I love when several of my podcast interests finally get together and collab. I've been a fan of Derek and Graham for a few years now, glad to see y'all have him on.
Talking about blackout rooms for sleeping, my best so far is really simple - smart lights. I use Hue lights, and they are set to come on when my alarm comes on. I have them set for 10% when they turn on, which is great for not making my eyes hurt when I wake up, but I can still see fine. For me, that has been a huge help.
This was probably my favorite guest so far. It’s been a while since I’ve tuned in but have been heavy on a self improvement journey recently so the timing was perfect! Thank you 🙏🏼

This was perfect for the level of my life i'm at right now, i'm really starting to absorb all this information on this new path I am on. as a recovered addict, bio hacking and fitness and changing my habits has literally turned me into a new person.. Derek is definitely a go to for knowledge on male optimization. Podcast hosts seem pretty chill and intelligent as well! will definitely check out more in the future.. For the hair loss topic…..because of Derek’s channel and advice I do the micro needling stacked with Rogain. No joke I’m only what 2 months in and the recession in my temples are growing back and they’ve been bald for 5-7 years. It’s crazy. I also been taking finasteride for 2 years now and that I notice my hair thickened up and it’s not getting worse at all if anything it’s gotten 10% better cause I can’t see it thin in the mirror with light anymore but the temples neever made any progress until I did micro needling and rogain stack. If my growth keeps up I feel like in 2 years I’ll have a thick fully grown temple hairline. I’m 32 and I noticed at age 25 the recession but never did anything about it. Again it’s been bald there for many years . I feel like the micro needling really is doing good . I was doubtful but I’m staying the course and I’m shocked to be honest .

Towards the end of the podcast you guys critiqued JWaller’s advice on abs. I agree with targeting the lower abs. The reasoning is because the rest of your abs will be worked out indirectly. Generally it is the lower abs that are underdeveloped and neglected compared to the rest of the abs.
Wish Derek would do a video about oral minoxidil. I understand the risks or systemic minoxidil and share the reservations, yet my dr that knows a lot about hairloss has informed me that she is starting to steer people in that direction instead of fin due to some findings that fin sides happen more than previously thought. Im holding off on using it though since fin hasnt really landed people in the ER like minox has, that we know of.
57:12 Jack, if you're worried about hair loss, cutback on your stress levels. I have seen this happen time and again in my own life, men that I personally knew starting their own business and just going gung-ho! Usually three things happens - either they start balding, or they start to look 10 years older within a year, or they develop too much gut fat. I personally think stress is much more harmful than we think it is.
You should really consider making more videos this sounds like a good start
