colorado seem quite a heaven for cyclists: dry weather is much better for sports!
There is quite the bike riding scene here! You have to drink tons of water living here, but I like the dryness!!

I really enjoyed the vlog! Thank you for showing us what you do during your free time. I have been going to the gym consistently 6-7 days a week since June and I have lost 35 pounds! I am still 120 pounds overweight, so I will keep being consistent. I have found a new appreciation for health and healthy foods. I get really hot easily and I can't wait to lose the rest of the weight so I can function like a normal person and not be sweating as soon as I walk away from an air conditioned room. I live with my parents and we keep the temperature at 79 degrees, which I still find to be a little hot in southern CA. AC is really expensive. What temperature do you keep your house at? I know some people keep their houses at 72-75 degrees. I feel like my house is a little too hot lol.
My house doesn't have air conditioning! Most houses don't in Colorado, but I have a swamp cooler! Congrats on your fitness journey!!
