What's going on guys, here is my Perfected Golemancer build guide, this build is a monster and walks through everything in the game with no issues, I have pushed tier 118 currently in the pit and with a few minor upgrades this build could push into the higher 120's. If you have any questions or comments let me know below, thanks for the visit!
I followed your Ring of the Sacrilegious build a while back and it took me to Pit 103 - I found it so hard to change from it because of the relaxing gameplay of everything just dying while I hang out in my bag deciding what to scrap. Finally I changed to your Shadowmage build and got it to 113, but I think this one looks fun enough it is time for another change over! I really appreciate the work you do, thank you.
Hey thank you for this. I was following other guides from people who act like experts and I was stuck. My gear is pretty good and I've been lucky with rolls but like I said I was stuck and it was frustrating to the point where I had quit weeks ago. That and tempering being a garbage system with bricking gear. Now I'm pushing through higher levels of the pit with your build.
Thank you SO much for this!!! After 3 seasons I finally get an uber unique and all the build guides say "If you have a shako use it but you don't need it. Here's what you do ...". But now I DO have a bloody Shako and I want a build that uses it goddammit!
Just changed my build to this! Cleared pit 93 without holy bolts, where withother builds failed with holybolts! Understanding of paragon is top tier man! Btw my gear is masterworked to 8/12 ane some are briked lol! Really appreciate your amazing work, keep up!
Been playing around with the Paragon board. Without Shako, I can't hit the 430 Willpower required for the Tenacity node over in the Bone Graft board. Initially I thought the solution would be to sacrifice a node somewhere. After some experimenting though, I found a clever way to bypass this while still keeping all the main nodes the same: 1. In the Cult Leader board, leading up to the Cult Leader node, you can pick up two Willpower nodes instead of passing through Intelligence. 2. Entering the Hulking Monstrosity board, go straight down instead of to the right. There's an extra Willpower node there. 3. Towards the end of the Bone Graft board, pick up the extra Willpower node over Dexterity. 4. At the end of the Flesh-eater board, pick up the extra Willpower node over Intelligence. And that's it. Doing this will give +25 Willpower, which will be enough to hit 430 without Shako.
Love your build! You explain it so well too. First time Diablo player here. This really helped, I follow everything and started to understand why it works too.
Started playing Diablo first time like 2 weeks ago. Today I got Pit over 100. Thank you man, much apprecisted. One can tell much thought got into this, e.g. Paragon Board.
For your build, you may want to drop a few points of blood mist and get three into armour and thorns skill. You can then turn your armour percentage temper into max life. Plus, you get the extra thorns damage from your minions.

I’d love to share a build with you that is inspired by your mage only build. It uses 8 glyphs, along with using the ring of sac. I can push to tier 115, no hell bent commander necklace, no harlyquin. I have a %22 crit chance not good. I feel as if you used this set up with your 90% chance it would be absolutely insane. I can easily push tier 115 with a few minutes left on the clock. I will push to 118 just went from 105 to 115 in a day with this set up.
Wow great explanation and your skill tree is like almost perfect and your paragon board is PERFECT. I have seen so many paragon board yours is way up there. Thank you. Excellent setup.

@@XPGamess I have a chest with 2 Golem Mastery. Masterworked the piece to 4/12, got the Golem Mastery to 3. Mastworked to 8/12, which added points to the armor stat but not to Golem Mastery. Maybe going to 12/12 will add more to GM, but the way my rolls have gone, would be surprised if it did.

With the aphotic bug, I'm actually starting to wonder if the Ultimate Cooldown affix would be more useful rather than the Golem Cooldown. I am able to basically spam my golem and I'm pretty sure it's solely cause of aphotic, with the extra 30% golem CDR really just being wasted. Army of the Dead takes a minute though and 30% of 60 seconds is way more useful than 30% of 2 seconds. Just something I been wondering about lately and might wanna try to see if it helps with an overall DPS boost. Now if they ever fix aphotic, I'd def be screwed 😂
I hear you for sure, you could get away with most likely dropping one roll for ultimate cooldown but at very least I would keep 2 of the golem cooldowns and also it is not 30% for the ultimate you only get like 10% but still might not be a bad idea.
@@baryb83There is a node in one of the later paragon boards that I’m low on dexterity I believe because I don’t have the + all stats without Shako. It’s not that big of a deal, build still is great. Just wanted to point it out.
@@baryb83 On the BONE GRAFT Paragon board, there is rare node at the top he got for the extra life. It's called Tenacity. You need 430 Willpower to trigger the 4% extra HP. Without Shako, you aren't hitting this. You fall just short of it. This can be solved by removing a point from anywhere and putting it into a blue Willpower slot in the initial Paragon board. Since it's getting boosted by the Amplify glyph, you end up getting +17 Willpower instead of +7, assuming the glyph is level 21. There's two of them you can get, for a total of 34 extra Willpower. This should be enough to hit that node bonus. EDIT: In case anyone's wondering, I took the point from the "5% Damage Reduction for Your Minions" blue node in the Cult Leader board.
If you're talking about the Flesh-eater node, don't worry about it - he's also not hitting the cap with that. The 16% bonus alone is still good though and worth getting.
This is nearly the same build as I have but I’ll have to work on the paragon board and compare those. I have 67k health with rubies, and 44k without any buffs or that one for standing still. I don’t use army of the dead and all the extra attack speed you have is actually useless as well since it caps at 100% with every bonus activated. The game would show this stat on minion attack speed as 37.5% on your stat list. A couple things though, armor caps at 9230 so everything over that is useless so you could probably roll that to literally anything else, second, the only good pieces of gear you have is the chest, amulet, and shako so great rolls on those congrats. I will compare our paragon boards because I might use help on that. Making these couple of changes you could take this build to 160 pit reliably. I have taken mine to 140 pit solo. Hopefully this helps, when you remake this video tag me in it. I would love to see your progress. You’ve got a sub!
You didn't actually watch the entire video I can tell, first off, we have 112% attack speed so only 12 over which I talk about when I upgrade an attack speed roll a bit more I can drop one to hit the 100 cap exactly, secondly not using army of the dead is your first major mistake for the 150% multiplier, you're losing a ton of damage. Secondly you have only went to pit 140 with holy bolt elixir which really means nothing you are doing tons of damage due to the elixir, this build can push mid 120s with no holy bolt. And also, yes you should use my paragon because it is fully optimized, I haven't seen a better one. And as far as the armor cap obviously I am aware of the armor cap, and we are not too far over so not a big deal. When you make those changes get back to me, they will help you out a lot so then you will be able to push the pits without a broken elixir.
The tooltip is off, not everything is correct on it, in total I have 112% attack speed which I talk about in detail in the gear and aspects section, minion crit chance is around 92% and Golem damage is sitting around 6,700.00% currently.
Yo watched ur whole guide and liked it... What build would be the better one and maybe gameplay wise easier to push as necro in the end? Shadowblight or golem/ minions? Also which build is faster to" obtain" gearwise. Would be cool to hear your opinion on this one. i think you experimented a lot already, thats why i ask 😊
For pushing endgame I would say golem minions honestly, just find yourself a chest with ranks to golem and it doesn't even have to be a greater affix at first then eventually when your able you can always upgrade it later. And honestly you dont HAVE to have golem ranks on chest at first.
Thank you very much for the guide! I wanna try this build. Do you think i can swap the 10/30% dmg ring with the one that automatically casts corpse spells for a more chill pit run?
I have a similar set up but used frenzied dead instead of inner calm because I don’t know how to test if those attack speed to golem nodes actually count towards cult leader. If it does, I don’t need frenzied dead, but if it doesn’t, then I do. Have you looked into that?
@@XPGamess hope because I have a perfect one with CC and CD ...and technically that ring gives you effect resistance and 40% more damage... So u can drop inner calm BUT you are the expert I'm just going to wait and see it if works for you hope sooo
Necrotic Carapace is giving you 15% dmg reduction only if you are Fortified, which means that you have as much Fortify as your current life. I don't think that is easy?
No tyreals might would be the worst thing you could put on this build. But for a mage buildit's great, there is a link in the description for my endgame mage guide if you want to check it out,
My favorite builds. Where you need to use equipment after having killed a tormented boss to show you how to kill a tormented boss. Show my how to kill users without uber uniques.
Well are you wearing shako? If not you are missing some allstars. I would suggest in your pathing trying to take a few nodes you need to meet requirements
Yes in the options you can mess with your key binds. I would set your left click to move interact only then use a different key for that skill. You can set it up however you want too.
@@CalebW451 well we get things we need in certain spots like on rings we want the crit chance and att speed, on 2 hander we do get crit damage but as for the tempering you want golem damage it is going to give you more overall then the crit damage.
@@pyrographic380 you should never run out because you should always be spamming raise skeleton for the damage buffs and you get essence back while doing so.
Golem mastery on the chest is the most important damage bonus for golem, with a greater affix you can start out at rank 3 with golem mastery, at masterwork level 4,8, and 12 there is a chance to upgrade this number by 1 rank each time if you are lucky, just leveling up to 12 it will upgrade by one level even if you don't hit it. If you are able to hit it though you could potentially get rank 7 out of this if you are lucky at masterwork 12. Basically, you want to rank this as high as possible for the most damage. So, it is best to try and hit this at rank 4 and if you don't hit it then you want to reroll your masterwork until you do hit it at 4 that way by level 12 masterwork you are guaranteed rank 5 at very least.
Saw a similar Golem guild named S4 Perfected Endgame Golem Smash feels like he just went more glass cannon that you so il wonder what your takes are on his strat. Imo can just be that he has pushed higher not that you are not capable of passing with this build
Cause honestly if he pushed past 118 I would almost guarantee it was with holy bolt which means nothing. With holy bolt this build could probably push to like 140 give or take.
@@XPGamess yeah he was actually using holybolts. Well the builds name is "S4 Perfected Endgame Golem Smash" his Paragon tree was abit interesting imo but im rly new to Diablo so was just wondering if you had any takes on the build. I just understood that if u run holybolts the elite mobs just get deleted by the trash mobs dying around them. So that was interesting :)
why scythe instead of 2h sword? i have a 2h sword and 2h scythe with same status, but 2h sword give me a bit more of crit dmg, which of the two should I use?

Cap is 100%, add all the crit chance you have on your gear plus 25% from the grasping aspect plus the 30% your minions get from the skill tree to see where your at.
I personally prefer mages; their clear is faster and while they don't have the slam, they melt everything... but as XP said, they're neck and neck from a performance perspective, as the maxroll pit ladder showed us.
I play hardcore and while both are good, I feel like mages are better for pit pushing so you can use the other blood golem option to have it take 30% of your damage, essentially an extra 30% DR, and with GA mage ranks on gloves and pants you can with a bit of grinding get +10-12 or even up to +14 mage mastery ranks, then get attack speed in other ways and use the %chance for mage to attack twice and gg
how are you at 112.4%+ attack speed for your minions? Are you referring to your golem being at 112,4%+, and your mages/warriors are under that? I get you are getting 25% from paragon for golem, 77.4% off gear, and 10% more for minions from paragon board. this would mean your minions (mages) are at 87.4%, not 100 right? they dont get golem's 25% from paragon do they? Is it a big deal that your mages/warriors are not getting 100% to maximize cult leader if so. Thanks
Decrep gives tons of cooldown reductions, slows which is crowd control and makes the enemies do a lot less damage. Iron maiden would basically do nothing for this build.
The only thing I disagree with is the scythe. Everyone always talk about the base damage, but the extra crit damage is more important for that golem slam.
I see what your saying but, the extra base damage you get from the scythe is then boosted by all of our extra damage sources and multipliers far outweighing 35% additive crit damage by a mile when all is said and done
It's just a waste of space, they do no damage in comparison to the golem, they are just meat shields that proc our blighted aspect even with mastery they would do no damage really and also they dont need the extra life we are constantly spamming raise skeleton so there survivability is not an issue.
@@XPGamess well I try this.. because it makes life easier than trying to find gears with +skill for everything.. and I stuck at the moment of whether to upgrade a gear or not because of the lack of stats or GA.
Hey dude, just want to shout out.. tested your paragon and removing the +skeleton skill. Replace with armor or other stats.. it work better esp the golem now have 2.6k% more.. (I haven't upgrade alot) plus my luck to masterwork golem damage is bad.. but it's working better than my usual one.. What I worked differently is that I put lucky hit instead of size tendril etc.. and I use aspect of the damn. It seems to yield better result.. but I curious if lucky hit works for my minions
@@larrylumlarrylum5726 aspect of the damned is actually a bad choice for this build, we dont scale shadow damage, we scale physical damage. So really that would be a dead aspect. Yes we proc the shadowblight passive to trigger the blighted aspect which in turn boosts all of our damage by 240% but we only use that to boost our physical damage with golem since that is what we are invested in. We have nothing invested into shadow damage.

It's still a golem build because the golem is doing the overwhelming majority of the damage. The skeletons don't even come close to doing what the golem does. You can test it out yourself on the dummies. The reason we need the skeletons is because there are bonuses that come from having multiple minions, which end up affecting the golem. And also because skeletons help drawing monster attacks so we don't have to deal with getting hit as much. It's still possible to balance the damage out across all the minions, but they don't end up dealing nearly as hard as golem. Triple single-target damage with blood golem is too hard to compete against.
@@spliffzombonie But he is not using Holy bolt. One is health (Elixir of fortitude) and another is Antivenom from quest (also giving health and some Poison resists). @@XPGamess I'm assuming you meant golem damage? Thanks for reply. Very helpful.
@@SynjynB lol yes I will change that, golem damage
@XPGamess OK cool thx
Great guide.
Thank you very much for the guide!
I wanna try this build. Do you think i can swap the 10/30% dmg ring with the one that automatically casts corpse spells for a more chill pit run?
Swap out to ring of sacrilegious? yeah drop the aspect of inner calm if you're going to do that
Recently got a Shako with cooldown greater affix should I try and masterwork the cooldown or do all stats and max life
Nice, cooldown is top priority with life coming in second.
I have a similar set up but used frenzied dead instead of inner calm because I don’t know how to test if those attack speed to golem nodes actually count towards cult leader. If it does, I don’t need frenzied dead, but if it doesn’t, then I do. Have you looked into that?
Yes they work, I have tested with and without frenzied while having over the cap both ways and the damage is pretty consistently the same.
The new dog is a demon in hiding imo 😈 😅
Lol, right. Kinda like in the storyline where mephisto was the wolf.
Or Scrap Captain from Seven Deadly Sins
Can you help me understand how the shadowblight would proc if we don't have any active shadow skills we use?
Our mages deal shadow damage and so do our warriors thanks to the aphotic aspect.

That's actually an option I will be testing out, seems like it has potential

@anxxna4916 upgrade your glyphs to level 15.
is there a trick so i can click on stuff and open them with out casting
Yes in the options you can mess with your key binds. I would set your left click to move interact only then use a different key for that skill. You can set it up however you want too.
where do i go to farm the gear with stars on em? - edit - like the chest piece with golem star
The gear can drop anywhere honestly, long as you are high enough level to get 925 gear.
which is stronger shadow mage or golem pushing high pit?
I just cleared 130 with mages yesterday, I will have a guide out for it in the next couple hours. They are neck and neck

Crit damage is just additive damage like anything else.
I don’t see how rolling AS on gloves instead of CD benefits golem at all when I have AS on gloves amulet
So you stack the shadowblight passive only with your shadow mages?
With the mages and warriors using the aphotic aspect. I cover it in the gear and aspects section.
what happens when i run out of essence/on cd? do i just sit?
@@pyrographic380 you should never run out because you should always be spamming raise skeleton for the damage buffs and you get essence back while doing so.
Can you explain how your over capped with attack speed ? With your gear, minion attack speed + attack speed is only roughly 80%
Love the video btw great build trying to change over to 2h
Gloves 12.3, weapon 26.1, amulet 13.1, Ring 12.8, Ring 13.1, Paragon 35 = 112.4% Attack Speed.
@@XPGamess ahhh I completely forgot about the paragon ! Cheers mate keep up the good work !
im confused 4:50, what are you trying to say here?, I'm confused, you re rolled a greater affix?
@@XPGamess oh thanks, i thought you said re-roll, become you already know that re-rolling greater affix is a no no, so i got confused xd
@@RanjithKumar-Tips oh gotcha, yeah ment reroll the masterworking
Saw a similar Golem guild named S4 Perfected Endgame Golem Smash feels like he just went more glass cannon that you so il wonder what your takes are on his strat. Imo can just be that he has pushed higher not that you are not capable of passing with this build
My take is that this feels more stable.
Who's build and how far did he push?
Cause honestly if he pushed past 118 I would almost guarantee it was with holy bolt which means nothing. With holy bolt this build could probably push to like 140 give or take.
@@XPGamess yeah he was actually using holybolts. Well the builds name is "S4 Perfected Endgame Golem Smash" his Paragon tree was abit interesting imo but im rly new to Diablo so was just wondering if you had any takes on the build. His seems vry fragile, like yours better. And if u gain 15 ranks per Holybolt then iguess your build is still ahead xD.

You want to use 2h scythe, it does more damage
@@XPGamess thank you for guide. im loving play with this build.

How do I know if I'm at the cap for crit strike chance?
Cap is 100%, add all the crit chance you have on your gear plus 25% from the grasping aspect plus the 30% your minions get from the skill tree to see where your at.
@@XPGamess ty!
what the best? golem or mages?
They are both good honestly, neck and neck.
@@lancepowell1965 ^^ This
@@lancepowell1965 BTW which mage build did you follow/use to push?
how are you at 112.4%+ attack speed for your minions? Are you referring to your golem being at 112,4%+, and your mages/warriors are under that? I get you are getting 25% from paragon for golem, 77.4% off gear, and 10% more for minions from paragon board. this would mean your minions (mages) are at 87.4%, not 100 right? they dont get golem's 25% from paragon do they? Is it a big deal that your mages/warriors are not getting 100% to maximize cult leader if so. Thanks
Yes ment just the golem none of the other minions matter they are just meat shields and for proc'ing blighted aspect/corpse generation.
@@XPGamess thanks for clarifying that for me.
how does he get that yellow border around his char?
Go into options, then gameplay. It's about halfway down.
I only JUST got your other golem build lol
Why decreptify over iron maiden?
Decrep gives tons of cooldown reductions, slows which is crowd control and makes the enemies do a lot less damage. Iron maiden would basically do nothing for this build.
@@XPGamess thanks for the explanation much appreciated!
@@XPGamess I'd like to see a good test, but it's hard to isolate. You could be right but when I use a comparable scythe it always seems to do less.

You dont put skeleton mastery at all.. any reason not to bother with that +skill stat?
I'm sorry... I kinda don't get it

How is this a golem build? It's a minion build. Sacrificing the skeletons and only using the golem is a golem build.
Says who?
It's still a golem build because the golem is doing the overwhelming majority of the damage. The skeletons don't even come close to doing what the golem does. You can test it out yourself on the dummies. The reason we need the skeletons is because there are bonuses that come from having multiple minions, which end up affecting the golem. And also because skeletons help drawing monster attacks so we don't have to deal with getting hit as much.
It's still possible to balance the damage out across all the minions, but they don't end up dealing nearly as hard as golem. Triple single-target damage with blood golem is too hard to compete against.
No holy bolt but 2 elixer 😂
Yes, pretty much all builds that push high tiers of the pit use them, nothing new really.
What's confusing you friend?
holy bolt is so OP it's like having all the elixirs combined
