- NDSU VCell Production's animation "The Citric Acid Cycle: The Reactions". For more information please see vcell.ndsu.edu/animations.
In the matrix of the mitochondrion, the Citric Acid Cycle uses Acetyl CoA molecules to produce energy through eight chemical reactions. This animation provides a look at the substrates and products for each reaction in the pathway.
I have midterm exam tomorrow and didn't know if could answer questions about this cycle. but now i'm able evet to teach my friends too! thaaaaank you so much!!
this channel really save me from my biochemistry subjects...............definitely recommend it to my friends........
previously i was confuse what is krebs cycle but by watching this video and also the overview video,,,i fully understand what is this,,,,,,,,,salute to the producer of this animation!!!
such a fantastic explanation for the cycle. Great work, keep it up.
Best video Ive seen on this topic. Thank you!!
No doubts about this video. Great job ^^
Awesome animations, please make more for other cycles such as; Urea cycle, Pyrimidine and Purine synthesis, Amino Acid metabolism, lipid metabolism Thank you
WOW!!! THANK YOU FOR BEING FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! Learning should NOT be BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!
SO HELPFUL!
fantastic video thank you so much
It is good explanation for students. I am very glad. Thanks for this.......
Thank you this video helps out a lot, however, the MCAT book I'm using has more explanation on how these enzymes work FML. Regardless, this video helps with getting a clear visual of what reactions are involved!
THANKYOUUUU!
Amaaaaaaaaazing
Love ur channel
It is called TriCarboxylic ACID cycle because CITRATE has 3 carboxyl group.
Great info. Creepy intro.
Brock Spencer Agreed.
How owe some it was sir ,congrates to be a nice teacher
Thanks
please make more of these videos
This is so much more interesting than burying myself in a biochemistry book.
yes it is - im in 7th grade studing for science olympiad and the visual effect helped so much. but the info flew by so fast i had to rewind many times
I highly agree with the previous comment !
thaaaaaank you
The jingle really is creepy
why did you stop making videos? Please come back
so do ross and rachel end up together or not?!?!?
0:53 wrong CO2
That right angle CO2
What is GTP???
Guanosine triphosphate.
Yes, as amazing and praiseworthy is the production of this video, that pales by an incredible factor what they are actually describing. The comments should be, Wow! what complex design is in human and all life forms. Each tiny movement of a particle in all these steps needs intelligence and energy to know what to do and then do it. Who has the incredible faith to believe it all developed and happens by chance. I don't. I am a realist. We should be so humbled to see how amazing our Creator's work is.
+Jim Brubaker Awesome! AND SO FTRUE
Exactly! This complexity even at such a minute level shows irrefutable evidence of the beauty of God's creation
