What are the wheels and tires on this car? I figure those are Diamond Back tires but a size would be nice and a look at the wheels. Car sure looks ans sounds nice. Hopefully my Roadrunner will be that nice once it is done.
Thank you. The wheels are 15x8 and 15x10. I had them made in the style of the W23 Kelsey Hayes "recall" wheels by Curtis Speed in California. The tires are 245/60/15 and 295/50/15 Avon CR6ZZ vintage road race tires. They are radials with a 70 treadwear and hook really well. And yes, I sent them to Diamond Back for the redline sidewall.
@@IINNTTMMDD88 Style of the Recall Wheels, Nice. Those wheels have a very '70s look to them. Please post something where we call get a good side view of the car. On the tires, I didn't know you could send tires to Diamond Back to get them done, I thought you had to buy what they sold. I learn something new everyday. I've been looking for someone that can build a custom wheel. I'll check with Curtis Speed to see if they will build a Harley rim. I want a set of 16" for a Road Glide that look like Torque Thrust with a Native Custom Wide Front Kit. I'm afraid to run Chinese cast car wheels with motorcycle tires on a big bike. Thanks for the reply and again it's a beautiful car.
@@dbc105 Thanks! Diamondback doesn't want to do some of the newer drag radials. They are so soft the sidewall can end up looking a bit smeared/imperfect but if you want something done just reach out to them and ask.
@@IINNTTMMDD88and thank you for keeping that badass Mopar looking right with the right size period correct wheels.....well diameter size anyway.....wide "mean business' tread is icing on the cake
Well I didn't see the video and now it says it was taken down. I think Diamond Back is still using BFG TA Radials and I'm good with that. Mine is just a lightly warmed over 383 auto. At 65 I don't care to much about out running anyone any more, just good comfort, looks and dependability. LOL, I have found a nice tilt column out of a '68 Fury to put into my car.
Yes and thanks! It put down 650rwhp 510rwtq on a dynojet. It's a mega block with stock stroke crank, .060 over bore (so 438ci). Ported iron heads. 262/262 112lsa cam motion low lash solid roller. CP pistons, 12.4-1 compression. Edelbrock intake converted to EFI. Holley HP efi. Coil on plug. (ford coyote coils). Flex fuel/ E85. Peak power at 7,250. Shifted at 7800rpm. Trans is a Tremec TKO600. Mcleod RST twin disc clutch. Strange S60 with 4.56 gears.
Thanks for the response. I know the Hemi makes a lot of power but I heard that the Hemi was hard to keep tuned for the street due to the carburetors. It sounds like you have solved that issue. My dad was a MOPAR guy but it was the small block Duster 340. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks! I used to run dual AVS2 carbs on this engine when it was much milder. Pretty easy to tune and get running nicely just more time consuming (for me anyway)
The exhaust is TTI 2 1/8" headers, 3.5" up to the h-pipe then 3" to the tips. Mufflers are Pypes race pro. Quietest straight through muffler I have found.
Beautiful who needs a radio in your car when it sounds like that ❤👍👍👍❤
One can only imagine the cash the owner has ponied up for the car and the space to keep it. Props to ya!
Thanks! Building it myself helps but my projected retirement age is 107.
Awesome Mopar! Sounds really good👍
これが本当の車なんです! やっぱりアメ車は最高!!!!
Looks like it has a set of the recall wheels.
Good eye. They were made in that style
GIMMEE !!!!!!!!!!
Beautifil wheel/tire group....I have CR6ZZs myself on an old Firebird, where/how was the red striping added to you Avons Sir?
Thank you! The redlines were added by Diamond back tires. Rather expensive but they do a great job.
Thank you for the reply, last question...and just guessing on sizes...295/50/15 rear and 245/60/15 front?
@@OlinIraFletcherIII Yes that exactly correct. And wheels are 15x10 and 15x8

Back home like Christine. Just don't bother.

Damn! I'm guessing well over 500 horsepower? It sounds really good with the Pypes mufflers.

Started as 426 now 518
No I intentionally kept it stock stroke. It's just a .060 over 426 so now 438ci.

Can we see more of this car??
Hello, sure is there anything in particular you would like to see?
@@IINNTTMMDD88 all of it! It's a gorgeous 69 charger! The only car better in my opinion is a 68 charger!
Hello, I added a short overview. Thanks! ua-cam.com/video/epHDiaDLba8/v-deo.html
The year 666 but OK car
Yo libs...recharge THESE!!!
