      AnotherScaldingHot ButtloadOfLiquidFeces bro, your name (and possibly mine) is way more strange than his. And his worth is imp for the statement: at the end of the day, the very same attitude that everybody was pointing out as inaceptable made him earn that amount of money. All those who were pointing him never got the chance to make that much money in this life time and possibly the next few together.

    • @bestforyouall
      @bestforyouall 5 років тому +1

      AnotherScaldingHot ButtloadOfLiquidFeces I truly don’t think so. We should be measure for whom we are. Now, our craft and the work we do does have value and bringing this argument is completely relevant here. They are criticizing HIS STYLE OF WORKING but who ended still being relevant in the media and making millions? Howard! Thus the criticism turned out to be unnecessary.

    • @bestforyouall
      @bestforyouall 5 років тому +1

      AnotherScaldingHot ButtloadOfLiquidFeces I don’t like his style neither. I was never a fan of his. I saw the point in the original comment and tried to elaborate. Not attacking you. You are entitled to feel a certain way about him. We all do. We are strictly talking about his style that made him a millionaire. Most millionaires are not angels. Sad but is true :-/

      The irony is that now raunch is pretty much everywhere (Popeyes is selling a sauce endorsed by Megan Thee Stallion and I heard a slow-jam cover of Ginuwine's "Pony" playing on the PA at a chain restaurant the other day), while on the other hand the perpetually-offended are legion and frothing at the mouth over jokes. When I simply asked why it matters about Howard's net worth, your answer was because he's entertaining. Okay... but that still doesn't tell me why it matters about how much money the guy has. Also, you assume that someone who doesn't agree with you must not be able to hold a conversation. Also, why? I don't think there's any evidence there that tells whether or not I'm good conversation material. I just didn't agree with your post, and I asked a simple question. You also assume that I must be gay because of this. Once again, it's simple, gay people go for other gay people, straight people for straight people. Has nothing to do with this conversation. There's nothing wrong with having a difference of opinion, and that's what makes conversations interesting sometimes. But, the way I see it, your conversations would be boring, because people would have to agree with you and kiss your ass. Because God forbid, someone not agreeing with you and questioning what you say. Oh, and nice 4th grade style comeback of calling someone gay and then calling them a little a girl. Next time someone asks you a question, try taking time to articulate what your thinking, or why it matters that you wrote it in the first place. Because if you don't, you'll just continue to come across as a negative narrow-minded loner.

    The station’s management eventually made the calculation that the potential consequence of being associated with his controversial comments outweighed the benefit of continuing to run his show. Perhaps they were being pressured by some influential advertisers behind the scenes, or were worried that he would eventually say something on air that would lead to a sudden mass exodus of sponsors. 1984 was a fairly socially conservative time, so in my opinion, it would not have been unreasonable for them to have such concerns at that moment, knowing only what they knew then.

      Of course its not that easy. Howard has to see a therapist almost everyday. being in the public eye, is no easy task, and being a perfectionist, and all that other muck plays on your brain. Now in 2019 Howard seems to have been sliding away, perhaps its age or perhaps he does not want to be remembered for the days when everyone feared being near him, because he certainly knew he was not all that when it came to looks and was not afraid to say it, so he let the people with the looks know that although you may be beautiful or handsome, you are not getting out of my studio with the same life you walked in here with, yes he brought tears to the eyes of many guests on his show, and they in turn hated him, now he is trying to make amends, before the good Lord says its time to say goodbye, not good radio anymore, though true fans will always be in Stern's corner, it was not about him, just the show. He seems to have forgotten all of that. it was the Howard Stern SHOW.

    Honestly, a true genuis. He was in his 30's during this interview and dominated. There's a lot to be learned about ineffective management in this clip.

    I listened to him every morning in the nineties on the school bus. All he did was make me laugh.
