LSU Purple

Its August 1st, and I've ripened my first LSU Purple fig of the year. LSU Purple is a good variety for the east coast. It is a reliable producer of figs year after year. The taste of LSU Purple is supposed to improve as the tree gets older.

I hear that they are best when super ripe as well. Someone told me “two days past ugly” a few weeks ago. Lol
I have two trees now. One is going into tue ground next year.
