FOXY!! great videos and you are one of my favorite creators. I have a couple of gems for you to TEST !! 1. We were in live today and noticed that we only needed one Power Pip to power ballistic weapons leaving extra power for shields and engines. This begs the question--- How many pips does it take to power one or 2 (laser) guns??? Is a mix of lasers and ballistics the way to go now? Or all ballistics on bigger ships??? 2. FUN TEST. We were on a Zeus and I stored the ship while my co-player was still in the Zeus. It did not kick him out!!! He went all the way to the bottom of the hangar and was trapped. The ship despawned / disappeared and he was running around looking for an exit. There was none. I then called up a Titan the trapped player came up with the hangar.
Another great video Foxy! The fact that you destroyed the pirates, recovered the cargo that was shot off and then able to sell it all was a big surprise! I hope it's not too long before we have Players and NPC's using ARGO Tractors to load cargo. 😁👍
We did a couple of runs as a group this last weekend. We did run into a little issue. The person that grabs the mission is the only person who can call cargo services and get the square for loading and off loading. They are also the only person who can see it. For Example: If Foxy grabs the mission and shares it with me; I can not see the square to be able to help. I can not call cargo services to load or unload either. I hope they fix this soon so a fleet of us can do runs for each other in different places.
very awesome ship, feel like its going to arise like a phoenix in the future. right now very limited gameplay, but this and the rest of the bigger hulls will be invaluable for a big org in the future when more things are released.
I tried to do a commodities trade today using starlifter and was unable to sell at the destination..but it did load the ship correctly...the ramps however are broken and cause the ship to dance around as they go lower than the gear now...sigh..
My question is, did they fix the spawning in of the Hull C? I was never able to spawn it planetside and on stations it was either too far or too inside the station.
It wasn't missing one piece. It always counts until the mission is finished. If you hand in a mission on an elevator in one load, it says 0/x boxes. If you hand it in in two loads, for example 10 boxes each, then it will say 10/20. It doesn't update the counter when the mission is concluded with the submission. It is odd that it didn't count it in 32 intervals, but maybe the Hull C transfer doesn't work in the units the big boxes work.
I tried several times yesterday to dock to Seraphim and CRU-L1. The docking bubbles/interface does NOT work. With all three green, I could not have been more out of position to link to the docking port. This was on LIVE though...
The workaround, I suppose, is to collapse the ship and land on the external pad to buy. The do it again after you unload in order to sell. The other major problem with the Hull-C from my experience is pulling the ship from the ASOP only to have the docking lounge door to the ship locked.
I'm done with the Hull C, the game has eaten 4 of the last 5 runs I've tried to do with it. Hours of my life wasted because the game will refuse to launch the ship, or spawn the ship in the station geometry, because cargo services refuses to acknowledge my existence, etc.
Could you do a test on whether coolers have any effects in 3.24.2? I tried to turn them all off in the PTU and it looked like nothing was affected at all.
Yeah these missions are still borked. I've tried 5 today and not one worked. 1st mission I went to the pickup and got the countdown and they just wouldn't put the cargo on my Hull C. 2nd mission exact same as 1st mission. 3rd mission, the cargo pickup box wouldn't appear even though one had be allocated to me. 4th mission, I was able to collect the cargo and upon getting inside the dropoff box they impounded my Hull C before I even got a timer for the transfer. 5th I had a 2470scu pickup and it went well until I got to the dropoff. I parked up and they took the cargo BUT the mission amount only registered 6scu out of the at least 2000scu that I had on board...
Like every patch, the Hull C worked for a few hours. Now, the ship gets impounded randomly when waiting for the cargo services to respond, and it respawns in the hangar in the fully extended mode which causes it to get stuck. And I lost 700k because cargo services never responded.
Cargo loading is still broken for me. I spawned my Hull C, picked up 5 direct solar missions from Baijini point. When I made it to Baijini, I contacted cargo services. They gave me a cargo loading zone, which I entered just after my cargo spindles were 100% extended, and stopped inside of it. After about 30 seconds of the cube telling me to stop moving, it finally realized that I was stationary, and told me that it was loading cargo, with a 00:08 second timer. The cube disappeared, but the timer remained, locked at 00:08 seconds. I waited for 10 minutes, with zero progress on cargo loading. I cycled power, I extended and retracted the spindles inside and outside of the cube, I landed on a pad to make sure the station recognized me, I got in and out of the seat, I switched master modes, I fired my weapons, I tried literally everything I could, and I could NOT get cargo to load. This was in 3.24.2 LIVE, on a EU server. This ship is not fixed.
Something I noticed last night after waiting 45 minutes to log in. I could not take my Hull C on a cargo run without having a mission, I tried going to Magnus to make a run of helium to serafin but was not allowed to make the purchase. Is anyone else seen this?
Does the Hull C Work? Of course it doesn-waitwhat? That actually looks like it would be something fun to do co-op. Bring a gunner, or an escort, and then of course end up not running into pirates lol. Still cool to see the thing working. Hope it's consistent, or gets there.
Hull A's animation never worked when I tried to close it only open, never tried the Hull C but I'm glad that CIG is finally going back and fixing little bugs that have been plaguing these ships. o7 EDIT: Also, to avoid pirates don't use high traffic shipping lanes. :) o7
weeell .. ive had server crashes, spent 7 tried getting out of the city, first 3 hours where fixing buttons and settings, everything from keybinds to audio and graphics i had to redo, and now the hangar is bugged again and i cant recieve my ships just like before .. didnt even finish a single mission. and !! both my reclaimer and my hammerhead is gone ..
Can someone explain how i can Buy stuff from Terra Gateway with Hull C at the Admin Terminals? Are there Cargo Areas? I tried, but nothing worked... anyone who allready did it?
Does anything work? My ship was completely unresponsive despite there being no damage dealt to it. I was just slowly floating down into orison. Ships don’t even work in the update
3.24.2a Still broken. I've spent hours to understand if there was a logic. There is none. It just doesn't work. Thanks for the vid. At least it gives hope. o7
So, hate to break the news, but this is not new. The Hull C was able to pick up cargo for hauling contracts in 3.24.1 too. There were just a few stations that specifically had issues. All the Gateways worked consistently for me. Everus worked for pickup, but it never worked for cargo unloading. Seraphim never worked at all. The other major issue that still needs to be tested is loading of commodities. This never worked once for me in 3.24.1. It was just flat out broken. Docking has also been completely broken.
So docking for me in previous patches was 50/50. And loading cargo in the cargo decks(blue boxes) worked for me. Sometimes you would have to reposition in the box and hold still multiple times for it to load/unload and very rarely a deck would be completely broke and wouldn’t load/unload at all forcing me to leave the deck, wait the 10 minutes for it to fail, then hover by a new deck location before calling atc again but that’s how I made 15-20 mil last patch was from hull c runs
@davidthompson1453 what were you trading, if you don't mind me asking? And what was your order of operations when arriving at a station? (I presume, docking/landing pad, sell commodities, return to ship, contact atc and unload)
@@_lime. so I would show up at station, dock(if I could) or park next to pads, go to admin and purchase either hydrogen or helium(this depended on stock where I generally sell), go back to my hull c, if docked it would auto call cargo ATC for me otherwise I had to manually call it and sometimes it took a couple button presses for cargo to give me a deck, open spindles before getting into deck, fly into deck and wait, if it said I needed to hold still I would just strafe up/down forward/backward and hold still until it loaded/unloaded. Once fully loaded I would fly to station of choosing and repeat the process but sell instead of buy.
Isn’t it amazing how excited we get when a ship actually works as advertised after years of waiting and hundreds of dollars later…kinda sad when you think about it.
No its not... this is how humans fo EVERYTHING america did not go to the moon for the first time on their first attempt. They used all they lessons the Russians had learned and made alot of mistakes and took forever! But we all got excited when they landed on the moon. Is that also sad?
I don't know if this man is playing on a different sever then us (a secret hidden server) because he's gameplay looks okay but when I play its a load of dog s**t i had a very bad day play this game a horrible experience 👌🏻
Only 80k for that? Talk about a waste of time. Just get a vulture and you can make around 200k per run in just the rmc + mission payout. Hauling needs to be made more profitable. Right now you can make more with pretty much everything else.
When I was criticizing the state of the PTU in PTU general chat last week I got flamed by people saying “it’s PTU” well guess what idiots. They pushed the SAME “PTU” patch to live 🤡 anyone with more than 3 brain cells could see that coming from a mile away

My holo-MFDs weren't working when I tried the Hull C yesterday. I'll have to play with settings to try and get it fixed

IT IS WORKING however! I called it up and it was docked at Docking Station 1 at Everus, It spawned into the Station and i got stuck at the elevator xD

I never had any problems transferring cargo.
Before 3.24.1 it was nearly 5 minutes to load/unload a fully loaded Hull C. Now it is 1:50mn

do you have acces to the back of your ship ? i never bought the ship since you would drop through the floor in the engine side

Yep thanks for testing - it's not working. It loaded but then it never let me unload at the destination. I think Hull-C is just fubar as always.
I've had a couple of issues personally. My hangar is re-cluttered with machinery assets, both my hand held tractor beam won't work.

i used the hull a in 3.24.1 and found the spindles constantly broke and wouldnt go back in and such, is that fixed?
for me it is still a hit and miss, tried out the Everus -> PT and cargo unloading is not progressing at all
