Have to agree I stopped praying started sinning and living pretty much like a kafir. Thought would feel free nope I became depressed sad empty and suicidal. Since I started praying again all of this is behind me now. I know many people have been in the same situation as me too

The first meeting of the angel Gabriel tells you a lot about the honesty of our prophet . He went down to his wife terrified of what happened with him . He could have told her that he saw an angel and it was a good meeting and he became a prophet . It was a natural reaction of an honest human being .
Yes and it shows how The Prophet(SAW) looked to his wife Khadija(RA) as his comfort and confided in her. Which she gave him, her wisdom and comfort. That is the beauty of the love between hubsand/wife, man and woman.

I'm also big on animal welfare. I always felt compassion for animals but didn't actively start taking care of them until I came across Prophet(PBUH)'s hadith on the topic. My husband, a revert, was also deeply influenced by Islamic teachings on kind treatment of animals so he went and set up a feeding station for stray cats and other animals in one corner of our yard. We also feed and water birds. Even if ants or other critters make their way into the house in summertime, we make an effort to take them out without harming them. Its an amazing feeling to know that we're being kind to Allah's creation.
Same any bugs in the home I catch to release outside😊 I remember as a child we gave water to a stray cat every day. When I look at my cats eyes she is so innocent and pure, I cry. I love animals so much.

We also have another Non-Islamic sources like the Christian scholar Thomas prebyster who talked about Muhammad during his period. Also the armenian scholar Sebeos, who also talked about him. There's also one more which has persian origins but I'm forgetting his name.
There's also a letter sent to some Orthodox Christian church in Arabia or Sinai Peninsula (I forgot exactly where the church is located) which is still here to this day.

I am a revert and at first I also found the Quran quite daunting because I was not familiar with the layout, format and also the presence of some stories and events. I was gifted a Quran in Egypt maybe about 12 years ago called “The Holy Quran - English Translations of the meaning and commentary” It includes footnotes, which completely changed my world! I read and at the same time refer to the footnotes to understand what is being said, who it’s being said to and what point in time is being referred to. This specific translation is probably more suited to higher academic readers, however don’t let that put you off, as although I found it a little challenging in the beginning I have also grown to love it and I am acquiring the most in-depth knowledge. Within the 1st 2nd century, the gospels have been spread all across Europe, middle east and Africa and they all unanimously agree on what Jesus said and who wrote what. Will, if Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was suffering from delusions of grandeur, he would have lived like an emperor and yet he lived a very simple life like a poor person until his death even after he became the de facto head of the Muslim nation. Look at 3D recreations of his home and clothes. Even visiting dignitaries from the Roman and Persian empires were shocked by his humility and simple lifestyle. If he had been schizophrenic and the Quran was something he wrote he wouldn't have been able to write coherently for the 23 years that it took for the Quran to be revealed. Many independent scholars admit the eloquence of the prose of the Arabic Quran surpasses even the best Arabic literature, no serious literary critic has suggested it is the work of a delusional madman. As for women's rights, i am a veiled Muslim woman living in London. I'm a Brit, like you. I love my veil because i believe I'm following God's commands and it's an empowering feeling knowing I decide who looks at my face and body. I don't dress up to please others. My outer appearance doesn't define my self worth. You'll find practicing Muslim women don't suffer from the different forms of social neurosis that are widespread in the general society - e.g. eating disorders, because our self worth comes from obedience to God and it doesn't matter if the whole world is against us. You could just notice the mosques that were established from western China to Andalusia (currently Spain and Portugal) through Iran, Egypt, India and Morocco in the world within the first hundred years of the death of the Messenger PBUH, which have a unified direction towards Mecca, and in which the same five daily prayers are practiced in the same way, in which the same Qur'an is recited in its original language (Arabic) without adding or subtracting a single letter for more than 1,232 years from its inception to the present day, with the differences of nations, races, and tongues whom testified Mohammed's (PBUH) prophet-hood in the call of prayer is a sufficient evidence of his existence and truth, where it is impossible for generations from different nations, different races, and different civilizations to be convinced to bear witness to a foreign man’s message without him being a messenger prophet, for what is the interest of the Chinese Uighur, or the Asian Turks in the first place, or the South Asian Indonesians, or the Senegalese, Somalia, and other African peoples? Who converted to Islam in recognition of a man to whom they had no lineage, civilization, language or history in admitting him as a prophet?. In conclusion it is God's Will. May God Guide us All.

First of all when I found out about Muhammad I heard about his early life Then I found out he married Khadejah and he sold for her I thought wow he did the work I do I also heard how honest in his dealings he was He was not an educated man so how could he make anything up To me this is proof the recitation of the Quran is true. May Allah guide you! Islam is most definitely the truth. So accept it, and do not wait. Every time I let a non-Muslim listen to the Quran and read the translation, they have this look on their face, and they are bewildered. That is because they know this is not the speech of a man, but of God. I mean, just look at the ring structures of the Quran or the numerical patterns, or the prophecies in Islam. It’s spot on. To deny it, is living a lie, and those who live in a lie are doomed in the end because they are in big trouble from God.
If you read & study the Quran you will be 100% sure that Prophet Muhammad SAW is real. The Quran itself is also one of the many unrejectable evidences.

i am muslim born muslim , and have been raised with 7 brother and my grandfather and i am very grateful i have been born muslim alhamdulilaah , i have been treated and thought very well my about my right in islam and the principles in live very well, my allah grand my grandfather janadul firdoos for treating me like a prince for all his life , i hated when people say islam women are not treated well, its literally the opposite , now that i lived in the western world i can clearly see the difference alx for allah choosing me to be born in muslim.
The comment about the quran being inaccessible is interesting. As a Muslim I've recently realised or felt that the quran is meant to be studied. You're meant to engage with it and to try and understand, then you'll benefit all the beautiful messages and guidance. It requires you to be active rather than passive.. Just like we should actively submit. I'm so glad I can return to the quran so many times and learn more and more. It's like infinite wisdom, subhanallah.

About 60 years ago “Islam” in America didn’t have this reputation but was seen as a “Black” religion since the Nation of Islam was their introduction to Islam. Or it was seen as a desert Arab religion Then the wars, terrorism, etc. so reputation changed once again

So much domestic violence in the western worlds with such high divorce rates is this something that Christianity teaching? No religion teaches oppression. In fact islam gives women their rights. In history when women could not purchase and own property in the west, islam allowed for a women to be an owner of the real estate. Islam liberated women giving them their rights. Quran states men and women are equal in front of Allah and only the piety grants the higher rank and honor.

He mentions visions that are delusions 8:25 but isn’t that what Paul’s claims are? He claimed to have a vision of Jesus (pbuh) and ran with it. Why do Christians not claim he was delusional or mentally ill? I find it funny how so many Christians don’t question their religion but come to ours
To me personally, even tough I am born Moslim, I am not practical. But to me sinds childhood, Islam is something stuck deep inside me, to me Islam is something that teached me about goodness, and to me Islam is a fight for justice and resistance of oppression. Even tough I don't look like Moslim, and I live in Europe, I was never ashamed when I was asked about religion, to say I am Moslim. Even tough I am not good Moslim, everytime someone talked bad about Islam, I felt the need I had to defend it. Especially now, reading all the bad comments about Islam, and especially about prophet Mohammed, it hurt me. And I knew, I had to study about it, about his life, and if what those who talk bad about Mohammed are right or wrong. What haters of Islam like to say is Aisha was 6 or 9 to make Mohammed look like Pedo. after I learned that Mohammed actually had first wife when he was around 25 and she was much older around 40+, and that he had 8 wife's before Aisha I understood his marriege to Aisha was not about lust, she was daughter of his friend Abu Bakkr. As she was so much younger she would be the best to preserve Mohammeds knowledge and teaching, another fact that Mohammed and Aisha didn't have any kids made me even more sure that this had nothing to do with lust.

I mean Quran is a book which claims that it’s the verbatim words of The One True God, and you only need the minimum amount of human intellect to test out such a huge claim. مُّحَمَّدٌ رَّسُولُ اللَّهِ ۚ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ أَشِدَّاءُ عَلَى الْكُفَّارِ رُحَمَاءُ بَيْنَهُمْ ۖ تَرَاهُمْ رُكَّعًا سُجَّدًا يَبْتَغُونَ فَضْلًا مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَرِضْوَانًا ۖ سِيمَاهُمْ فِي وُجُوهِهِم مِّنْ أَثَرِ السُّجُودِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ مَثَلُهُمْ فِي التَّوْرَاةِ ۚ وَمَثَلُهُمْ فِي الْإِنجِيلِ كَزَرْعٍ أَخْرَجَ شَطْأَهُ فَآزَرَهُ فَاسْتَغْلَظَ فَاسْتَوَىٰ عَلَىٰ سُوقِهِ يُعْجِبُ الزُّرَّاعَ لِيَغِيظَ بِهِمُ الْكُفَّارَ ۗ وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ مِنْهُم مَّغْفِرَةً وَأَجْرًا عَظِيمًا [٤٨:٢٩] Muhammad is the messenger of Allah; and those who are with him are strong against Unbelievers, (but) compassionate amongst each other. Thou wilt see them bow and prostrate themselves (in prayer), seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. On their faces are their marks, (being) the traces of their prostration. This is their similitude in the Taurat; and their similitude in the Gospel is: like a seed which sends forth its blade, then makes it strong; it then becomes thick, and it stands on its own stem, (filling) the sowers with wonder and delight. As a result, it fills the Unbelievers with rage at them. Allah has promised those among them who believe and do righteous deeds forgiveness, and a great Reward.

The first meeting of the angel Gabriel tells you a lot about the honesty of our prophet . He went down to his wife terrified of what happened with him . He could have told her that he saw an angel and it was a good meeting and he became a prophet . It was a natural reaction of an honest human being .

I'm also big on animal welfare. I always felt compassion for animals but didn't actively start taking care of them until I came across Prophet(PBUH)'s hadith on the topic. My husband, a revert, was also deeply influenced by Islamic teachings on kind treatment of animals so he went and set up a feeding station for stray cats and other animals in one corner of our yard. We also feed and water birds. Even if ants or other critters make their way into the house in summertime, we make an effort to take them out without harming them.
Its an amazing feeling to know that we're being kind to Allah's creation.
Same any bugs in the home I catch to release outside😊
I remember as a child we gave water to a stray cat every day.
When I look at my cats eyes she is so innocent and pure, I cry.

We also have another Non-Islamic sources like the Christian scholar Thomas prebyster who talked about Muhammad during his period. Also the armenian scholar Sebeos, who also talked about him. There's also one more which has persian origins but I'm forgetting his name.
There's also a letter sent to some Orthodox Christian church in Arabia or Sinai Peninsula (I forgot exactly where the church is located) which is still here to this day.

I am a revert and at first I also found the Quran quite daunting because I was not familiar with the layout, format and also the presence of some stories and events. I was gifted a Quran in Egypt maybe about 12 years ago called “The Holy Quran - English Translations of the meaning and commentary” It includes footnotes, which completely changed my world! I read and at the same time refer to the footnotes to understand what is being said, who it’s being said to and what point in time is being referred to. This specific translation is probably more suited to higher academic readers, however don’t let that put you off, as although I found it a little challenging in the beginning I have also grown to love it and I am acquiring the most in-depth knowledge. Will, if Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was suffering from delusions of grandeur, he would have lived like an emperor and yet he lived a very simple life like a poor person until his death even after he became the de facto head of the Muslim nation. Look at 3D recreations of his home and clothes. Even visiting dignitaries from the Roman and Persian empires were shocked by his humility and simple lifestyle. If he had been schizophrenic and the Quran was something he wrote he wouldn't have been able to write coherently for the 23 years that it took for the Quran to be revealed. Many independent scholars admit the eloquence of the prose of the Arabic Quran surpasses even the best Arabic literature, no serious literary critic has suggested it is the work of a delusional madman. As for women's rights, i am a veiled Muslim woman living in London. I'm a Brit, like you. I love my veil because i believe I'm following God's commands and it's an empowering feeling knowing I decide who looks at my face and body. I don't dress up to please others. My outer appearance doesn't define my self worth. You'll find practicing Muslim women don't suffer from the different forms of social neurosis that are widespread in the general society - e.g. eating disorders, because our self worth comes from obedience to God and it doesn't matter if the whole world is against us. You could just notice the mosques that were established from western China to Andalusia (currently Spain and Portugal) through Iran, Egypt, India and Morocco in the world within the first hundred years of the death of the Messenger PBUH, which have a unified direction towards Mecca, and in which the same five daily prayers are practiced in the same way, in which the same Qur'an is recited in its original language (Arabic) without adding or subtracting a single letter for more than 1,232 years from its inception to the present day, with the differences of nations, races, and tongues whom testified Mohammed's (PBUH) prophet-hood in the call of prayer is a sufficient evidence of his existence and truth, where it is impossible for generations from different nations, different races, and different civilizations to be convinced to bear witness to a foreign man’s message without him being a messenger prophet, for what is the interest of the Chinese Uighur, or the Asian Turks in the first place, or the South Asian Indonesians, or the Senegalese, Somalia, and other African peoples? Who converted to Islam in recognition of a man to whom they had no lineage, civilization, language or history in admitting him as a prophet?. In conclusion it is God's Will. May God Guide us All.

The comment about the quran being inaccessible is interesting. As a Muslim I've recently realised or felt that the quran is meant to be studied. You're meant to engage with it and to try and understand, then you'll benefit all the beautiful messages and guidance. It requires you to be active rather than passive.. About 60 years ago “Islam” in America didn’t have this reputation but was seen as a “Black” religion since the Nation of Islam was their introduction to Islam. Or it was seen as a desert Arab religion

So much domestic violence in the western worlds with such high divorce rates is this something that Christianity teaching? No religion teaches oppression. In fact islam gives women their rights. In history when women could not purchase and own property in the west, islam allowed for a women to be an owner of the real estate. Islam liberated women giving them their rights. Quran states men and women are equal in front of Allah and only the piety grants the higher rank and honor.

As a person raised in a catholic convent, the Quran was surprising to me, all the prophetic stories are basically the same… so I found it really familiar… and clarifies the weird and illogical idea of the trinity… One God… simple… ❤❤❤ I don’t need to go to a strange man to confess my sins to speak to God… weird that… I can go direct and have a personal relationship… instead of it being dictated by humans…

To me personally, even tough I am born Moslim, I am not practical. But to me sinds childhood, Islam is something stuck deep inside me, to me Islam is something that teached me about goodness, and to me Islam is a fight for justice and resistance of oppression. Even tough I don't look like Moslim, and I live in Europe, I was never ashamed when I was asked about religion, to say I am Moslim. Even tough I am not good Moslim, everytime someone talked bad about Islam, I felt the need I had to defend it.
Especially now, reading all the bad comments about Islam, and especially about prophet Mohammed, it hurt me. And I knew, I had to study about it, about his life, and if what those who talk bad about Mohammed are right or wrong.
What haters of Islam like to say is Aisha was 6 or 9 to make Mohammed look like Pedo. after I learned that Mohammed actually had first wife when he was around 25 and she was much older around 40+, and that he had 8 wife's before Aisha I understood his marriege to Aisha was not about lust, she was daughter of his friend Abu Bakkr. As she was so much younger she would be the best to preserve Mohammeds knowledge and teaching, another fact that Mohammed and Aisha didn't have any kids made me even more sure that this had nothing to do with lust.

Muhammad is the messenger of Allah; and those who are with him are strong against Unbelievers, (but) compassionate amongst each other. Thou wilt see them bow and prostrate themselves (in prayer), seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. On their faces are their marks, (being) the traces of their prostration. This is their similitude in the Taurat; and their similitude in the Gospel is: like a seed which sends forth its blade, then makes it strong; it then becomes thick, and it stands on its own stem, (filling) the sowers with wonder and delight. As a result, it fills the Unbelievers with rage at them. Allah has promised those among them who believe and do righteous deeds forgiveness, and a great Reward.

A man who did have messiah complex and his followers call themselves Muslim, his name is Mirza ghulam Ahmed. Compare directly his life to the prophet Muhammad pbuh.
