- This crochet tutorial shows you how to crochet a striped raglan cardigan. Raglan style is super easy to make it fit you! The stitches used is very basic too! I used 6 cakes of the Jumbo yarn and 2 skeins of the white yarn #crochettutorial #howtocrochet #crochetcardigans

Lovely lovely ❤
Thanks 🤗
Wow 😍
🥰🥰
I am currently following this pattern of yours. I'm using Hobby Lobby's Crafter's Secret in the color Midnight Teal with 5.5 mm hook size. I might do a semi-stripe towards the bottom of the cardigan just to add a little pop of color but have not decided yet. This tutorial of yours is by far the easiest one I've seen. Your explanation is spot on. Thank you for sharing. 😊
Thank you for the being so supportive! Would love to see your cardigan when it's done.
@@CherilynQ - I would love to. Thank you so much for the encouragement. 🙂
Beautiful 🩷🧡💛💚💙
Thank you!!
Hi i know this is a late comment, but could you just clarify how we can differentiate between the right and wrong side of the cardigan? I feel like im having trouble with that especially in the collar part. Aside from this the tutorial was really helpful for me as a beginner crocheter!❤
Love the colours in the raglan cardigan and easy to understand tutorial. Would this pattern fit a large as I measured my collar neckline 92 inch divided by 4 which is 23inch each quarter which should make it larger than your pattern. Also, I am making it in Aussie 8 ply wool is that equal to your ply wool. If I want it longer in sleeves and body do, I just add rows.
hope to hear from you soon. Christina from Aussie land.
Hi Christina! Thank you so much for your comment! 🥰
I'm not sure if it's divided by 4, should be by 6 if I'm remembering it right (2 for front, 2 for back, 1 for each sleeve). I also added 4 more chains for increase.
I think to make it easier to adjust the size, you can just skip the first few rows. Use your yarn and check how many chains will fit around your neck comfortably, and start from the row where I have the same stitch number. Then follow the same increase pattern and increase as many rows as you want (this is where you can adjust the main size of the cardigan). Once you stop increasing, the body is straight down no increase. The sleeve I worked decrease but I think you probably won't need to adjust its pattern because you'll have added more increase rows so you sleeve would be longer already. But if you do need it longer, you can add more rounds BEFORE you do the whole decrease part.
I hope I'm being helpful. Please let me know if you have more questions! 🤗
@@CherilynQ Thank you for quick reply. It is Easter holiday here so will start cardigan today and follow your tips. Enjoy weekend.
Is this cardigan for a medium? Love it
Yes, it'll fit a medium 😊
Its beautifil. What size yarn are you using
Thanks! The yarn is 8 ply so weight 3.
@@CherilynQ Thank you for your quick response. I will start tonight
I want this cardigon 40 size measure chat
i struggle a lot with crocheting into the back loop of the chain - any advice?
It's the slowest part for me too and I'm a tight crocheter. My nails help a little but generally, I just take my time with the first row.
@@CherilynQ thank you 🩷
I did find that if I use a slightly smaller needle for the first row it makes it a lot easier 🫶🏼
How many yarn needed for this sweater?
