Great review thank you, subscribed! I thought what you said about appreciating Damien’s dedication to film making was a solid reminder. We’re lucky enough to experience this in the moment and enjoy the experience as a fanbase. Really loved T3 tonight, wow 😮
I can't wait...I'm watching Terrifier tonight, then Terrifier 2 tomorrow night...and of course Terrifier 3 on Thursday at the theatre, Halloween month rocks!!!!!💀👻
Much love brother haven’t been here since the last Terrifier and the miserable ending of the Halloween franchise, great to be back! Appreciate your quick review!!
I won't eat anything, while watching Terrifier 3 like I did it when I watched The Substance, then I can imagine how disturbing this third part will be, I still remember getting scared when I saw Terrifier 2 as I was in the middle of the night after leaving movie theater, fortunately I took the subway to come back to home. Regarding David Howard Thornton, he would be a great Joker for a Batman's movie, I'll give him the opportunity to surprise us.
I was hoping you were going to rank them as Terrifier 3> Terrifier 2> Terrifier just because i am so excited to see this one and am hoping to like it more than the 2nd which will be super hard to top. Im like you, Terrifier 2 had that also fun 80s atmosphere in much of it even though it was set in modern times. But what you said about T3 being sad in areas lines up with them saying they were going back to darker roots. Im really excited to see this one though. Also, Sienna better not die. She needs to be around to be the Laurie/Sidney of this franchise.
@@WeWatchedAMovie Ok so i saw the movie last night and wow, what a ride. I have to agree with you that I think i prefer 2 because of the light hearted atmosphere in parts but i think thats only because this one felt very depressing. This one is a better made movie all around from acting to effects to story. But the sadness you mentioned I totally see why people would prefer 2. I almost prefer this one because of how dark it is. The ending felt very evil de ad to me in a way. This one may only be second to T2 because i would feel drained and very sad watching it but it was just too good. I can only imagine if the tone of part 4 gets even darker and they also mix more dark fantasy stuff with it like what we've gotten more glimpses of. oh and i dont think 1 of the characters is actually gone if you know what i mean...
Joker flopped like I figured it would. It's basically the director saying, "Screw you all, I didn't want to do another one of these damn movies." Salems Lot, well, you can see why it kept getting pushed and why it's just on MAX.
This is the Terrifier 3 review silly. lol JK But you didn’t like Salem’s Lot? I thought they did really well with it.. I watched it on Lucy though, so that probably enhanced it for me quite a bit. 😂
To me, Art is already slasher iconic and at the same legend status as the Freddy, Jason and Michael. Art is essentially an amalgam of all three. I'm excited to see how the franchise evolves.
I liked T3 more than T2. Sienna was so much better in this imo. Lauren really upped her game in this, even though she was still good in the second movie. This one she shined in my opinion. Jonathan also was acted well. Some of the little kid acting was off at times, and I didn’t necessarily enjoy the niece’s acting for a good stretch of the movie, but she did much better in the climactic scene. Don’t want to scrutinize a kid too much but the whole family unit part of the movie kinda threw me off early on so it took a little while for me to warm up to them.
Just saw this in the theater, my first Terrifier film in a theater, and man I loved this film. I fully welcome Art the Clown into the pantheon of all time great Slasher Villains along with Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees, Freddy Kruger and Ghostface. I think time will tell if he will be considered as classic as the other but Art is a classic slasher in my book! Can’t wait for Terrifier 4!!!
Happy to hear your review. Lots of others are giving 5/10 so I’m hoping this lives up to the hype. Hopefully the story is tight and we get more answers.
I think Terrifier 3 hit the #1 spot, one of the scariest slasher films I've ever seen. This film was way disturbing than anything I experienced before. But that's my opinion.
I'm so looking forward to this movie. And I'm glad you used the same phrase I used to describe that one scene in the first movie. This looks like a real winner.
I guess I'm one of those sickos. I'll tell ya what desensitized me... Jonah's death scene in Green Inferno. That scene is the gate way to desensitization haha.
And so incredibly unnecessary, the whole movie is just Eli Roth fellating himself with mean spirited violence and the idea that he’s making the spiritual successor to Cannibal Holocaust while completely missing the fact that the tribes weren’t slasher killers, they were people defending their home. The college kids did next to nothing to them so to have such mean kills felt really uncomfortable to watch and not in a good way. Brutality for the sake of brutality.
A theory I've had is that. I noticed that Jonathan's school mascot is a knight. I wondered if that was some sort of foreshadowing that if Jonathan might be a knight to. His dad had to of made a character for him too right? Just a speculation and I know it's a stretch.
Your last 2 minutes nailed what many haven’t expressed. The finale is too mean. It’s not the gore per se, it’s just the vibe. With a little restraint, I think the movies stakes could feel higher. When it starts at 11, it has no way to build. Idk. I like 2 a lot but this one didn’t quite hit like that did. Maybe it was my mood.
No, it seems like nothing is off limits. And Damien has said himself that there are lines within himself that he will not cross. When he brings the kills to life, he says they’re brought back about three steps. And as long as he is with Cineverse who distributes the Terrifier films to begin with they will grant Damien the full creative control over the franchise
I’m a huge horror fan. I’m seeing terrifier 3 this Sunday in theaters. I haven’t had butterflies to see a film in YEARS. They push the gore to the next level!
I was expecting a lil more answers with 3 but in reality it is technically number 2 in terms of story! The only real connection Terrifier has to the other last 2 is Vicky! I think we’ll get more answers in 4 and I can’t wait I plan on seeing T3 again in a week or two!
I'm glad you liked it. I personally feel these films are TOO much. I love horror films, love the classic slashers!! But these films have scenes that linger on the deaths like I'm watching the closest thing to a snuff film. I want to be scared, on edge, shocked and thrilled by a horror film, love watching gore in quick flashes (think of the murders in the original FRIDAY THE 13TH); I don't want to see humans suffering, and in long scenes of torture. Not my thing
Just back from seeing this movie in Scotland - yes Scotland get to show these movies in the cinema these days! Brilliant possibly my fav movie of the year, art was excellent, the practical effects were immense, only downside was Jonathan dying off screen - gutted, but great comedic moments and just really enjoyed it. A very John carpenter vibe to it, lots of amazing horror movie Easter eggs, and loved the Christmas theme!
I feel like a lot of Terrifier fans fall into two groups. Those that love the first one more than the second, and visa versa lol. I always thought it obvious that this sort of thing is called gorno. Like it or not, we want to see the kills. We want to have an experience. I suspect for most of us it's like going on a dangerous rollercoaster or bungie jumping to get that hit. Anyway, I wanted to like the sequel, but to me it wasn't even sorta-bad-but-absolutely-amazing, like the Evil Dead 2 for instance. It was way too long, and at least for me, the story elements felt like they were phoned in on a lark (But I do I think the director knows exactly what he's doing with this and I respect his vision, but I also think he's fine with meeting the audiences' desire for narrative since it makes the lead up to the kills feel more like we're watching a film.) only made waiting for Art to spring back into action excruciating. That said, as always, Art was absolutely creepy/hilarious and that's impressive! There were many scenes that were good, I just wished there had been an editor to make the vision more put together. The dialogue was awful. But it sounds like they hit the bullseye with this one, and I love it when an artist hits their groove. Great review and perhaps see y'all at the theater! ❤
some legit emotional moments sounds great to me! i got emotional at parts in 2, and i was hoping thered be more of that. aside from just resonating with me i also think thats a good choice to make it feel more intimidating even for us sickos who may be a bit shocked by extreme gore, but still arent brought out of our comfort zone by that. terror, fun and feels! gonna see it with my bf on halloween!!
Date night tonight! My husband surprised me with movie tickets and reservations to a really nice restaurant. I’m pregnant with our 4th child and we haven’t been out alone in a few years. My husband the romantic 😆
I know they gave him new contact lenses to make his eyes beadier and I’m pretty sure they’ve added prosthetics around the cheeks to make him look more menacing
In regards to what you said about him looking meaner, his look is scarier in the new one because he’s wearing contacts that make his eyes look demonic. I think it makes the whole look come together more.
👹🎅🏽 appreciate this balanced review. I'm happy for everyone involved in this franchise. It's success was a pleasant surprise and I am happy for them and their fans!!
I need a moment in the 4th or 5th movie where the events of all hollow’s eve to catch up with Siena and she starts having a break down freak out goes Dora the explorer and dead pool and have this freak out when she finds out her dad was killed by art it wasn’t suicide at all and see her reaction to finding out about the end of her dads life
@@WeWatchedAMovie I have no doubt I will. I heard art tops the bedroom scene in 2 so I’m prepared to have my mind blown. See you later on for the live stream.
We watched the movie last night with my husband and 10 year old son! And Art makes Michael Myers, and Pennywise look innocent 😂 But I wonder if the terrifier 4 is going to pick up from Christmas? I have lots of questions ❓ was it real? Sienna isn't sure what's real or not! So that's something to think about!!! That shower scene was crazy!! She definitely looked in a serial killer eyes 😂

I just love watching Mike, I’m gonna say this but you remind me alot like deadpool, your word delivery is just so perfect and funny i always have a great time watching these videos
DP is my favorite so I'll take that any day of the week lol thank you
I just hope we actually get story depth and character depth on art. Tell us is he supernatural? Is he possessed? Is he indestructible? I need that answer. We also need the answer to why he continues to pursue seanna? Is it because she keeps getting away and he's made for not finishing her off? Is it similar to halloween that they are potentially related?
I believe the whole thing is divine intervention. Her dad & her were chosen to be the destroyers of Art The Clown & The Devil himself.
I will say to temper those expectations for this entry for sure but I get you
@@WeWatchedAMovie damn. i might as well go fuck off then. 3 movies in and we still don't know what art truly is? Why he pursues the same victim. Ain't that a bag of bullshit.
@@ChiTownMade I hate how they are making Sienna this really important character, I don't care about her, I would rather have the clown have more screen time because he's actually fun, it really feels like Sienna has more screen time than art does, art should be the main character.
@@SattlenI agree with you on that I’m thinking the same thing wish they would show more of Art not her
Finally, the review i was waiting for🔥😂
😂 yes because all other reviews just talking about it’s bloody it’s gory and it good but don’t talk about the kills it was pissing me off but finally we watch watt finally told us the kills 😢
My husband and I are as well.
He has never heard of Terrifier.
I just told him it was a slasher film with a clown… he’s going to be in for a ride.
oh you are wrong lol I love it
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
can’t wait to see this! Hope you have a good rest of the week brother! See you guys soon at Scarefest!
you too pal! can't wait!
I could also see this one being peoples favorites. Its right up there with 2
@@WeWatchedAMovie Ok so i saw the movie last night and wow, what a ride.
Great review can’t wait for the livestream!
David’s micro expressions and nuances get better and better every film it’s WILD
Joker flopped like I figured it would. It's basically the director saying, "Screw you all, I didn't want to do another one of these damn movies." Salems Lot, well, you can see why it kept getting pushed and why it's just on MAX.
watch this clown movie instead ahahha
This is the Terrifier 3 review silly. lol
JK
But you didn’t like Salem’s Lot? I thought they did really well with it..
I watched it on Lucy though, so that probably enhanced it for me quite a bit. 😂
What does JOKER 2 have to do with TERRIFIER 3??
@laverdadescatolica5 at the end he said he was reviewing Joker 2 and Salems Lot.
@@MotU91775 oh snap! Sorry. I didn’t watch the video. Thank you for the info., sir 😊
1:04 now THAT is a description my boy
Love that you quoted Garth in Wayne's World. A childhood classic that I quote all the time to this day
Just saw this in the theater, my first Terrifier film in a theater, and man I loved this film.
Not a lot of answers yet but for me that's better....I feel like not knowing is half the fun as long as we get there eventually
I think Terrifier 3 hit the #1 spot, one of the scariest slasher films I've ever seen. This film was way disturbing than anything I experienced before. But that's my opinion.
Is this a good movie to see with the family and little ones?
Yes honestly show it at church
I'm so looking forward to this movie. And I'm glad you used the same phrase I used to describe that one scene in the first movie. This looks like a real winner.
Going next Tuesday front row cannot wait! Please don't faint on me anyone!
Im not a christmas guy, so I love movies like this that just make Christmas look as over hyped as it is.
oh man SAME other than kids getting the joy they deserve out of it Christmas is way overrated
@@WeWatchedAMovie I dont have kids and im not a kid person so it doesnt faze me one way or another about that.
Of course I see this review from you I’m going to watch. Solid review!
Awesome! Thank you!
A theory I've had is that. I noticed that Jonathan's school mascot is a knight. I wondered if that was some sort of foreshadowing that if Jonathan might be a knight to. His dad had to of made a character for him too right? Just a speculation and I know it's a stretch.
Awesome Review
Thank you!
My best kill was the shower scene chainsaw from behind straight no Diddy only thing was missing the baby oil 😂😂😂
Awesome vidoe Mike and Awesome to hear terrifier 3 rocks
Thanks buddy!
Is it worst than Human Centipide 2 no sensor? Wondering if it competes with it 😮
If Terrifier 4 somehow crosses the line over 3 could Damien get in trouble????
I kind of wish I did the double feature . Hopefully when 4 comes out they’ll do a marathon
tbh it would have been too much for me lol....I love my Terrifier but I don't need 4 hours in one day
Just back from seeing this movie in Scotland - yes Scotland get to show these movies in the cinema these days!
The terrifier series is like a bunch of Goregrind albums.
The only issue with 1 and 2 was run time. I enjoyed them, just thought they ran a little long. 2 more so than 1.
The Jim Carrey of horror fits him perfect, he was the Grinch in The Mean One
Favorite Christmas horror film PERIODTT !!
It's success was a pleasant surprise and I am happy for them and their fans!!
appreciate you watchin it!
I think the Lore was the 9th Circle.
I need a moment in the 4th or 5th movie where the events of all hollow’s eve to catch up with Siena and she starts having a break down freak out goes Dora the explorer and dead pool and have this freak out when she finds out her dad was killed by art it wasn’t suicide at all and see her reaction to finding out about the end of her dads life
I watched it yesterday with my family, ended up staying up the whole night
I am jealous I have to wait till Thursday to see that film. Everything I’m hearing I will love this film and can’t to see what Art has in store.
Hope you love it!
@@WeWatchedAMovie I have no doubt I will. I heard art tops the bedroom scene in 2 so I’m prepared to have my mind blown. See you later on for the live stream.
10 people walked out during the screening I was at
Hated the first one, didn't finish the second one, so probably won't see this one.
k moving on.
You had me at Vagisol
It was eerie leaving the theater in an empty Mall after it ended.
Nice one Garth
The end of the movie... Oh my God. I just wanted to scoop sienna in my arms and carry her to safety. It made me so sad
I’m seeing it Friday night! I can’t wait to finally see it! I’ll be rewatching Terrifier and Terrifier 2 this week to prepare for it.
Terrifier 2 is one of the best horror movies of all time.
This was the review I was waiting for
Thank you!
3:33 reminds me of when I ate chimichangas during august underground lmfao
We watched the movie last night with my husband and 10 year old son!
And Art makes Michael Myers, and Pennywise look innocent 😂
But I wonder if the terrifier 4 is going to pick up from Christmas?
I have lots of questions ❓ was it real? Sienna isn't sure what's real or not! So that's something to think about!!!
That shower scene was crazy!! She definitely looked in a serial killer eyes 😂
I hate that they offed Ned Stark even though it had to happen it still really sucked. He is one of my favorite characters in tv history.
Well you have gotten me very excited to see T3 , I typically align myself with you on a lot of movies and shows more so than any other UA-cam creator.
I have said this before but I always watch you and Jay review the Halloweens while I decorate for Halloween. I usual begin in September and would you believe my lazy ass still hasn’t even taken the H bins out. Hopefully I get more into the spirit after seeing T3 tonight.
Is anyone else feeling blah towards the holidays this year? 🎃
Rat scene the worst 😂
I’ll admit my stomach started feeling queasy during that scene. I’ve never had that happened before watching horror films, just crazy 😂
Movie climbing rope... Sidekicks? Also loved terrifier 3, solid 9 out of 10.
"Will he kill kids?!?"
Yes, he already killed kids in All Hallows Eve. Same method as well
