Gintoki is a monster, above average adult Yato fighters. Indeed Kamui is one of the three strongest Yato in the series, but none can keep up easily with Gintoki when there is someone to be protected
In all fairness, Gintoki did have help against Kamui, it's said that Kamui is strong enough to be worth about 50-100 Yato fighters. Gintoki is 1 of the very few humans strong enough to take on a Yato, let alone a Yato as strong as Kamui.
@@goodman6432 It depends his wooden sword is more durable than a real sword but if he had a real sword there would have been maybe chances you cut him up
It doesn't matter who win or loose but it is a fact that gintoki being a normal human took on one of the strongest yato, even gintoki was protecting kagura.
@@Lili586fr yea i've heard the spin-off series will start in autumn 2025, but that's quite a big amount of time to be waiting for. I hope Kamui won't get almost-to-no screentime like he always does. Like in the gintama final he hasn't been shown at all (except for the small glimpse in the end). This sucks so much.
@@Lili586fr unfortunately Kamui haters DO exist and i've been fighting them and their annoying toxic bullshit for years. Pitiful, ain't it?
ohhh I like this song.love kamui also cos I dream about him when I search google oh boy he is cartoon but I love him .not real but make me happy cos he is the man in my dream.
I will only say that gintoki if I beat the normal kamui, that is, the one from the entire series that we have always seen. And what was a 4 against 1 was kamui with yato blood, which literally is a lethal mode that increases combat skills but literally it doesn't matter if your body is badly injured, it will continue fighting, and what they say is still kamui so much kamui As everyone present recognizes that what he was fighting is his yato blood, that's why kamui at the end of the battle says stay away from my yato blood.
Why do everyone compare Gintoki's power with other characters in the show. Its clear he is the strongest among humans. 1.Shinpachi,Kondo,Tsukuyo, Elizabeth and Kyubei are not even close to him getting serious. 2.Kagura,Hijikata,Sougo,Mutsu,Isaburo and Nobume can give him good competition but will lose ultimately. 3.Katsura,Takasugi can go toe to toe with him but I think Gintoki is a little bit more powerful than them. 4.He will be wiped out in a one on one match with Kamui,Umibozu,Utsuro and Kouka.(Basically only Yatos) Why,because he had been fighting in war since he was a kid and far more experience than them who only got stronger by training without any life and death situation or physical and mental pain of a war.
Well, he was in the same level than Takasugi for a time, but Takasugi lost a eye, and well, this make Gintoki a bit more strong, and Katsura I think is in this level, I think in a versus between Gintoki with a real sword and Kamui, win Gintoki, because in this AMV, we watch Gintoki hiting Kamui with two trusts in head, with a real sword he kill him.
@@noahgallardo8507 I think before Gintoki could have hit Kamui's head with a real sword,it would have been broken. If you see every fight of Gintoki, his wooden sword somehow breaks real sword, that means unless it a special sword(Like Benizakura or Maganagi),normal sword can't effect Kamui. He can shatter any normal sword with his fists only.
@@kingsukhghosh1332 still confused on how jirocho cut gintoki's sword to pieces and how did he get it back plus there's a episode were kagura snaps the wooden sword in half with minimal effort
@@jacobdavidson9752 It's shown in previous episodes that his sword is sold online so getting another one isn't much of a problem for him. Now the wooden swords are not specifically strong and can easily be broken down by an ordinary sword, but however weak the weapon might be,if it's wielder is strong like Gintoki,it can be the most powerful weapons. The wooden swords isn't special at all,it's all about Gintoki's strength and skill with swords.
@@kingsukhghosh1332 in the end of the silver soul arc even gintoki has said that he's using a ordinary wooden sword I don't think we saw hosen trying to break it ( due to plot) and yh I don't think it gives him any advantages except sometimes being more durable then a normal sword. And when he's serious to wanting to kill he uses two swords as we saw in jirocho arc. So I think the wooden sword is nothing but a bit of durable wood lol it also reduces the sharpness of cutting.
Most of the people in the comments seem to be having discussions about Gintoki and Kamui's strength, and I'll offer my thoughts as well. I believe Kamui is stronger than Gintoki (as in, if Gintoki and Kamui were to spar 1v1 10 times, Kamui has a higher chance of winning more than 5). Responses to arguments in favor of Gintoki being stronger than Kamui: 1) Many people seem to doubt Kamui's strength after seeing him lose the upper hand against Gintoki multiple times during their fight. One way I think this can be explained by examining the context. Although Kamui has stated that he wanted to fight Gintoki in the past, when Kamui actually gets around to it, he just wants Gintoki to get out of the way because he's preoccupied with family issues. In other words, Kamui's not fighting Gintoki for fun, which results in his lack of focus and overall poor performance by trying to end the fight too quickly. Many people who claim that Gintoki is stronger than Kamui mention how Gintoki doesn't fight as well when he's angry (e.g. his fight against Jirocho where Otose's death distracted him and he lost, and they don't say that Gintoki is weaker than Jirocho) don't see or acknowledge that the same thing could be said about Kamui for the reasons I just mentioned. 2) Another common objection is that Gintoki was using a wooden sword, which put him at a disadvantage. Personally, I think Gintoki's wooden sword is not objectively weaker than a steel one. Lake Toya is made from some seriously strong wood, and although it probably doesn't do as well of a job slashing or stabbing as the steel sword, it makes up for that with its sturdiness and blunt damage (during Gintoki's fight with Takasugi, he shattered his steel sword). Now, I know that the opposite has also happened (e.g. the aforementioned Gintoki vs Jirocho fight where Gintoki's Bokuto broke), but there seems to be enough of a balance between both instances, which is why, regarding this point, I like to take the position that Gintoki's wooden sword does not at all put him at a disadvantage in a fight. 3) Gintoki is a war veteran who has much more experience than Kamui in fighting. I would agree with this, especially since Gintoki is about a decade older than Kamui, but it doesn't follow for me that this means Gintoki would win more often in a fight. Obviously, humans in Gintama are much stronger than humans in the real world, but there is still a limit on how physically strong a human can-or rather, should, since with a series this long, having no questionable writing in regards to power scaling is pretty unrealistic-get in the series. In this regard, Gintoki, as one of the strongest humans in the series, has most likely hit, or is very close to, the ceiling for human strength, given the aforementioned fact and that he's in his late twenties, which is definitely lower than the strength ceiling for Yato's. With more experience, Gintoki might be smarter and more clever than Kamui, which definitely increases his chances of winning, but I just don't see that being as important as physical strength, health regeneration, etc. in winning a fight, which are all in Kamui's favor.
Kamui is also faster, more durable and more agile (and if not counting his new Yato technique of qikong, which he also taught it to Kagura). Though everything you've said is agreeable no doubt, however, most people here are way too dumb and biased and oblivious to accept the truth.

@@simanto7168 Alright, let me put it this way: It doesn’t matter how much willpower a human has; a human will never beat a gorilla in a 1v1 fight barehanded.
