slavery is not immoral according to the quran, bible, ot and other pre modern religion. with all due respect to brother Ali this is watered down explanation of islamic slavery. Our position is clear, slavery is forever permissible till the end of times and the means to acquire slaves is not only thru war or conquest but u can buy slaves in the market like u buy fruits and vegetables.
So many people don't even know that they are the modern slaves of governments and corporations, some people can't leave their jobs whenever they want or else they get sued and absolutely ruined, while normal citizens are expected to pay "Taxes" or else (you guessed it) jail time! Look up CAUCASIAN PEOPLE AND THE FIBINACCHI GOLDEN RATIO, then people will understand why black women are so angry, and why a white slave was worth two black slaves in the Arab world. White privilege is why the Arabs enslaved Europeans and castrated black slaves.

When the white missionaries came to Africa They forced christianity to Us We had the Land and they had the book They told us to pray with our eyes close When we opened our Eyes They had the land and we had the book ~Jomo kenyatta
what's crazy is that they used that same religion to justify that the blacks were not humans not even animals but worse than that, in France the definition they gave to a slave is a good that you can purchase and sell.
Islam did not ban slavery abruptly but it fought slavery in a deliberate manner by encouraging people to free slaves to such an extent that wealthy companions would buy slaves and then give them their freedom.
Be careful with your statement, as it suggests that slavery is banned/abrogated/abolished now. Sheikh Salih Al Fawzan حفظه الله was asked about this: Questioner: “O respected Shaikh, one of the contemporary writers is of the view that this religion, at its inception, was compelled to accept the institution of slavery of the days of ignorance.” Shaikh Salih al-Fawzaan: “I seek refuge in Allaah” Questioner: [Completing his question] “However, he has come from the angle that the doors to the various expiations and other matters which involve the liberation of slaves should be opened (i.e. that these affairs should be encouraged) gradually, until slavery finally ends. And following on from this, that the intent of the Legislator is to gradually end this institution of slavery. So what is your view on this?” Shaikh Salih al-Fawzaan: “These are words of falsehood (baatil) - and refuge is from Allaah - despite the fact that many of the writers and thinkers - and we do not say scholars - repeat these words. Rather we say that they are thinkers (mufakkireen), just as they call them. And it is unfortunate, that they also call them ‘Du’at’ (callers). And this (type of statement) is found in the tafsir of Sayyid Qutb in Dhilaal ul-Qura’aan. He says, “Islaam does not affirm slavery, but it only allowed it to remain out of fear that the people may turn to despotism, that they may disapprove of it’s abolition since they had been accustomed to it. Hence Islaam has allowed it to continue out of courtesy to the people” Meaning, as if Allaah was being courteous to the people, and then he alluded to its gradual removal until it is completely finished. These words are falsehood and (constitute) deviation (ilhaad) - and refuge is from Allaah. This is deviation and a false accusation against Islaam. And if it had not been for the excuse of ignorance [because] we excuse them on account of (their) ignorance, so we do not say that they are Unbelievers because they are ignorant and are blind followers who have merely quoted this saying without reflecting upon it, hence we excuse them on account of ignorance. Otherwise, these statements are very dangerous and if a person said them deliberately he would become apostate and leave Islaam. However, we say that they are ignorant people because they are but literary writers who have not learnt the knowledge. So they found this statement and rejoiced on account of it and then refuted the Unbelievers by it. Since the Unbelievers say that Islaam empowers some people (over others) and that it enslaves the people and that it… and that it… So they intended to refute them with this ignorance. And when the ignoramus refutes the enemy then he only increases the enemy in evil and hence the enemy holds more tightly to his falsehood. Refutation occurs by way of knowledge. It does no occur by way of sentiments or by ignorance. Rather it occurs by knowledge and evidence. Otherwise, it is obligatory for a person to remain quiet and not to speak in dangerous matters about which he has no knowledge. So these words are falsehood and whoever says them deliberately then he is an Unbeliever. As for the one who says them out of ignorance or due to blind following (of others), then he is to be excused due to his ignorance. And ignorance is a killing catastrophe - and refuge is from Allaah. Islaam has affirmed slavery and slavery is ancient and existed prior to Islaam and was present in the revealed religions prior to it. And it will continue so long as Jihaad in the path of Allaah exists.” Source: Cassette Recording dated 4/8/1416 and subsequently verified by the Shaikh himself with a few minor alterations to the wording.
What Islam really should’ve done was ban the practice of slavery the same way it banned many other things that were prevalent at the time. Saying it promoted freeing slaves doesn’t matter. It didn’t condemn slavery, didn’t deter people from practicing it, and even allowed women from conquered armies to be taken as sex slaves

What you're reffering to brother, is what happened after the battle of Badr, when the muslims held captive quraishis, then the prophet peace and blessings be upon him asked his companions what should they do with them. Umar ibn al Khattab may Allah be pleased with him suggested to execute them, with sahabas executing captives from their original tribes in quraish. Abu bakr may Allah be pleased with him, suggested to have 10 of these people teach valuable things to the muslims like for example blacksmithing or other valuable crafts, and then have the people of quraish come pay a certain price to free them (not 100% sure about this last part, Allah knows best). In the end, they chose the latest option alhamduliAllah !
Actually, that is a form of randsom, since at the time, there were many illiterates, like today if you take an engenier pow you can make him pay his randsom, by becoming a professor for a certain time.

@@insanityfreedom2953 Zina is having "unlawful" intercourse with someone. Now, who is the one who legislates "What is lawful or unlawful?" Yes, you're correct. Allah, the Most Wise, is our Legislator. Allah has made it permissible to have intercourse with your wives and/or right hand possessions. Hence, both of the above mentioned ways would not be classified as unlawful i.e, would not be considered Zina.
The "Sheikh" Uthman is a deviant, who is opposing the manhaj of the salaf and praising the innovators. None of the salaf denied the age of Mother Aisha رضي الله عنها being 9. She was 6 when she was married to Rasool Allah صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم, and 9 when the marriage was consummated. This is something confirmed by her ownself, and there are numerous authentic ahadith, that show us that she was definitely 9, like her playing with her dolls (towards the last years of Rasool Allah صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم on Earth). Those who interpret her age to be 19 or 18 have given into the pressure by the west, so they try to please the critics by making such interpretations, but eventually end up causing even more confusion and ruining the image of Muslims, making them look as "apologetics". Wallahi, we don't need such interpretations, we have the Truth, we have the deen of Allah, and we stand by it. Listen to Sheikh Salih Al Fawzan حفظه الله on the age of marriage, an actual scholar of Ahlus Sunnah. He clarifies it very clearly. Allah سبحانه وتعالى says (interpretation of the meaning): And those of your women as have passed the age of monthly courses, for them the ‘Iddah (prescribed period), if you have doubt (about their periods), is three months; and for those who have no courses [(i.e. they are still immature) their ‘Iddah (prescribed period) is three months likewise, except in case of death]1. And for those who are pregnant (whether they are divorced or their husbands are dead), their ‘Iddah (prescribed period) is until they lay down their burden; and whosoever fears Allâh and keeps his duty to Him, He will make his matter easy for him. [Surah Talaq: Verse 4] So, clearly Allah سبحانه وتعالى has mentioned the 'iddah period for those who have not menstruated, which shows that their marriage is valid. And none from the Salaf differed, they all unanimously agree. Furthermore, we see that such marriages were common at the time of Sahabah. Summary: Marriage with girls of such age is perfectly halal and legislated by Allah سبحانه وتعالى, the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth. Stay away from the deviants, and stick to the manhaj of the salaf. Listen to the scholars like Sheikh Salih Al Fawzan حفظه الله, Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen رحمه الله, Sheikh Al Albani رحمه الله, Sheikh Ibn Baz رحمه الله etc. May Allah سبحانه وتعالى guide us all. Ameen.
@@HATL201 He never denied the age mentioned in the authentic Hadith. Ig, you should watch his video first before writing such long paragraphs. And no, he's not a deviant. Slavery in Islam is an indentured servitude under a just social contract that gives you more rights and freedoms than an average non-white person gets in USA (or any western country) in 21 century. And the only way to obtain slaves in Islam is to capture prisoners of war. There is no slavery in the western sense of a word in Islam. Being a slave in Islam is better than being a free non-white person in 21 century Western countries. Islam gradually abolished barbaric version of slavery (like western, christian type of slavery) and replaced it with Islamic version of slavery. *Slavery in Islam is a noble and benevolent institution which goal is to take care of people, eliminate poverty, educate people and bring them to Islam. And it has absolutely nothing to do with how slavery was practiced in the West.* Islamic slavery and Western slavery are as different as democracy in North Korea and democracy in Ancient Greece. Both claim to be democratic but we know that they are very different types of democracy. You can use a knife to murder and you can use a knife to make food. Just because someone (West, white people, christians) used a knife (slavery) for murder doesn’t mean that we should view having knives as something bad and ban knives altogether. Being a slave in Islam was always seen as a prestigious position of power and influence. And this is why slaves in Islam created and governed many great empires such as the Ghaznavid Empire, Khwarazmian Empire, Delhi Sultanate, Mamluk Sultanate, etc. ❗️ Few facts about achievements of slaves in Islam : Slave-governed Mamluk Sultanate crushed Mongol Empire at the peak of their power (13 century) and singlehandedly ended Christian Crusades by wiping out remaining Crusader states and obliterating their armies so bad that they never recovered. Slaves in Islam also directly controlled and governed for 2 centuries the greatest superpower of it’s time - Ottoman Empire, a period which is known as Sultanate of women (referring to slave concubines). And since 17 to early 19 century same Ottoman Empire was ruled by Jannisaries (slave soldiers) who had so much power that they murdered an actual Sultan (and not only one) when he became outraged at becoming "subject to his own slaves" and tried to disband the Janissaries (slave soldiers). Slaves in Islam achieve more than Western non-white free people could ever dream of achieving in the West.
I disagree with a few assumptions you made but yes you’re right, it’s not the slavery as the known in the west. It’s also practical and just. Now where you’re wrong. The purpose is not to educate people people and stuff. The purpose is to reward those who were willing to lay their lives. these people are still owned, despite the rights islam give them. They are to be used according.
@@abdula16 Purpose is to educate them about Islam and bring them to Islam. It’s literally in the hadith : Bukhari 5083, 4557, Riyad Salihin 1839. Don’t make up stuff without evidence.
@@ElyasQuick1 you have no evidence for that. The hadith doesn’t say that’s the reason. If that was the reason, it would have obligated it instead of encouraging it. The purpose of the slavery is similar to that of paying the jizyah. It’s to honor/reward the Muslims and humiliate the kuffaar. The good effects that come from that isn’t necessarily the reason.

Making fun = "joking" about someone's situation, attributes, characteristics, actions etc. in order to laugh, entertain or amuse yourself or others.
So this kind of "joking" about someone's race/color IS making fun of it.
Now be honest, do not expect a back and forth debate because the truth has been made clear to you now.
Be a man now and accept your comments were disgusting and make taubah or keep doing the disgusting thing you did and give Allah the same excuse when you meet Him.
May Allah guide us all.
That was very interesting. I'm not a Muslim, and I've heard the slavery criticism many times. Thank you for a great question and a clear answer.
If you don't mind, read and challenge Quran intellectually, then ask questions about ambiguous and historical verses.
All prophets, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Mohamed, and others brought same religion from God. The main message has been worshiping one God and doing good deeds...May God guide us before our expiration dates
The women of the right hand also gave birth to some of the most prominent people in Islam including Khalifa's.
slavery is not immoral according to the quran, bible, ot and other pre modern religion. with all due respect to brother Ali this is watered down explanation of islamic slavery. Our position is clear, slavery is forever permissible till the end of times and the means to acquire slaves is not only thru war or conquest but u can buy slaves in the market like u buy fruits and vegetables.
@@Beraksekebon21you're wrong. Please treat your ignorance.
@@Beraksekebon21how or from where did you get those slaves to sell in the market?? You have an answer???
And to add on, Islam completely forbids the biggest avenue towards modern day slavery which is riba based loans
So many people don't even know that they are the modern slaves of governments and corporations, some people can't leave their jobs whenever they want or else they get sued and absolutely ruined, while normal citizens are expected to pay "Taxes" or else (you guessed it) jail time! So much that people HAVE TO rely on "Interest" to make the day which makes it even worst and now suddenly the bank requires them to pay 200% in Interest or else (again!) JAIL TIIIIME!, this is ironically far far more humiliating than what they're pointing at
💯
hahahahaahah, why are muslims illegally entering the United states?
Look up CAUCASIAN PEOPLE AND THE FIBINACCHI GOLDEN RATIO, then people will understand why black women are so angry, and why a white slave was worth two black slaves in the Arab world. White privilege is why the Arabs enslaved Europeans and castrated black slaves.
a question. whose answer i dont see anywhere. is the wife`s permission not needed for this? like imagine being a wife and finding out ur husband slept with a slave.
When the white missionaries came to Africa
They forced christianity to Us
We had the Land and they had the book
They told us to pray with our eyes close
When we opened our Eyes
They had the land and we had the book
~Jomo kenyatta
great quote.
Except Christianity was in Africa way before Europeans came. Read the book of Acts.
Interesting history there
Who gave you book of Act is it not the white
what's crazy is that they used that same religion to justify that the blacks were not humans not even animals but worse than that, in France the definition they gave to a slave is a good that you can purchase and sell.
Islam did not ban slavery abruptly but it fought slavery in a deliberate manner by encouraging people to free slaves to such an extent that wealthy companions would buy slaves and then give them their freedom.
🤲🏼👍🏼
Be careful with your statement, as it suggests that slavery is banned/abrogated/abolished now.
Sheikh Salih Al Fawzan حفظه الله was asked about this:
Questioner:
“O respected Shaikh, one of the contemporary writers is of the view that this religion, at its
inception, was compelled to accept the institution of slavery of the days of ignorance.”
Shaikh Salih al-Fawzaan: “I seek refuge in Allaah”
Questioner:
[Completing his question] “However, he has come from the angle that the doors to the various
expiations and other matters which involve the liberation of slaves should be opened (i.e. that these affairs
should be encouraged) gradually, until slavery finally ends. And following on from this, that the intent of the
Legislator is to gradually end this institution of slavery. So what is your view on this?”
Shaikh Salih al-Fawzaan:
“These are words of falsehood (baatil) - and refuge is from Allaah - despite the fact
that many of the writers and thinkers - and we do not say scholars - repeat these words. Rather we say that
they are thinkers (mufakkireen), just as they call them. And it is unfortunate, that they also call them
‘Du’at’ (callers). And this (type of statement) is found in the tafsir of Sayyid Qutb in Dhilaal ul-Qura’aan.
He says, “Islaam does not affirm slavery, but it only allowed it to remain out of fear that the people may turn to
despotism, that they may disapprove of it’s abolition since they had been accustomed to it. Hence Islaam has
allowed it to continue out of courtesy to the people” Meaning, as if Allaah was being courteous to the people,
and then he alluded to its gradual removal until it is completely finished.
These words are falsehood and (constitute) deviation (ilhaad) - and refuge is from Allaah.
This is deviation and a false accusation against Islaam.
And if it had not been for the excuse of ignorance [because] we excuse
them on account of (their) ignorance, so we do not say that they are Unbelievers because they are ignorant and are blind followers who have merely quoted this saying without reflecting upon it, hence we excuse them on
account of ignorance.
Otherwise, these statements are very dangerous and if a person said them deliberately he would become apostate and leave Islaam. However, we say that they are ignorant people because they are but literary writers who have not learnt the knowledge. So they found this statement and rejoiced on account
of it and then refuted the Unbelievers by it.
Since the Unbelievers say that Islaam empowers some people (over
others) and that it enslaves the people and that it… and that it… So they intended to refute them with this ignorance. And when the ignoramus refutes the enemy then he only increases the enemy in evil and hence the
enemy holds more tightly to his falsehood.
Refutation occurs by way of knowledge. It does no occur by way of
sentiments or by ignorance.
And it will continue so long as Jihaad in the path of Allaah exists.”

War captives were a tradition in all nations at that time.
The speaker forgot to mention the first option which is to teach 10 people how to read and write. If the captive is a literate person
Not true
right
What you're reffering to brother, is what happened after the battle of Badr, when the muslims held captive quraishis, then the prophet peace and blessings be upon him asked his companions what should they do with them.

@@maryambokhari1028 This cannot happend I think. Slaves only can be taken from enemies in war, and the ones who came with them. Surly their wifes are not there, maybe only women who can heal the Muslim combatents. There is much about this that we cannot understand, Allah knows. He has the full picture. Essentialy a husband is going to be a martyr, is a hard situation but a blessed one. THE BEST FOSTER CARE system ever devised by the CREATOR for assimilating the non-combatants of the enemies of Muslims who waged unjust wars against Muslims, while also compensating for the damages in life and property inflicted upon Muslims by the enemies. It's basically a form of employment with GUARANTEED payment of basic needs (housing, food, clothing, healthcare) for those assimilated into Muslim societies. Without that, these same people would fare a lot worse without their men who have been defeated in wars that they unjustly engaged in.
What a beautiful conversation❤

How about having intercourse with your right hand possess is it zina? I’m pretty sure the video doesn’t covered this issue
@@insanityfreedom2953 Zina is having "unlawful" intercourse with someone. Now, who is the one who legislates "What is lawful or unlawful?"
Yes, you're correct.
Allah سبحانه وتعالى says (interpretation of the meaning):
And those of your women as have passed the age of monthly courses, for them the ‘Iddah (prescribed period), if you have doubt (about their periods), is three months; and for those who have no courses [(i.e. they are still immature) their ‘Iddah (prescribed period) is three months likewise, except in case of death]1. And for those who are pregnant (whether they are divorced or their husbands are dead), their ‘Iddah (prescribed period) is until they lay down their burden; and whosoever fears Allâh and keeps his duty to Him, He will make his matter easy for him.
[Surah Talaq: Verse 4]
So, clearly Allah سبحانه وتعالى has mentioned the 'iddah period for those who have not menstruated, which shows that their marriage is valid. And none from the Salaf differed, they all unanimously agree.
Furthermore, we see that such marriages were common at the time of Sahabah.
Summary:
Marriage with girls of such age is perfectly halal and legislated by Allah سبحانه وتعالى, the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth.
And it has absolutely nothing to do with how slavery was practiced in the West.*
Islamic slavery and Western slavery are as different as democracy in North Korea and democracy in Ancient Greece.
❗️ Few facts about achievements of slaves in Islam :
Slave-governed Mamluk Sultanate crushed Mongol Empire at the peak of their power (13 century) and singlehandedly ended Christian Crusades by wiping out remaining Crusader states and obliterating their armies so bad that they never recovered.
Islam isn't slaving anyone though because we are all slaves to God.
@@abdula16The issue still hold why hold someone against his will still ungodly and unholy.
And still doesn't change the fact both were lethal to blacks and ungodly.
may ALLAH reward you brother!
