I made a playlist of all of his more soft and tender songs (including this one), which I listen whenever I need help with sleeping. It feels like he’s singing a bunch of lullabies to me. 😊💙
@@sweetpea2604 i cried when he did scarborough fair. while its impossible to really define a personality, i think tender is one of dans most prominent traits, and we love him for it.

Never a dark moment when listening to Danny’s music

Picture it this way you are listening to Danny's music whilst watching your family home burn down when you know the rest of your family is trapped inside and when your tear striken eyes turn back just behind you the love of your life takes a semi to the face whilst running out half naked from your neighbors house.

@@Aleanthus Yeah but in the dead of night a fire doesn't give light but shadows. Constantly dancing and moving shadows that your mind will paint its own picture with. When you are suffering, when you are hurting, what you see isn't just dancing shadows but countless figures surrounding you and mocking you. Ghosts in the light that haunt your mind that will hurt you more the longer you stare.

@@Molue_ unfortunately a lot of them can’t get into Ninja Sex Party because it’s too ‘pop’ sounding and I’m like wtf it sound like Rush and Queen had a baby and it grew up to have an incredible sense of humor
@@terranocturnus I didn't exclusively mean 'Ninja Sex Party', I was more referring to the summation of all of Dan's time in comedy (along with all the colorful characters he's met and worked with along the way), not specifically 'musical comedy'.

It's nice to hear Danny do serious music more, all his hard work is heard in the maturity of his voice and writing. He's an inspiration to any musician!
His voice on Magnum Bullets is top tier.
He's done serious music, Scarborough Fair, The Last Unicorn, Magnum Bullet his own versions of old rock songs like Africa, We Built This City, he's done a lot of things, and a lot of variety, just shows how much of a chameleon he is, because it is amazing, but I hope this doesn't mean less NSP either.

I feel like Dan’s music truly uncovered a deep part of myself within. Something that says, “if things aren’t alright, they’re going to be alright.” 🧡 to me not worrying about a future in an eternal now is learning not to play to that other side

Danny Avidan is the last dying breath of a bygone era, when music was always art and meant something. Not that music like that doesnt exist today, but ive to find anyone who so closely matches the aesthetic i conjure to mind when thinking of 80's and early 90's ecletic music. I love you, Danny Avidan. please never stop making beautiful art like this, becuz it brings tears of joy to my eyes

As a Christian and a NSP/Game Grumps fan, this song really means a lot to me. There are a lot nods to Scripture in this song. "My vanishing saviors, who rose alone," "Cast no stone," and "Blessed are the meek," are a few examples that come to mind. To me personally, I feel this song is saying that we shouldn't wish for death or "the other side" to escape the harsh realities of life in favor of a better afterlife. We will all be lost at some point in life, and that's okay. We'll get through it.
If you're a good and righteous person seeking guidance, one way or another, you WILL find it. For me, and for a lot of people, that's Jesus Christ. For others, it's their family, their dreams, or their honest core values. Both are valid.
And this song perfectly captures the feeling of that winding but beautiful walk we all take through life!

Damn this song makes me wanna drive past a city on the highway at night and contemplate life while the lights whoosh past me in cinematic fashion. What a vibe.
There is such a range to Danny and to Shoocharu. They've done balls to the wall crazy humor, and have done it well, and they are also capable of something so profound. It takes talent and a well rounded person to be able to achieve that. I also love that Danny has gotten to do "serious" music again after mostly doing comedy focused stuff for so long. It must feel good.
The best compliment about this band is that I keep them in a playlist with Rush and Coheed & Cambria

I always love videos like this, mostly because I can never pinpoint exactly why I like the video as much as I do. Most of the time I don't even understand the videos meaning other than the meaning I've made up for myself. But I suppose that's one of the most lovely things about videos like this, many parts of it are so obscure that it holds a different meaning to each person, separating us and yet connecting us at the same time.

Love the animation by Shoocharu and the song is beautiful. Before these Shadow Academy animations, I mostly thought Shoocharu did semi-grotesque animations with the Grumps or semi-normal ones for NSP, but his Shadow Academy ones are huge departures and beautiful.
I think this one is gonna stick with me for a while. From the gorgeous visuals, to the wonderful singing and lyrics, this song really strikes something in me. Beautifully done Shadow Academy and Shoocharu.
