I love that Shoocharu is basically Danny's go to animator for music videos. As comedic as his animations can be, he does the serious stuff just as well.
And he always exceeds expectations every single video. Once And Never More is one of my all time favorite music videos in general.
I only just started to listen to Skyhill a few days ago! I showed my mom NSP and she wanted to hear more so I showed her Skyhill and got into myself! What a time for me to be getting into it!
I think its because Shoocharu can nail that Last Unicorn aesthetic which was clearly an inspiration here.
It’s amazing watching him grow as an artist over the years.
Not only that, but it’s also impressive how fast he works with the quality he delivers

Man I don’t know why but Dan’s voice always brings tears to my eyes, it really makes me so emotional. It’s like it reminds me how to feel and why I even got into music. Thanks to the whole Skyhill team, I love the song.

I feel terrible not realizing Dan is in other bands besides NSP and Starbomb. I’ve never expected him to sing serious stuff, but this is very well made! 👌🏽
You should definitely check out all of his other serious stuff. Skyhill, Shadow Academy, Northern Hues, and he's even done stuff with Super Guitar Bros and TWRP.

I am literally crying. Since I listened to Skyhill for the first time ten years ago it never left any of my playlists. I adored the first album a lot and it was shipped to me by Peter without any shipping to my country which was so nice.

''Run with the Hunted'' is my go-to album to listen to when I'm feeling down in the middle of the night, and when I started studying programming, I had to make a website about something I was passionate about. I chose Skyhill!
If you haven't checked out this band yet, definitely give it a listen. And go give Dan's other old band, The Northern Hues, a spin as well. Both great.
Beautiful singing matched with beautiful artwork/animation, and relentless drumming - It's hard to believe the song is over after only a couple minutes.

As someone who feels like they waited way too long in life pursue the things they love, this song is powerful. It hits like a truck and then picks me up afterward. I couldn't ask for more.

I listened to this song at least 5 times on repeat while I was at work, I'm off work now and I've listened to it at least 10 times since then. Truly amazing song. The melodies, the Singing, the guitar, everytging in this song is outstanding y'all outdid yourselves on this one!

stuff like this is why i love these smaller animation projects/"indie" animations. Such incredible work by such small teams. Really keeps the spirit of animation alive

IMHO something about Skyhill's sound brings just the best of danny's vocals, not that he dosen't sound good on the other musical projects, Starbomb and such, but to me this is the perfect combination, the instruments with his voice really go well together, glad they're still working together, hope they keep making more stuff like this!
I think the focus on reverb and ambience combined with his vocal harmony layering creates a warm blanket of sound. As a fan of Danny on almost everything else he's done, I agree 100%. The "So now I" part in the chorus is just fucking magic to me.

Every time skyhill has released a new single, I've been going through an extremely tumultuous time in my life - an awful breakup, struggling through the end of my degree, and now trying to find my place in the world as an adult - and it feels like each song was for *me* when I needed it. I'm feeling sappy and very grateful to be alive at the same time as these guys.
Big ups, this music is hype and i am HERE FOR IT. Amazing work from all those involved, please never stop making cool stuff like this.

Run With The Hunted is my all time favorite album, not just because the music itself is so good, but because it has so much meaning to me. I stumbled on Skyhill during one of the lowest moments of my life, caught in a spiral of existential dread. I listened to Skyhill so much during that time, and the melancholic but hopeful feel of the album spoke to me in ways nothing else at the time could. Now, many years later, it's still my go-to comfort album. When the world has made me numb, it brings me back to feeling again. This upcoming album has me the most excited I've felt for anything in nearly decade, and this song is a beautiful start.

This was an unexpected but absolutely welcome treat. I remember looking up Skyhill after Dan casually mentioning it back in the Steam Train days playing Skyrim with Ross and then I ended up listening to Run With the Hunted on repeat for months and months. When you guys released Howling at the Moon a couple of years ago, I never thought we'd end up with a full new album! This track is fantastic - absolutely stellar work, guys! Stoked for the new album!!
