76k views is a crime. This is absolute genius at work. 99.9998% of the world will never hear him perform again. Literally, a masterclass in piano in front of a live audience, blowing them away more than they could ever have expected. Kudos.
The Sydney 1986 is one of my all time favorites, where the instrumental really evelates the music to another lvl and the raspy vocals complement it all so well ☺️
I get surprised every time i find a video where is solo and i haven't seen it yet, and then he plays like this! LOVE HIM SO MUCH CAN'T FORGET LAST YEAR!
He is definitely , Right hand Dominant. He and Billy Joel have very different Mechanist styles. Joel is more fly finger movment, Elton is more Syncopated , yet substantial movements. They just never liked being compared to eachother.
Lets travel back to some of the fastest performances ever recorded, the one you mentioned Hammersmith Odeon 1982, Wembley 1984, and basically any show made before 1985
May2024 absolutely nothing wrong with this performance.Genious at work delivering stunning rendition of B.ennie and the Jets commom❤❤❤❤😂❤❤❤b❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

true, instead millions of people are cheering on Bob Dylan and his atrocious live performances.
What a pianist he is! Excellent solo!
Just amazing. He didn't play the same run twice.
wow that was off the charts. so immensely talented. and fun. this took me away for a bit. thank you Elton John
he just brings the stars in my eyes
my favourite performance of bennie and the jets! in my opinion 🎉
There are lots of "in the mood" versions of Bennie and the jets but this one is definitely my favourite.
Same
I've got to agree with you on that one.
Me too!

Elton John is the greatest pianist ever!!!!!!!
So fast, so good, I would like to listen it faster, and he tripping more. such great musician Elton.
Showman. Clown. Exhibitionist ...and absolute chuffin' musical genius.
Absolutely amazing. Just blown away by this.
Raw talent - what a genius!!
WOW! Quel pianiste formidable! Elton John I LOVE YOU!! XXX
Genius!
Oh my goodness 😃. Still great song after all these years 😂. Benny in the Jets. Still listening to it today 😀.
I am a huge fan of his, but this was a little different style than he usually does, and I loved it, thank you for posting!
This was in Atlanta, February 23, 1999 (third show of the 1999 solo tour)
Thank you so much for listing the venue and the year!!!
What a fabulous performance from my favorite performer of all time!!!!!😊
SIR ELTON JOHN
I don't get how anyone could vote down on this video! If you think you can do better, then show us please!!!!
This was the Atlanta concert in the evening with Elton John tour
you took the words right out of my mouth, thumbs up buddy.
Todo un genio en el piano ❤
If you have any more from this concert please add :) thanks!
I love him

This dude is like the mozart of the modern world. On piano.
The turn around in In The Mood he did....my god.
So Good ...
if you came from george collier, 3:52
5:14 in the mood??
1:46 and 2:48 are the most recognisable little countermelodies!!,
I have been trying to learn Bennie and the jets on piano with the in the mood stuff as well
I wonder if Elton would be physically capable of doing this song with the 1.25X speed. Listen to it, it’s amazing
He used to be capable of playing 1.25x speed when he was doing coke in the 70's and 80's.
@@jaggass Ah yes, Hammersmith Odeon 1982
@@Nikita-ez4ko Legendary like all of his show's from the early to mid 80's.
Lets travel back to some of the fastest performances ever recorded, the one you mentioned Hammersmith Odeon 1982, Wembley 1984, and basically any show made before 1985
why would he want to? this was amazingly perfect..... wow. just incredible
I have the full audio recording of this show that I might upload on my channel!
At 1:46, I love this countermelody!
4:41 Does that sound like something from Super Mario?
The piano sounds like a Casio keyboard so yeah
🐐
where was this at? somewhere in the US for sure, but where?
Atlanta, feb 23, 1999
Elton doesn't need a band just him and a piano is fine .carol king also could give a great solo concert!
Where on the Medusa tour was this? I've never seen this video before.
Atlanta feb 3, 1999
It sounds like he relapsed on his cocaine addiction here lol. I like it...
2:17
Originally it was randy and connie. Just didnt have the same ring.
I think it was as Randy and Jeff.
Why does he always sing with his lips against the microphone? Does he not think the mic is good enough to pick up his voice?
He uses floor monitors so you really have to sing close to the mic to hear yourself.
It helps him sit up straight.
Just his preferred technique.
This video is not real 😂
Foot plank sing.
He makes that 12 foot plank song. Incredible
annoyingly talented
Kinda sloppy there, lazy Elton...
What you talking about? He’s amazing here
@@Nikita-ez4ko Exactly! this performance is golden, i have seen two comments talking about how bad it is, how is it bad?

Love all your hearts for Elton. I feel the same way!
