This is insane. So cool 😎 using unreal I beleieve I can do this with my unreal exr exports? I want to access different layers of my scene for using with super comp in AE.
Hey! Great little tutorial. Would there be a way to use a simple choker on the black&white 'matte only' footage? (Sometimes the matte leaves a 1 pixel border that needs some cleanup) Thx!
How do I select an object that is hidden behind another one? I have a scene with a window in front of the object that I want to select, but the window is blocking the other object to appear in the cryptomatte
If only all tuts were that short and to the point. Cheers for that!
Great video. Clearly and simply explained. Thanks Jake.
So much potential with this effect, had no idea it existed but I'm definitely going to try it out tonight! Thanks Jake!
Thanks Jake! This was the first time I had to look up an effect and there you were!
My plan is working.....
You are literally amazing!
COOL MAN!!!Nice tutorial!!
Never knew about this

Yes, absolutely. You can use simpler choker on anything with an alpha matte.

I don't think that's possible with a crypto matte because it doesn't support transparency.
