Static-X is the band that I keep forgetting about but maybe once in a year I'll have something that reminds me of them and I'll go listen to their discography for a whole week. Love the band. I didn't expect you guys to do this video, but it's really appreciated!

I seen them in Grand Rapids with Slayer and Pantera. Fricken Slayer fans were throwing stuff at them and they almost walked off stage. Luckily they didn't and put on a great show.

That first album they made since Wayne died is so fucking good. Super heavy and underrated. Otsego placebo is the best one to pick!

Wisconsin Death Trip still to this day has no equal. It is one of a kind and seriously unique even in its own genre.
I never thought you guys would do a Static-X video but I loved it! LOVE Static-X! I was lucky enough to catch them at the last Ozzfest (before Wayne passed) and hope to see them again in their newest incarnation. You guys did great as always, Love the new Myserion (IDK the spelling by heart yet lol that may be incorrect). Met Dean in Brooklyn for the VIP! (I was late AF! Best wishes, you're both amazing!
I never got the change to see them live with Wayne, but have seen them twice with Xero! I definitely recommend catching them if you ever get that chance
Was at the same meet and greet. (Were you part of the couple that came in after we all got in?) It really was a great time. And loud AF when we sang the lyrics for one of their upcoming new songs. Glad you made it 🤘🏼

I saw Wayne on his last tour, maybe the fourth to last show. They played Wisconsin Death Trip for the anniversary in its entirety and then some other songs after. His wife was also there, leading several toasts throughout the night.
It is a tragedy what happened to them both. I am so glad whenever his music is highlighted, thank you both.
I love Static-X. I think their album "Wisconsin Death Trip" is the only one I bought based solely on the name and cover of the album. I was and am so happy I stumbled upon it! Great episode of 4 Levels....and the thumbnail is EPIC!

Wayne was the epitome of not being a master guitarist, but a master of what he does with the guitar. The dude could play, but he always kept it catchy, crunchy, and simple.
Static-x is still one of my favourite bands. So happy you guys played Anything But This!
Static-X was my first metal concert when I was a wee little lad at age 12. Always have enjoyed the overall feeling of their music, even if its very simplistic (in terms of playing) its quite a juicy layer cake to enjoy.

Just so you know it is still worth going to see them. I just saw them for the first time since Wayne passed. It was a great show. Imo they are so respectful of Wayne I would definitely go see them again.🤘

I wish I had the chance to see Static-X when Wayne was alive, but I did see them earlier this year when they toured with Sevendust, and they fucking kill it live. So much energy, so loud, and just a ton of fun.

I didn't give a shit about Static-X until I happened to see them at a festival while they were touring for Cult of Static. They blew me away. An absolutely stellar performance. I've been a fan ever since.

Wisconsin Death Trip was the heaviest thing i had ever heard at 11 years old in 1998. I remember loving the fk out of Machine too, get to the gone is fucking mind blowing, that song used to scare me!

I really have always related to the opinion that the simple, yet catchy, groovy riffs are so tough to know when it's right. I feel like it was easier when I was a less experienced guitar player. Also... you can truly feel Claire's appreciation/crush she has on someone here 👀😂

Gotta say that I had no interest in their new stuff... I did not mind at all that they resurrected the band after Wayne died. Also didn't mind that the new vocalist goes for the exact same look. But I wasn't interested in the new music. [in big reveal intonation:] Until now! Will check out those recent evil disco albums after this vid.

Back in I think 2001 I discovered Static-X and at that time my first serious guitar purchase was going to be influenced by Wayne or Dan Donegan from Disturbed. I had NO idea how to identify guitar brands at the time but I ended up with an Epiphone Gothic Explorer back in 2003. Obviously inspired heavily by Wayne and him playing a Gibson Gothic Explorer, especially from the I'm With Stupid video. I still have that Explorer to this day. I remember those pre-UA-cam days of downloading Static-X videos off of Kazaa, Limewire, etc just to see live videos and try to learn their music. The Cold performance on Last Call with Carson Daly specifically along with their early Ozzfest performances, and The Only performance on ABC. Disturbed, Static-X, Kittie, KoRn, Flaw, etc were all bands I found in the pre-UA-cam days and I'm so thankful for it. I'm also so thankful I got to see Static-X a handful of times before Wayne passed. Still one of my biggest vocal/guitar influences to this day 🥹🖤

if i was in canada you can bet that i'd make my way over to Gibsons to watch claine's band. partially just to spite dean, big part cause mysirion is actually pretty awesome, but mostly cause that flag is the most random thing i've ever seen.
