Always enjoy your reviews. The pace and articulation is nice after a day of work. The more I watch your reviews as well as others? The more I wonder about the basic transducer in all its iterations. For example… I just put into my system a pair of Energy RC 30 towers. It was interesting to listen to them and keep a sort of reference as per old and new offerings . Thanks for the review.
Which would you recommend for Rock / Metal? ELAC Debut 3.0 (5.5” or 6.5”) vs RP600M / 500M (versions 1 or 2). Looking for excitement. I have Emotiva B1+ and think they’re too tame / linear
Great review! Thank you so much for your coverage of affordable gear for us mere mortals. Haha! How would you compare/contrast these to the Wharfedale Diamond 225 that are still available for $299. Thank you!
@@ramondelgado6778 thanks! These have more resolution, more punch, more clarity and sound like a more expensive speaker. The diamonds are great for $299 but these, imo, sound much nicer.
Thanks for the great review! An ELAC owner (FS 267) from Hungary. :) I hope there will be a review of one of the members of the Arendal 1528 speaker series in the future.
Excellent review, they sound promising for the price. I doubt you were expected to reveal the upcoming iteration of the Billie amp as existing stock will stop moving. Cheers!
Would love to see what is inside these speakers. As I have found out just doing a parts upgrade of 50-75 bucks can really help them even more. Especially the tweeters.
I was looking into the Vanatoo Encore One at 650 usd as an upgrade to my Edifier 1280DBs but these Elac + SMSL A300 amp come at around the same price. Which one dp you think its the better choice?
Thank you for a review for something not only for the Upper “ 10’000 “. Besides the story on the HiFi topic, I love your comments and general remarks on Music and Life ( not to say philosophy ).
Thank you! I like affordable stuff as well. Just seems most of the gear that gets sent to me is the higher end stuff. There’s an audience for both but always happy when I see an affordable piece that is excellent. Have a good weekend!
Certainly a consideration for 2025....glad you brought in the $39ers....gives an common ground for more perspective...no screech, chalkboard and fingernails (Jaws)...😉
I have both. IMO the 225s have a more natural tone than the Elacs. Plus the 225s will save you $150. The Elacs will go a little louder, but they do not sound as natural as the 225s.
Thank you for the review and your kind words! Glad you're enjoying Debut 3.0 :)

Nice review! Do you use any sort of room correction software?
Great! Also review the acoustic energy AE100 -2 for smaller rooms
Thanks for review. Very nice and affordable.
Thanks for watching!
new speakers always better then previous)
Always? On which planet?
I have these and love them! One question out of curiosity, what do are you placing between the speakers and the stand?

A great song that shows off what these speakers are capable of:
Breakaway - Big Pig
Band out of Australia.
Love the review and scenery. I have same hobbies: audio and photography. I also like guitar
Man, I wish Micca would offer their speaker wire in custom lengths!
Awesome review! I'm wondering if you or anyone in the comments have heard these and the Polk r200's and which sounds better overall and why?
@@Agent-fg9ol I think the Polk have more depth!
Can you compare these to the Polk R200?
I wonder if these are the better choice to combine them with a sub or if the Unifi Reference B63 would be better.
I like to hear about budget stuff as well. Looking forward to the updated Heaven11.

I have 5 Elac's and 3 Kef's in my "Entertainment-Room" and I'm very happy with all my Elac's also. Hell, I'm Happy with my Kef's also *LOL*.
Which model sounds better between the ELAC debut 3 or the Elac Uni-Fi 2.0 UB52? thank you
Hard to beat the 2.0s.

Would you buy these over the Wharfedale Lintons 85 Heritage?
Maybe

What do you call low volume
What are those speaker stands.... They look cool.... Would love them in white and grey
Yes. What are those speaker stands?

Wondering if there is any perspective vs the PSB alpha bookie?
PSB ARE CLEARER especially at volume
@54tristin Interesting. I find the PSB Alpha line absolutely boring to listen to. Thanks for the reply.

@@johntucker5994 If anyone can find the 225's, they are very sort after and even here in the UK they are hardly ever found second hand.
Who is the designer of these now ...since ANDREW JONES has moved on?
Kiebach Skarff in Germany, In combination with ELAC R&D Toronto and Germany.
How about dali oberon 3 compared to elac sir ?
The Dali are less forgiving, play louder, and I believe are more expensive
