- The plaintiff used to be best friends with the defendant. Unfortunately, the plaintiff says she paid the defendant to create a custom wig, but she still doesn’t have it. It’s been over a year, and the plaintiff wants a refund, so she’s suing. The defendant insists she completed the wig, but the plaintiff never picked it up.

No one, during court, or the interview after, challenged the defendant when she kept saying she was owed because she provided a service for the plaintiff. When did she provide it? She may, or may not, have made the wig. But she never gave it to the plaintiff. In my mind that's NOT providing a service. And she totally dodged the plaintiff when the plaintiff came to pick up the wig on the agreed upon date. The plaintiff is better off without a "friend" like that.

Me not acting, I was totally oblivious to all that... I am a man however, and now that I understand this wig thing , I feel that I am now more 🤓 smarter than previously was. I may even get one for myself 😜

@@bongoikno4994it’s not about “not being yourself”. Wearing wigs for a lot of people serves as more of a protective style rather than just a cosmetic. I can speak for a lot of people with hair like mine (4c) when it’s manipulated frequently, it results in the hair breaking and becoming damaged! Wigs allow you a lot of versatility all whilst keeping you natural hair underneath protected!😊

The plantiff was probably under 18 at the time that happened. The club probably let the defendant in because it was her b day and she was 20ish. Years ago I had a similar situation happen.

So.... the defendant invited all of her friends. The majority of them probably had fake id's. I'm sure the defendant knew what the plan was and even if she didn't she should have asked if everyone had fake id's to go in. If not, do something else.

I don't understand the defendant's reasoning for not wanting to pay the plaintiff. I was also confused at them meeting in between and the wig was never discussed or mentioned. There's more to this story.

Doug, people don’t only wear wigs because they don’t “look fabulous”, or even to make it longer. They wear them because most women like variety. There are also people with long hair who wear wigs with short cuts, because they like the look, but don’t want to cut their own, hair.

Ummm … maybe she didn’t want to talk to her in person to avoid getting into an altercation. Plus, the defendant is not a real friend anyway so there wasn’t much to salvage in the way of a friendship.

Exactly especially if some keep dodging you. If someone is dodging me I'm not gonna spend all my time chasing them just to tell them how I feel.
But calling or in person provides more context, tone, facial expressions, etc. It gives the opportunity for reconciliation and understanding. You don't get any of that in text. And often people misinterpret meaning or ascribe hurts from their past to words in a text that are not there. People who value life, friends, and family go the more personal and caring toys.
