@@somethingbettercoming I love the fragrance, but those beads left a wax like residue on my washer's stainless steel drum. Luckily, my machine is brand new, so I used affresh and followed up with a 1:1 distilled water/vinegar wipe down inside the drum. It's as good as new. So, no more Downy Unstopables for my household.

i did it this way and i noticed they didn’t disolved fully and make my cloths really sticky and soapy i didn’t use alot of detergent either . i started to put water in a pot and put The beads in and boiled the water till they dissolve then i put it in and it made mycloths and home smell amazing
Wow, that is so time consuming. It dissolved when I do it and never had a problem. Is the water level ok?
@@somethingbettercoming there was plenty of water thats why i found it weird are you supposed to use it with warm or hot water cause I always wash with cold could that be the reason why ?
could also depend on the amount of clothes you put. I always have this problem with regular detergent.

Really??😳 I thought that's is where it was suppose to go. This is why I did this video. Do you find that it works in the rinse as well?

Won't work is not fresh, you can smell it for 2 mins in the machine only after that nothing

Can you use them with light colored clothes or is it not recommended?
Hi Carly, you can definitely use it on light colored clothing. In fact, you can use as little as you want or as much as you would like . I enjoy the fresh scent after doing the laundry even though I don't mind washing, I hate folding and putting the clothes away. Do you enjoy doing laundry Carly? God bless you! Why? Because we had your exact washer and it did not wash our clothes! It did not fill water to the top and it hardly agitated! One load had to be wash about four to five times for it to actually be clean. People I've talked to at Home Depot expressed the same frustration! How is it working out for you?

It is no bad. No complains yet. Were you gaging it correctly? For it to full to the top you have to keep it on Bulky setting and Normal is for small amount of clothes. I am sorry you are having so much issues with it. How long have you had it?
@@somethingbettercoming I did try that and it just wouldn't fill to the top. I bought OxiClean powder and OxiClean Arm & Hammer detergent and the clothes were still dirty because there's hardly movement. That washer has a wave-like movement, in other words it's not really moving to activate the soap to clean your clothes. A lot of people have the same issue but it's not practical because you're using more water and more energy by putting the same load over again and again... Our machine was new. after two months or so we decided to get a replacement. We're still looking into an old-school washer. Old school washers fill up and make that movement to clean your clothes! LOL
@@marissaveloz9724 wow, I know what mean. When I was looking for a new washing machine and dryer, I was really looking for an 'old-school but there was None, nowhere. I was very hesitant about getting this one but I had no other choice. They are so expensive and this was the most reasonable priced. I could swear mines rotates🤔or I just assumed. I have four adults using this machine and I haven't heard anything unusual. Thank you Marissa for sharing. Keep your fingers crossed for me☹️

Can I use scent booster instead of fabric softener ?
Yes, you can use it alone or use it with the fabric softener. The boosters gives it a scent and the softener, soften the fabric and prevents static. I like to use it because I have sensitive skin but I always forget to put it in☹️ Thank you for watching and commenting.

Great question! These newer model of Maytag washing machines, that is not an option. Once the machine is closed, that is when it starts filling up with water; that is why I add the Stopables first. Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment.

I know it is literally a waste of money (money going down the drain)🤭 but why not make it a fun experience. Try going into the supermarket and into the soap isle and you will see how laundry has become a big deal. They now have a new show on TV called the laundry guy. Can you imagine!😳
Marketing sells products that we don't need. Never needed 'fabric softener', the dryer does an adequate job of that.
