Bob Costas, the polished, suave and at-ease interviewer being reduced to helpless laughter by the most entertaining female comic made for a hilarious interview. Elayne Boosler is that incredibly rare female comic that is genuinely funny, not at all relying on the irritating self-deprecating humour so many use. Even today - 23 years later - she stands out as someone intelligent, quick witted and really funny.
