Kulve Taroth, Raging Brachy, Bazel, Fatalis, and Monke… so many epic scores that just take the fights to 11. Can’t wait to see what Wilds has in store!

Dude I totally fit into this. I’ve always been proud to be a mh fan but this video completely recontextualized my pride. Also #11 should be be mh fans are really smart and organized bc of all the thought that goes into learning about monsters, weapons, hunting mechanics, builds… the list goes on. I’m looking forward to some hunts with the discord :)

There was something really special about the Tri lobbies. I too would show up online to just talk to people sometimes. Or long after the last hunt had finished we would just hang out and talk. Fond memories there.

Agreed with the fashion hunts; back before layered armor was a thing, your hunter looked like Frankenstein's monster with roadkill, which just makes you cringe with all the pieces all over the place. Then layered armor happened and now everyone looks good, and it builds confidence because now you're not looking like an eyesore.

I'll try to give my thoughts on all of them. I still try to fashion hunt depending on my weapon choices. There are some I thought about but still don't know how to make it happen and still look at the fashion hunter subreddit from time to time for inspiration. I have some ideas for mostly Rise and maybe Generations. I'm not very social but I should try to play online wrapping up Sunbreak. Even on a few MH discords myself . Just ask questions and get advice is all.
I wouldn't mind helping my fellow hunters. I always ask others every time I hit a wall or need so thing else in-game, but only so few times I put a help quest and get a full four hunters on certain monsters, but not making my own lobbies. Not sure I can. Great to see hunters are do welcoming. Being cooperative sounds essential in Monster Hunter. And I know chances are someone will fall behind or carry but it's okay.
I could do that for others, just explain the armor skills, and say which ones go with which weapons. Yeah I can be a nice guy. But I don't show when a monster frustrates me. I do my own thing with different weapons but can be chill about it too. Laid back about stuff I can do. And great to see we don't lose anything and there's no leaderboard.
I still take the time to improve with not just my favorite weapons but those I'm trying to get better with. And trying to reach 10 weapons I'm comfortable with, maybe more. Even to the point where I try to learn more about monsters. And yes, I absolutely love Monster Hunter music. I've always had a fondness for music so I know when it really hits hard. Can't just choose one or two monster themes to put above the others but the music makes the games what they are.

While I enjoyed playing Tri on my Wii, I never really got Monster Hunter and it wouldn't have become a massive fan. When I had a Wii U fairly early on in its cycle, there weren't a lot of cool games that I was interested in. At the time, I also started using Reddit and found the subreddit for MH3U. There was a TeamSpeak group that met every Saturday and that was when I fell in love with the franchise.

The only odd experience I've had with the MH was some dude calling me a " shonen anime protagonist wannabe" for just playing an SOS in high rank. I have full Fatty gear and I like to stomp monsters, but I guess he didn't like that

Got me curious, I know youre all about player freedom and choice, and playing the way that you want to play, so as a LS main I was curious about your opinions on the weapon. Specifically, what do you find more fun? Running a counter-heavy Iai Stance build? Or going for them BIG damage numbers with Sacred Sheathe? I personally really enjoy Sacred Sheathe, and pushing my limits to try and get a full Sacred Combo at really cheeky moments. Ive been playing Sacred Sheathe LS pretty much since Sunbreak released on Switch, and it felt really weird going back to my old Rise loadout when the game dropped on PS4. I literally couldn't wait for Sunbreak to release on PS4 too lol. Idk how Im going to go back to LS if Wilds doesn't feature a Switch Skills mechanic 😅

    • @iixxion
      @iixxion  4 місяці тому

I haven't played a lot of LS in master rank. I just love all the counters LS has, and I like to play in such a way as to only move using the counters and attacks, with zero running or "manual" repositioning.

Going by this list, I must hate Monster Hunter😂
I hate fashion hunting so much that I instantly ignore any advice coming from someone who values fashion hunting. To be clear, I'm 100 okay with others Doing fashion hunting, just leave me out of it.
I'm not socal at all. Even when I tried going online, the hate I received for using the longsword forced me to become a solo hunter.
This worked fine for MHGen /MHGU But when MH World came out, the "muh DPS" people joined the series and now I only play solo to avoid the toxicity.
I use to love helping people, but I stopped because it went from helping people learn in the game to convincing people to learn on their own instead of trying to copy some someone else play style.
Music is probably the one I completely agree with.

If you don't care for how your character armor looks then do you not like character creation in games or the weapons designs? I'm actually curious because I would classify my character, weapon and armor as fashion?

@@visceral_flex4213 I hate it. Before my friend convinced me to give Monster Hunter a try, I was immediately turned off by the character creation screen.
Character creation is a big *red flag* to me.
This is one of the main reasons I don't play wRPGs.
There's there reasons why I hate it.
1:) I'm not a creative person at all so I *never* have a good experience when I have to be creative.
2:) Even when I try, I could never make an avatar look like me so why bother trying. Why waste my time when I know there's are no opinion to make a character look like me.
3.) I rather they use those resources on things that makes the game better. (Like more monsters, more things to do on the map, etc)

MH fans are passionate. That's both a good and bad thing. We all love the franchise, but everyone has a different opinion. Like the World/Rise divide or is HH a support weapon.
Personaly, I haven't gone back to World. I think it is the better game, but I found it painful getting around without a palamute again.
I also think HH should do 80% damage of the hammer without buffs, 105% damage of the hammer if you can maintain your buffs, and song effects should be split between however many players there are in a group.
But as long as I can beat 300+ tonne monsters to death with a bagpipe; that's all that matters to me.

Joined a lobby not even a min in got a guild card request from this HR999 and cause i didn't accept or send one back got kicked out of the lobby and later got a pm saying i was a nooby for not sending one back.
Bruh i don't send GC unless i like the person or I'm doing more than one hunt with em that just made chuckle afterwards cause of how dumb the reason i was kicked.
