Glad their customer service stepped up to the plate.. was interested in this grill, but held off on the purchase.. seems like alot of growing pains are happening with it right now... definitely curious on how your repair process goes and if you can see any updates in the manufacturing of new parts.
Jeff Foley I was sent a new auger assembly and that has seemed to correct the problem of hitting 600F. I’m pretty pleased with the EX6 and have had no further problems.
Thanks for the reply. Glad its working out for you. Hope they are correcting the launch issues.. I recently bought the masterbuilt 560 gravity instead. Post some cooks with this weber!!
I like Weber, but I’m surprised they didn’t catch this before they released it. I sounds like they are trying to fix it though, and good customer service is a rare thing these days.
Ghostgoat I’ve always had good customer service from Weber, but you’re right it’s rare with other companies. I’m starting to think about what’s happening this way. A version of augers or controllers were bad on a WSF. To me it’s like the recall I had on my truck. Problem was identified and the part was replaced. Brand new parts fail, it happens. It shouldn’t, but it does. Thanks for comments.

It’s probably the pellets your using
I use Weber pellets and have had no issues
discusthrowerstate I’m using Weber pellets as well.
Keep Weber support on speed dial.
