Cadets percussion was right there as well in 2014....high simultaneous physical and musical demand for the battery, especially, in that group.
I'm glad someone gets it.
Yea, but this is dci top 3, so the three that scored the highest
3:09 that dude totally saw the camera. "WOOOH"
Who the short guy? Brandon? haha no, he was in his dream corps his second year of doing DCI and i can tell you that he was hyped like shit.
+Alex Gaeckle I think he meant the guy to Brandon's left
+Kameron Vrieswyk wait shirt Brandon or center snare?
+Alex Gaeckle I meant short Brandon
+Alex Gaeckle Is the center snare Brandon Gedalje?
6:23 OH MY GOD
SCV Shots....the shots heard around the world
That marimba solo was out of this... stadium. Damn.
I just want to say that the "top 3" ensembles in this video are based purely on score.
Then who else was to be in the top 3? I definitely think that Bluecoats, Vanguard, and Devs be up there. What other groups were cleaner? or played harder material? Crowd favorites they may not be, but they are the better of the groups that year, in my opinion
Bayat Please tell me a different corps that played as difficult material and as clean as they did
Luis Garcia Nowhere have I said that I don't believe that these are the top 3 ensembles. I'm just stating that the order and corps were chosen by their percussion score.
QuadGod Why?
Bayat im sorry, i misunderstood your other comment. Your latest comment cleared that up. My bad.
one of cavaliers colorguard dropped the sword
HA "sword"
Yeah, and one of BD's guard dropped a rifle. It happens.
SCV snare next to quad player at 9:13 followed through so hard his snare tilted forward
Carine Cerny. Lol I saw that
Thanks for this video. Front ensemble doesn’t get enough recognition
Best. Rimshots. Ever.
They played everything leading up to the brass hit in SCV's show and then didn't play the brass hit!!!!i know this is a percussion video but come on that was just mean
Cavaliers really just have to be my favourite.
Okay, I know marimbas on the field was awesome and all, but holy crap, can we appreciate the hornline and guard drill during that?? (I'm a percussionist, by the way, so you can't say I'm biased towards either.)
8:30 tho 👌 SCV on top!!
So I know that These guys were not a top 12 corps.... But holy shit the mandarins were playing some notes!
hey where did you get these clips from?
I'm sad that Cavaliers didnt win.
carolina crown should have been in this
Why? They were pretty terrible as far as their percussion this year.
no i meant last year e=mc2
They didn't score well in the 2013 percussion caption either....
Crown did do great during the start of this year, but they weren't consistent throughout the season.
Blooooooo!!
5:36
dat tenor break at 4:10 doe....
I was so happy when SCV finally got high percussion! Its been a long time coming!
They look so bored for some reason.
I actually think that the Coats had better percussion than SCV and BD this year. Those splits. Those splits.
Overall, no. The front ensemble and battery for SCV were much better. It not just one split gimmick during a show that wins the title.
Splits, which the Blue Devils and Cadets also had for equal or longer durations in harder contexts.
thisistides97 half of Cadets show was splits haha
MHS J-Dawg well i just mean split singles specifically. there are only...i believe four specific events of split singles in the Cadets book.
I was a fan of bloo percussion 2014 but c'mon do you really think split singles mean that much? It's like ya cool, you can play rhythms accurately LOL singles none the less. if you like splits check out Spirit's 2013 drum feature, they got some split hertas going on there
