I use my presto coffee percolator for tea. I don't mind the over extracted tea liquid. I usually use between three or four bags for 12 cups of water. Dipping a chocolate covered biscuit cookies in tea is delicious. The only thing is the coffee percolator has a very very short cord luckily I had a power socket and a shelf that was convenient.
I need a perculator with a timer. I bought a perculator, I think it was the Presto one and it doesnt brew long enough to make good coffee. It just gets to boil and stops brewing. It wont be good unless it brews it for a few minutes or so. I dont know whats wrong with all these perculators but Ive literally only seen like 1 decent one on the market, that has a timer, so I bought that one and love it. WTF though? GOd all these other ones suck, or I dont know what Im doing wrong then.
