This video features the completion and review of the the resin Space 1999 Mark IX Hawk. Use of Alclad paint and application of custom decals are included.
It's been a long time since I even saw this, I was around during the original TV show airing so its quite cool for me, I remember wanting the model toys you could get just to play with them heh. this turned glorious really and all the little extras you did just push it right over the top.
very amazingly great job, not a fan of the show, but a major fan of the ships and moonbase! a few people I know who were back in the day collect and build these models, freak when they see I got one of these hawks. Wish I bought one when I had the chance, he he he!
😆 you made a cracking job of the kit mate, i watched the episode it featured in and ive got to say, exceptional mym8 😆, regards and respect from over the pond
Beautiful! Always wondered what the decal was they pulled that "Capital E" with the shortened bottom is from. The one located on top near the cockpit section.
+lightwavemikala Yeah....I couldn't make out the actual words from the pics of the studio model so I just made up my own. Thank you for your kind compliment and for watching
Thanks Richard. I didn't use the paragrafix set for this model. The cockpit was just scratchbuilt from my imagination. The paragrafix set is for the smaller 1/72 scale. Thank you for your compliment and for watching.
Fantastic job.
