An amazing snapshot of Dana's most famous impressions from his peak time on SNL. And a few gags I never heard from him before in other interviews, like the busboy joke.
He spoke about people having an issue with his George Bush impression during the first Persian Gulf War. This proves that there have ALWAYS been someone, somewhere who will be offended by something. There is no such thing as a joke that is not offensive. There is always that one person in the room who will be offended if the wind blows wrong.
I saw this when it came out originally and it is one of the best of Later. Bob has always been my favorite interviewer. I don't like the likes of Barbara W and all her wannabes.

Yes, this was awesome to see

Hilarious! Thx for posting.
It is amazing how difficult (impossible) it is for Dana to just do a straight interview without "performing"
The Katherine Hepburn car ignition thing made me laugh so hard that I scared my cat
I do that all the time lol
And by this time, I think he'd been doing that joke for at least 5 years. That's why he says it never fails. He always went back to it!
😭 Dana crushing it

I can't believe Costas asked whether George Michael Sports Machine and George Michael musician get confused!
A jab me thinks
@@ClevelandLiveMusic yes, thought it would have been obvious.

They really didn't hold back like he was considering here. Pretty soon he had Bush donning night vision goggles and threatening Saddam on SNL.
Scaredy cat

Bob Costas has the personality of a carrot!
17:15 girlfriend?
Hahaha that aged well
@@conorsmith8551 There's a reason George didn't mind SNL advertising his butt. 😂
Nice to see this interview but Costas' huge ego almost completely ruins it
