I spray paint mine with white, matte spray paint, then use can snow. That way you don't have to use as much can snow to get the tips white. Use the faux snow to add clumps/texture.
I bought a can of the Santa fake snow spray after Christmas for 90% off I only paid .59 cents for it. I plan to flock a few artificial wreaths before I decorate. I hope the spray does not come off.
wow, what a steal. Wish I could have found that. For artificial, just note that when you break it down, some will come off. The following year, you will probably have to spray it again, at least a little bit.
Yes, it's a real tree. Dug out of the ground myself. As for artificial, it would work but probably would only be good for one season as when you moved it to pack it up, a lot of the material would come off. So the following year you would need to touch it up. Hope that helps 🎄

I found the only problem with that stuff is it stinks the next year. I would only do it on a real tree because you throw that away.
