    I'm a regular home canner and just a couple of hints. You should put raw pack anything into cooler water or the jars could break. When it comes up to boiling let steam come full force out of the weight vent for 10 full minutes before putting the weight on. One last thing. Don't remove the weight until your pressure gage reads 0...or the jars could break. Congrats on your first spring bear with your boy!

    Hello Pro, Wife and I love your videos and posts! Would like to see some of this bear meat served! Looks good to me but my family is squeamish about eating wild game so we tend to make it in dishes. Any suggestions on what to make with canned meat? Again, thanks for posting the cool videos!

    Question- I've seen people add water or broth to their jars, any input on doing this- or just leaving them dry as you did?

    How do you store the bear between taking it In the field and canning?

    You must not live in Washington State. They closed our spring bear.
