This is a 1 of 80 built 68 Dart with a 426 Hemi! You will want to crank the volume and listen to that Hemi rumble! #hemidart #dodgedart #hemi #mopar #moparornocar
Those A bodies, & the E bodies looked KILLIN Ill'd out on tens on back, eights in front.. K K's do make the biggs n littles look good!! Are Keystone Klassics aruound still? Anyone holdin a set of originals probly holdin em for somethin- cool. I have a set of original E.T. IIII's...(4's..how do you do a roman 4 onna keyboard) like, ima holdin mine for my Charger..it'll be a bit longer, (paint) then she will be ready to whip around with new dress, and those new shoes,...turnin heads..gettin looks.. you know..
@@bigredc222 I'd say I don't know what I was thinking, but after looking back at it it's clear that I wasn't thinking. All I can say for myself is I was intoxicated with that beautiful beautiful A body😛 My Charger's gettin closer.✌️🍺🍺🍺😁
0:58 (center) The LO23s and BO29s did not come with any "HEMI" badgings from the factory. Anyone who listens to them idle and watches them on the track would not need no stinking badges.
Yes, i like that slobbering all over its self, never saw a steady idle in its life, bubbling sound!! But..Ima bout ta take control of that one!😂❤😢...FILTHY.... Rumble!😮❤😊IM AT LEAST GONNA BE USIN IT, Fock!😂
Actually much better described as a specialized "factory race car". MuscleCars were generally understood to be hi-performance factory assembly-line production cars (mostly intermediates w/big blocks) like the Chevelle SS 396-454, Buick GS Stage 1, GTO RA IV, Olds 442 W30; etc.
😊 my friend Norm would call cam in this light weight a 'tin can' cam. Because it "sounds like...tin can...roll 'round in..engine.. engine sound 6, 7 hundred.. look tach...1800-2600.. bouncy bouncy... oh,, it hungry" i ask him is that its stomach growlin like that? He askes the engine anitt says WHOOP AASSSS! and goes back ta kickin the can around. If a guy run a chevy like we do Dodges, thier driveways would be oil spotted up... A weekend @ the track, monday morning, Dodges' waitin w/tail waggin cold nose, ready for more ❗️
How great is was to see and hear muscle like this on every Friday night down at Lujans drive -in. After a while even the local Police watched the Drags out on 224 before it opened. GREAT TIME TO BE ALIVE !!!!! Sad it's all changed so much

I had the opportunity to buy a L023 Hemi dart in the late 90's for 100K, it was the one that was on the cover of Mopar Muscle, i passed on it for lack of garage space, stupid move on my part, should have of bought it.
Mmwah! That sweet Hemi, calmly repeating: gimmiethegas, gimmie the c'mon, gg comeon, gimmie the gas..a very nice, currently docile, but excitable disposition.. always loved shuttin one down after a long slobbery idle time. Cool cool stuff! Dodge Boys are back some would say, but I say, we never went, been here, an like it too. Sombody's gotta find out Big Daddy's thought on that..⚠️. I'm goin w/what he says!✌️
Baddest of the bad hands down u no I'm right that 426Hemi is the top of the pintical all the others make big block after big block just trying to see its tail lights.nascar it got banned went to salt flats and set it on fire an burned the drag strip up they didn't have a chance .this motor has so much going for it hell funny cars all hemi top fuel all hemi come onits always been about the hemi.people that don't know Nothing about a big block bet you're ass they know what a Hemi is ha ha ha love these Hemi Darts wicked fast

Exactly!
Baddest A-Body on the planet! Nice Daryl!

I didn’t think this could POSSIBLY get any better……..until he backed in and I saw the Keystone Klassics! Total package for me!

You're right! Those Keystone Kustomag Classics caught my eye, too. The best looking aftermarket wheel of that era.

I love hearing a nice filthy rumble

Very nice, Mopar sure knew what they were doing. Classic American muscle cars are worth their weight in gold now.
Mopar built some awesome machines.
@@paradiseroadrestorations Then there's the Ford Fairlane Thunderbolt!
Love that Armstrong steering
No room, and no need for power steering!
WOW Great looking Dart 🖒
It's a beauty!
I had a 68gts with a 340. I know it didn't sound as good as this one but it did have a nice little rumpty-rump.
The 340 has its own reputation.

The sound of a Race Hemi never fails to draw a crowd, The 64 & 65 Race Hemi cars preceeded the 68 cars, just carried more weight.
The Race Hemi was a lethal package.

Yeah, they don't come for sale too often.
Yeah they are sell for like almost 300k now !
The GOAT of the 60s muscle cars. This monster would shit kick anything from GM or Ford in the decade.
Ten second cars right from the factory, even without extra tuning. And they can run in the nines.
All of you must now kneel to the God of factory built Musclecars.
L88 Corvette!
Need I say more?
We all know it now!……& I owned 2 GTOs!
I like the Keystones
They look good, don't they!
those were the deepest keystones iv ever seen

Had a charger E49 with track pack option, Aussie
Love the Keystones.
Just stunning.

The 68 is my favorite of 67-69.
Sharp classic
What is the elephant in the room. Thanks for sharing!
You're welcome!
Anyone at a car show that can walk past that beast and ignore it as if it's a '76 Caprice station wagon is NOT a car person!
You have that right!

Yessir, everybody knows what a Hemi is, and who makes it!
Pachyderm Power!
You really don't need to paint the word Hemi on this car. The engine running removes all doubt as to what's under the hood.
Would’ve liked to see the engine on thst
I have another video posted of this car with lots of engine photos.
Fucking excellent 👍
