- You will need:
Downy Unstopables (or scent booster of your choice)
Less than 3 cups of water (heat for one minute)
Funnel (optional)
Heat proof cup
Spray bottle

Thanks for this idea! To prevent any powder residue on surfaces, I boiled the water, then mixed in the scent boosters before pouring it to my bottle. No residue😉

i saw this video and had to see. i fill a spray bottle with hot water and put 3 GAIN fabric softener sheets( what scent you prefer) mix and let sit for a bit.. then good to go. people think its crazy but it works
You added fabric sheets or did you mean scent booster beads?

Does it work with camphor balls?
it seems to be a good stuff and worth money (around $17 ??) for a bottle of 300ml ??
Since there lots of scents to choose from to you think ';;botanic mist ;; smell like fresh air or something ??
I tried this, but used the arm & hammer scent beads which are 1/3 the size of the downey ones. Added hot water. My first water bottle sprayer broke while using it. Put it in another and that sprayer stopped working. That one was a bigger bottle & I added more water as I thought perhaps I'd used too much. Coincidence that they both quit or is the the brand?
Try boiling the water and adding the beads and mixing it before adding to your bottle. Your beads might not have melted enough and maybe clogged your spray bottle.
This stuff works but also leaves a residue on anything you spray this around. Keep that in mind.
Maybe add more water to dilute would you think that help?

You have to add rubbing alcohol to it and I don’t leave a residue

How long does it last for & how many times do you have to change it
It depends on how much you use at your home. Mine lasted about 2 weeks.
Would it not be easier and safer to mix it in the jug before pouring into the container.

Will this stain blue on surfaces?
I spray it in the air, or above cotton/carpet. I don't spray it directly on surfaces because it will leave a residue. There's no real color to it, so no stains.
