This video is perfect to know what Gloves you’re looking at. Best video on UA-cam teaching you I just Subscribed 👍
Thanks! 🙏🏼
There's no one communicating this information on UA-cam (at least in English to my dumbass) with the depth and clarity these videos provide. With the resurgent increase in popularity of various martial arts I hope millions more can take in a fraction of the knowledge presented in your video libraries. Very important toward keeping oneself and one's training partner as safe as possible. Wish you the best!
Thanks I appreciate the kind words and support
Thank you! I learned some extra little bits here. I am having custom handmade gloves made for me (16Oz all rounder and 12Oz mitt/pad work glove). Appreciated the detail you went to on the variety of wrist locking mechanisms and their pros/cons. Cheers 🙏

Great breakdown video, something I'll definitely steer people towards if they don't properly understand the kind of gloves they need for training and/or want to be at least generally informed on punching equipment.
Appreciate it, and I agree, just the more informed you are, the better choices you make

Thanks
Thanks. Commented and liked
Thank you!
i appreciate the heck outta this video! i've been contemplating what to get as a beginner/casual just looking for the best option for bag work/working out.
even though i'm an intense fan of the sweet science, i've yet to focus on the specifics of the gloves boxers use, so this simplified the heck outta an otherwise confusing world for me!
if anyone has any suggestions for an excellent bag or training glove to be used by a lady, please let me know which one & why, if you can! it'd be much appreciated... predominantly for bag work, with a small amount of incredibly casual sparring thrown in.
EDITED TO ASK: do all gloves require some type of hands wraps every time, or are most of the casual bag/training gloves meant to be quickly slipped on & ready for use?
Thanks! Tried the rival guerrero bag gloves and wraps should always be worn unless it’s a bag mitt style glove
Excellent Presentation
🙏🏼🥊
Thanks this helped!

Hey Carlo thanks for your great work. The RB50 do you wrap your hands when you use them, and what size are those?
Thanks man! You can wrap your hands, but I don’t with bag mitts. These are Large.
Excellent video.
Thanks
Your hat collection is dope

No prob sorry I don’t in this video but it should be easy to look up

Hey bro, big fan of your videos. Which gloves do you recommend that you felt gave you the best/most comfortable thumb positioning?
Thanks brother! I’d say my rival rfx guerrero sparring gloves had the most comfortable thumb, very streamlined and form fitting
The Rival RB50 looking great, I'll get that for the bag. Exactly what I was looking for.
Thanks
@@csquaredboxing Yeno what, il share the story with you. So my brother and his friend were walking in a park, just a nice walk, families out with their kids. Basically, it got dark very fast, my bro and his friend were walking out of the park. When two guys approached them, they were asking if they were the guys they were supposed to meet, looking for their weed... Intimidation tactics... My bro and his friend are not fighters, no violence in them. Basically, my bro and his friend ran away, but my bro got hit in the back of the head with a baseball bat which came from nowhere. So, my brother was beaten to the ground, his friend ran back to help. The attackers said, "If you take one step closer we will stab him". So my brother's friend had to run. My brother continued to get beaten on the ground, protecting his face with his hand. My bro offered his phone and his money but they didn't want that, they stopped for a moment and said "that's enough"... When a light from a phone shined on the ground... and the beating started again... They began to record him while they beat him. The attackers ran away and my brother got away, found his friend... Basically, my bro is ok but he has 4 broken bones in his hand, really beat up. It was a horrible attack and these guys were not fighters, they were just purely looking for easy targets and looking to only hurt someone. It's terrible that these people are out there, young men, miss guided men... But this has led me onto taking up a martial art, looking into May Thai. So that's what has led me to your video, getting gloves and a bag. It's important to give yourself a fighting chance, at the same time this is a journey in self-mastery. What more can I say, this is one story in a big world. I hope you are keeping well during these times my friend. Thanks for the video.
@@csquaredboxing what OZ are these Rival RB50 carlo?

Never mind just saw your review video on these
Hello! I’ve been watching your videos throughout the day and I’m enjoying them a lot, I just recently got into boxing and I’m curious what weight gloves I should get? I’m 5”8, about 130ish. Will only be working with a heavy bag.
Thanks man appreciate the support, go with 14 ounce
u deserve more subs man

Hey loving the channel & really liking those Rival bag mitts in your vid. What exact model are they? 🥊 Thanks 🙂
Thank you! They are the Rival RB50
csquaredboxing any tips on hand sizing for gloves. Buying online is tough. Thanks for any tips ya got. Or if you’ve got a video out there already for the topic lmk. Thanks
Thanks for the great video. Which bag glive do you like better, the Title one you showed, or the Rival RB50?
THANKS
Rival
Hey Man!
Really appreciate your info.
Just one more thing to ask....do we have to wear the hand wraps for heavy bad training under the bag gloves?
for bag mitts typically no
Subscribed!!
Thanks homie
Great videos brother; subscribed. I have a question to ask before ordering the Hayabusa S4's from Amazon. I currently have 16 oz everlast power lock gloves that I'm not hugely into. I've got a 120lb heavy bag that's hard as rock, and I'm a Massage Therapist (in my 40's) and I punch quite hard. What would you recommend for a good glove for impact protection for prolonged intense heavybag work? The two I'm considering are both on Amazon and are almost the same price ($70 Canadian). The Hayabusa S4's, and RBK. I also saw a pair of $100 (on discount) Ringside gloves at a local sport store, which were super thick. Just wondering what you recommend between the gloves mentioned above, or if there's something else you would recommend. I'm leaning towards the S4's (would love T3's, but not in my budget); what would you recommend, value for the dollar?
Max protection I would go with title gel world bag gloves over the ones you listed especially for impact protection. Thanks for the sub as well
Great video
Thanks
Love the hat bro! Rangers fan but grew up playing on the sharks (as a little kid)
thanks bro
Nice hat bro I play hockey but I like the Black Hawks.
Thanks man
Hi mate , love your content ! What’s your thought on using 10oz fight gloves for pad work only ?
Many thanks - Dave UK
Great for pad work
I can’t find those Title bag gloves please help! Would you consider bob xl a bag? If not can you suggest a glove for training with bob?
nice vid bro!!! what's the rap song on your intro?
dustyrealms 3 that’s Digable Planets - Rebirth of Slick (Cool Like Dat)
@@matthewrios3241 thats why it sounds familiar😁😁😁😁😁
Ditto! Thanks brother!
Have watched your glove videos. But would appreciate your specific
recommendation of 2 or 3 specific gloves with model # or full name of glove in 2022. I am over 60 yrs old, but a beginner. I just want to do bag work. I need maximum knuckle and wrist
protection for Heavy Bag. I am not going to spare, nor do mitt work (I
don't think). Please recommend 2 or 3 gloves (under $95.00) for maximum
wrist and knuckle protection for Bag Work only. I am 6'1" and 175lbs with long arms.
Thank you very much. Great channel.
Came here to learn what type of glove I should use on a heavy bag and reflex bag, and you gave me an education. Great video. Hopefully, you're getting some support from Rival, cause I'm probably going to buy their RB5 Bag Mitts thanks to your video.
Right on man glad you enjoyed the video appreciate the support!
@@csquaredboxing Would you recommend wrapping your hands when using the bag mitts on a heavy bag? I've read from several people that the mitts alone won't protect your hands enough.
Hey bro I’m looking for a hard material glove that I can train with and will hurt other people I’m sparring what glove do you think?
I love your videos!! They are very informative. I want to purchase a floor standing reflex boxing punching bag for my son who is about to be 30., I also want to purchase gloves. Do you have any recommendations? Thanks in advance.
Thanks man! I currently like the title cobra reflex bag, check out my review on it. As far as gloves go, it just depends on your budget because there’s a ton to choose from
Contact me if you want to boxing gloves in different sizes and styles we have free sample just for you.
Great channel. Extremely informative for a beginner like myself. I have a question regarding sizes. Outside weights of gloves, I see on Title and Ringside websites, actual sizes of gloves(Med/large, XLarge). Just curious as to what size you wear?? I’m asking because we look to be very similarly built, hand size as well. Thanks a lot.
Thanks man, tbh I wear all sizes, it depends on the style of the glove and what I’m hitting that day. 16 ounce for sparring, velcro closure and compact for bags. 10 ounce fight gloves for mitts. You can change it up. I focus more on the comfort and feedback of the glove rather than the weight.
Thanks man. I appreciate the response.
Hey man, what other training gloves would you recommend?
just getting started, extreme novice. Really appreciate this video content. Are hand wraps used with all of these gloves?
Thanks! Yes hand wraps should be used with all gloves except bag mitts
Always wrap. I’ve been hitting the bags for years but still consider myself a novice but the best thing I ever learnt was wrapping. Your hands and wrists will thank you.
dcgoride I am new to it too. But I’m all in, I love it. Is there a downside of not strengthening your hands/wrists with wrapping every time? I’m really trying to get as close as I can to a defensive street fight scenario. I’m thinking the bag mitts are the way to go. Any help would be appreciated
Hugh Jassole wrapping is going to protect your hands and wrists from injuries especially as you get tired and your form goes off. Your hands and wrists are still going to get stronger just with a lower risk of injury.
dcgoride Makes sense. Wrapping it is, then. Thanks man
Thanks for all the videos you have posted, they really help me out. I just started Muay Thai and I’m only 13, 120 pounds, and around 5’6. Do you recommend me to get 12 or 14oz gloves? I tried 12 oz and they are a little tight but 14oz look pretty big on me, but I think they are better for me. Also, would u prefer pro everlast, venum classic, or venum contenders 2.0 gloves?
venum classic and 14
@@csquaredboxing ok, thanks for replying
U like muay thai?
What was the better one for the heavy bag the title or rival ones
Hi Can i ask you are Everlast moulded ergo boxing gloves or kick box or muay thai?
Links for buying them would have been awesome. Thanks for your time bro. If possible provide the links for buying them. Thanks.
🙏🏼🥊
can you tell me what is the best boxing gloves that are under 100$?
Any leather lace glive are godly
👍🏼
Can you review the BGV18 Fairtex Gold Super Sparring Gloves
Will try my best to get those!
Hey bro big fan of yours love your vids i am completely new to boxing and going to start soon can you recommend me some good gloves my budget is around 60$$...
Thanks man! Venum impact, infinitude, top boxer win 1
Hey, I’m looking to use the gloves for bag and pad work and maybe sparring. Are the training gloves best suited for me?
Yes definitely go with a training glove which would be good for all kinds of work including sparring
csquaredboxing I’m quite new to this and there’s different size gloves (in weight) you can get. How do I know which weight is best suited for me?
Simran Hayre it typically goes by weight and hand size, to make it easy, if you’re smaller and have a lighter frame, go with 14 ounce. Larger go with 16 ounce. You can go with 12 ounces as well for training but then you won’t be able to spar with gloves that small, 14-16 is the correct weight
csquaredboxing great, thank you
Where did you get them from? The site cuz i dotn trust sites i dotn know
I wanted to get the 16 oz everlast pro style, but they were super sloppy on my hands. The only ones that even fit in that brand were the 8oz. I'm only hitting a 70 lb bag so should be ok, I really just want to work on speed and form anyway.
🙏🏼🥊
Hii, I'm wondering if you can advise me. I've started a boxing class where there's bag work and pad work. The first set of gloves I borrowed were great - no pain in my arthritis-prone finger joints, it was like I could clench my fist and punch (most comfortable for me). The gloves I ended up buying, it's like I can't clench my fist and it's so uncomfortable when I hit the bag. I do have long, slender fingers, is that the issue? I'm trying to find a pair like the ones I initially tried but not sure what I'm looking for! Can you please help me?
Nice!!!!
🙏
e40 and a Sharks hat? 408 all day baby! subbed
Rep the bay!
Is there a specific style you would recommend for thumb protection? Ive been spraining my thumbs constantly for years
Everlast Pro have "Thumblok technology" to save your thumb but I've never tried em out myself
@@agill9878 there pretty good
Came for the info. Subscribed for the hat. #GoSharks
Thanks brother go Sharks!
I’m 6’2 230 what gloves should I get for bag work and occasional sparring
Hey carlo man would love it if you did a review on the 200$ everlast sparring gloves, alot of people would be interested in what you have to say. Theres only a Russian guy that reviewed it and we have no idea what hes saying. Thanks.
I’ll check them out
Nice
What was the ounces of all the gloves?
what do u think about this oldschool classice bag gloves from topboxer? all the greats in their time from 1920-1970 wear them
Awesome looking gloves and great for feedback and developing your hand and wrist strength
Cool hat what brand team hockey
Hey Carlo, are the everlast powerlock laced training gloves good for bag work?
It's on sale for 80 dollars.
Yes definitely
