The era of kick synth wars is upon us, let’s hope some healthy competition helps push the envelope on all this software. I’m still in the kick 2/3 camp and fingers crossed for phase lock to become a thing 👌
@@AirArtStudiosOfficial Agreed, I download the demo, it's basically a spectrum analyser, like numerous others, but this one allows you to draw notes over the spectrum display (and drag it into a midi channel) . . . it's not a terrible idea, just badly implemented, if they automated the note drawing it would be worthwhile, but as it is it's sorta' pointless, with a busy 4 bar loop, forget it, you have to draw dozens of notes in a tiny display (the notes are like 2 or 3 pixels high!!), you will make endless mistakes drawing at this size, and there's no obvious way on a Mac to delete mistakes . . . I used it for over an hour, it's kinda' pointless.
I swear, sometimes it feels like the universe conspires to give you what you're thinking about. Anyway, I was messing around with FL Studio the other day, using Wave Candy to analyze some chords. Right when I was thinking, "I wonder if Bitwig has something like that," I saw this video.
If it's anything like Kick 2, probably. Virtual Riot made some dope snares with Kick 2, and doing the AI import on Kick Ninja with some snares will probably get you some good starting points
In my experience bitwig can record and edit mpe just fine, idk about importing it though. Even then I'm sure you could find a clever way to route the MIDI and record it instead
Should be free?...... I don't know of a single product on the market that does what Note Grabber does. The reason they can charge that is because it is unique. Less money = less innovation. They probably do discounts on special days so if you can pick it up for half off or something on blkack friday there you go
Thank you for your review of my plugin (noteGRABBER)!
I'll take what you mentioned into consideration as me and my team work on the next version
:)
I'm testing it, and yes the import kick does work! also very interesting the lock phase !!!
Great, thanks for sharing.

Would love to see you add Audija Kickdrum 2 to the mix, to see how it compares 🎉
So funny that there is a Unison chord pack advertised on a Polarity video. lolol like we use the piano roll or chord packs.
That NoteGrabber plugin is indeed way too expensive for what it does.
@@-------K------- 50 buck? That’s a pretty good deal compared to what most plugins cost these days.
@@nickgilday8946Amigo Sampler is £10.00 . I was expecting this to be ~$20 CAD ($14.75 USD)
Get neural note, its free and jus as good
@@-------K------- agreed - $10 at most. It’s clever but missing useful functionality - like drawing the yourself🤣🤣🤣 wtf

Wave Candy is still king of spectral analyzers, the VST version works great within Bitwig.
Hi, can Kick Ninja be used for creating Snares ? thnx bro!
Nobody ? Polarity huhuuu das solltest Du doch wissen ? 😅

Who needs a plugin when you have Bitwig 🙃
@@Italliving who is lazy.

unfortunately it's not really possible to import mpe into bitwig, there's some weirdness with how bitwig imports stuff like that

Which AI platform are you using to code?
Cursor with Claude
