  • Puebla, Mexico blew our minds. We'll show you the best things to do outside in Cholula and Heroica Puebla de Zaragoza, including how to rent a bike for cheap, where to stop along the bike path, and the incredible lookout of the city from Los Fuertes.
    Puebla is also the site of the Battle of Puebla-the whole reason why Cinco de Mayo is a yearly celebration. Find out more about the history of Puebla in our Spanish podcast here: spanishandgo.com/podcast/the-...

    O wow that just shocked me, the police officer that is. Great you filmed, it a heads up when others are visiting from other countries that all rules are not the same elsewhere and we must respect the law even if still filming on the down low 😂

    Thanks for sharing. Are the recording restrictions specific to Puebla or does this happen in other areas of México? The park that you were stopped in didn’t seem like a very sensitive area.

      We have been the CDMX and Querétaro many times. But compared to the U.S., I think bike paths and open parks are much harder to come by.

    • @RioBahiaWilliams
      @RioBahiaWilliams 2 роки тому

      To be fair, the female officer did say that you could use your camera if you had a permit. This is very common in California, my children are involved in the movie and modeling industry and permits are required even for their photo shoots for headshots. Anyway thanks for all the great information, we just bought a house in San Pedro Choula so we will be visiting some areas we didn't know about before ✔️✔️✔️

    • @SpanishandGo
      @SpanishandGo  2 роки тому +3

      It’s not _all_ in English. There are several parts all in Spanish. But we didn’t create the UA-cam channel for people who already understand Spanish. 60% of people who watch us are beginners. If you want 100% Spanish, that’s why we created our podcast, Learn Spanish and Go. We have over 68 episodes so far. spanishandgo.com/podcast Thanks for watching! -Jim

      I understand where you’re coming from, but I don’t think that was the case in this situation. There were no threats of legal action or of a ticket being issued. We were free to go at any time. May and Alán are Mexican citizens and neither of them got the impression that the cop was looking for a handout. Thanks for watching! -Jim

    Así de exigentes se deberían de poner los policías para procurar la seguridad y justicia de nosotros, y no andar como mensos impidiendo que se graben en parques públicos, que, por cierto, solo es una forma más de sacar dinero con esos "permisos para grabar"
